They soon reached Canterlot Castle where Queen Cosmos and King Artemis waited for them. The two were very eager to meet Twilight. Once the carriage landed the four data and Artemis was the first to speak. "Welcome, I hope your trip here was pleasant and this must be Twilight, it's a pleasure to meet you."
At hearing this Twilight out her head for with respect at the two. "It's a pleasure to meet you too. As well, your Majesty's."
~~~ And now onto chapter 11... ~~~
Queen Cosmos began to chuckle a bit. "There is no need for formalities your are welcome. Guests please come along, I'll show you where you'll be staying during your stay."
Twilight gave her a warm, kind smile that instantly won over Cosmos and Artemis. This made them glad of the fact that their only son had made on his true love. "That's very much appreciated. Thank you very much your Majesty."
"You're very much welcome and can I just repeat that there is no need for formalities."
At hearing this Twilight blushed. "I'm sorry but no one has ever told me your names. When I had explained that no one even knows where you two are in my timeframe. Solarium and Luna told me that more than likely, you two on the big vacation that you have mentioned to them might happen. But neither one has mentioned your name's yet."
At hearing this Artemis gave to his two kids of glare that said. *You didn't bother to tell her our name's?*. Which Twilight didn't see since she was already walking ahead with Cosmos. To where she would be staying in the Castle. Once Twilight got settled in she began walking around. The Castle did not seem really all that much different then it did in her timeframe and she thought she knew what quite well. That's when she bumped into Solarium. "Oh hello Solarium."
"Oh Twilight how you liking your stay. So far at my parents Castle?"
"Oh just fine."
The two continued walking around until Twilight notice something about them. "Is that what I think it is?"
"Mistletoe, yes, but what is that doing their? Never seen any hung in the Castle before, or anywhere for that matter?"
At hearing this Twilight with her head towards Solarium. "You don't know the tradition of mistletoe? Wait... Is a now a tradition here in this time around Hearth's Warming?"
"Mistletoe is another thing in your time frame like sleepovers... What do you do with mistletoe?"
Twilight began to blush at the question. "Well, you see…"
Just then, one of the Castle mates was walking around with a bucket of mistletoe, when Solarium thought of this. He decided to ask her since it seemed like Twilight was not in the mood to answer. "Miss what are you doing with that bucket of mistletoe?"
At seeing that the Prince and the mare was standing under the mistletoe she hanged. She dropped the bucket she was holding. "Oh I am so sorry. I did not think that you would ever be under the mistletoe with a mare your Majesty. You see I'm new here and my little sister kind of started a little tradition at my parents place some time ago and I thought since I was tied up at the Castle, I could try to start the trend at the Castle as well. The head made said it was all right."
"Mind tell me what this tradition is?"
"Well, you see, when stallion and mare is, caught under the mistletoe. You're supposed to kiss lip to lip, with your family by blood or you're already married to someone else. Then a kiss on the cheek would do."
At hearing this Solarium blushed and slowly turn towards Twilight. "Is this true in your time frame? Is this tradition carried out?"
Twilight meekly nodded her head. "Yes. In fact, somepony say it's bad luck if you don't do so."
At hearing this Solarium's heart began to pound he didn't know what to do on the one hoof. This was not really a tradition in his time frame. But on the other of it was for Twilight and he did want to disrespect her culture. Meanwhile, Twilight didn't know what to do. Ever since she found out what the mistletoe was for. She did her very best to avoid at all cost, especially if a stallion was nearby. Now she ended up getting caught with the very first mistletoe hung inside the castle... With Solarium! What were the chances of that! She didn't know whether she should kiss him or not. What they didn't know was before the maid explained what the mistletoe was for. Artemis Luna and Cosmos entered the area and heard the whole thing and began to hope that they do kiss. While at the same time made a promise that if the two did kiss that they would make it a tradition to have mistletoe hung around the castle every year for now on. Eventually Solarium decided that this was a perfect chance to finally kiss Twilight. So he began leaning down towards her. At that same moment Twilight looked up towards him, only to see that Solarium was leaning towards her. Which caused her heart to begin to pound as well. Eventually to she began moving her head towards his and then the two lips finally met and the two ended up sharing their very first kiss together. Which they both felt electricity run through their bodies, their hearts began to burn with a fiery passion. They never felt anything like this before and they didn't want to stop. The maid was blushing at seeing the site before her and didn't know if she should stop them and began to look towards the rest of the Royal family saying this Artemis gave the maid the motion up not to interrupt and to move along which the maid was gladly to oblige.
Sometime after the maid left. The two finally stopped their kiss, which both Solarium and Twilight were blushing fiercely at what they just did.
