During the entrance exam to Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns, Twilight completely loses control of her magic. Celestia tries in vain to calm her down, but having no other choice she's forced to use a shrinking spell on the filly in order to tone down her dangerous surge of power.

After the exam, Celestia takes the tiny Twilight as her personal student to teach the young unicorn control over her powerful magic, making sure that she will pose no threat to other beings.

Will tiny Twilight be able to step out into a world designed for someone far larger than her? And will her size impede her in the trials of life as princess personal student ?

Twilight Sparkle the Princess of Friendship finds a weird gem that sends her back in time, around 200 years before Discord came into the picture. When she comes to she looks at her reflection from a lake to find that her fur and mane colors have changed. Even her cutie mark has changed completely. But yet she still is an alicorn. Thinking that somehow she is in alternate dimension of her home world. And that was what she looked like in the dimension. So she thought she would just play along even though the area she was in looked a little bit more old equestrian then the Equestria of her time. Soon she bumped into who she thinks is Princess Celestia. But is now a male counterpart of her known as Prince Solarium. She began to say her whole name but as soon as she said Twilight she saw Princess Luna!

She quickly figures out that this was not a different dimension. But the past, not wanting to reveal who she fully was she changes her last part of her name to Shimmer. Now everyone in the past believes that she is Twilight Shimmer. Except for Princess Luna and Prince Solarium. Who figured it out right away that Twilight is not of this time. But both respect the fact that she does not feel comfortable revealing the future to them. Knowing that there would be a good chance that. Twilight might not even exist if they learn about their future.

Join Twilight as she tries to get back to her time. While wondering how in the wide world of Equestria. Could Princess Celestia ever have been a male. And is thinking that the two elder princesses had a lot of explaining to do when she returned back to her time. But the longer she stuck in the past might cause her to change her mind and wish to stay in the past find out.

Note I do not make the picture nor do I know who made the picture that I used for cover art I just googled it by just typing time looked at images and found it so I have no credit for this picture whatsoever. I just thought it looked cool and I posted it as my cover for this fanfic. Nothing more nothing less.

She is the last. All her kin are gone. They'd either been blown apart by the Friendship spell so many ages ago or, in the case of her sister, changed their diet from hate to love. Cryoxia is the last of the windigos, but she is determined to be different, to never go back to those days ever again.

She'll make friendship from hate. She'll adopt an alicorn foal as her sister. She'll take physical form and learn how to move the celestial orbs with her mind. Celestial... has a nice ring to it. And she'll ally with the other nations in the world, establish friendship and preach harmony, no matter how they may diminish her food source. She'll make a world so wonderful that it will starve her to death.

Twilight Sparkle has always respected the laws of science and magic. It's a respect that got her a scholarship to SGU, where she formed a small but comfortable group of friends and has received top grades in her two years there. It's a life that makes sense.

With her final year beginning and a special instruction from the Princess to bond with a fellow pupil, Twilight has enough to fill her life and her mind. It doesn't make sense that she should have recurring dreams about a mysterious mare, that this mare seems eerily familiar despite being a total stranger, or that she can recall the dreams with unusual clarity.

Twilight has questions about Equestria and about herself, and the answers could reshape her perception of both. She begins her research with a central question:

What lies beyond the edge of a dream?

When Twilight returns Cerberus to Tartarus, the last thing she expects to find and happen is to meet the ruler of the realm herself.

Even less so when that pony, Penumbra, turns out to be an alicorn. As she spends more time with the mysterious mare, Twilight finds herself drawn to her.

Unable and unwilling to leave Penumbra alone, Twilight strikes a deal with her to allow her to leave Tartarus. A deal that will change both of their lives.

Twilight and friends defeated Sombra after his return because Discord refused to fight in their place (and even hammed it up by taking a blow from the Crystal Empire's former ruler). The chaos master pushed the girls to find the magic in themselves to battle back the villain all on their own. But his 'lesson-teaching' gestures seemed extreme this time around, even for him. What is Discord hiding? What is he waiting for? And what does he want no one--neither the girls nor Luna and Celestia--to know? But Equestria's two soon-to-be-retired princesses want to understand.

A story told in several parts that will end when MLP: FIM does and we finally see what's at the end of this friendship rainbow.

Twilight Sparkle has had a crush on Princess Celestia for a very long time. When Celestia's own advice prompts her to confess her attraction, Twilight discovers a secret that Celestia has hidden for hundreds of years. With the fires of the sun itself separating them, can Twilight find a way for them to come together?
