You’d really allow that? I mean, yes, if you’re super comfortable with it, i would very much like to talk to him, that would be probably the coolest second coolest thing (don’t want you to feel like you’re suddenly second banana to your assistant).

And on my end, I would like to keep this private from my kind, at least for now. I have no idea what the future holds and if we’ll have the capacity to accept you ponies the same way you and I accept each other, but that’s not a jump I feel comfortable making in humanity’s behalf.

I’ll also attach a letter directly addressed to Spike as well. You can give it to him whenever you feel like he’s ready.
