~~~ Last Time ~~~
Twilight still had a lot of questions in her mind, but she felt a lot better now than she did before. So she looked up at the two and smiled. "Thank you two for your help. I very much appreciate it."
And with that Twilight began to wake up...
~~~ And now we continue right where we left off! ~~~
When she finally did wake up, she felt warm and safe like the times she was in Celestia's embrace. Taking a nap from magical exhaustion back when she was a filly, and was still Celestia student. But yet at the same time... It felt so different as if it felt more right than it was before. It made her feel loved, yet not the type of love she had with Celestia, not the mother daughter kind of love. But the more romantic kind. At this point Twilight, finally opened her eyes only to see that she was in fact sleeping under the embrace of Solarium. And Solarium was still asleep. Which came to her as a shock for Twilight because judging by the position of the sun... She had been out cold for at least 2 to 4 hours! And if Solarium had been asleep for that long as well was shocking on itself. Celestia did not like taking naps during the day. When Celestia was by herself taking a nap she would be out cold for only about a half an hour. If Twilight joined her in the nap it would be only for an hour, sometimes an hour and a half. But then Celestia would wake up and would start levitating scrolls and documents. Then start working on them when Twilight continued napping. Waking up to this Twilight did not know how to take it and she began to wonder if Solarium was sick. Since the only exception of Celestia's sleep pattern was when she was sick. So Twilight started to raise one of her hooves towards Solarium head to see if he had a fever once she did so. She felt that his head was fine and began to move her hoof back to her side as soon as she did so Solarium woke up.
Seeing that Solarium was awake Twilight began to chuckle nervously and Solarium blushed realizing that he was caught sleeping with her and felt a bit embarrassed but before he could explain himself, Twilight spoke up. "Well I better go back and continue working on my gift for you since it seems that we have taken a four hour nap. Bye." And with that Twilight left Solarium's bed chambers with a smile. This of course left Solarium sitting, frozen in shock at what Twilight said about how long they were asleep. Eventually, he channeled his magic to see where the sun was at only to see that Twilight was telling the truth. This came to him as a shock because he knew for a fact what Twilight and Luna knew about him sleeping during the day.
~~~ Meanwhile, Making her way to the kitchen... ~~~
Twilight was trying not to think about any of that. And focus more towards Solarium's present. As she had just reached the kitchen and so she began making the icing. Once she was done, icing the cake. She'd placed the cake in the box that she bought and started heading towards Luna's bed chambers. To find Luna laying on her bed which as soon as Twilight close the door Luna looked up towards her and smiled. "I see you're done making your present for Solarium."
"Yes I just need to box it up and then I'll be good to go. Although I am going to have to take extra precaution I don't want it to get ruined on the trip to Canterlot."
"True."
The two kept talking and having there conversation until supper.
~~~ The Next Day... ~~~
The next day things were normal, as in day to day life. Then it became night again. But tonight was different from a normal night since Luna and Twilight decided to have a sleepover and they just got done with a pillow fight. Not too long ago and decided to play truth or dare and it was Twilight's turn to ask the question. "So Luna truth or dare?"
"Dare."
"All right, I dare you to go to Solarium bed chamber's door. Use your Royal Canterlot Voice and confess to something you did to him. Something that if he found out about it. He would get really angry at you."
At hearing this Luna paled. She knew for a fact that if her brother found out about half of the stuff she did to him, when they were still living in Canterlot with their parents... If he had found out about it when they were still kids... Well, Solarium would seriously have tried to send her to the moon. "Are you sure about that?"
"I'm positive now go on."
At this Luna sighed and started heading over to her brother's bed chambers. Once she reached the chamber doors, she took a deep breath before shouting. "I'M THE ONE WHO DYED YOUR WHITE COAT TO HOT PINK ON YOUR 10TH BIRTHDAY!!!"
Not even a moment later did Solarium burst out of the doors looking for his sister. Starting using his own Royal Canterlot Voice. "IT WAS YOU WHO DYED MY COAT ON MY BIRTHDAY. IT TOOK ME A WHOLE MONTH TO GET THE DYE OFF!"
At that moment Luna took it as her chance to make a run for it, and started running back to her bed chambers. Which Solarium followed once Luna made it back to her bed chambers. Luna went in, closed the doors and rushed under her bed. Seeing this Twilight gave out a very puzzled look wondering what was going on. This was since she thought that Solarium would be very forgiving, just like Celestia. But then Solarium burst it through the doors. Which caused her to turn towards him and realize that her dare might have went a little too far. Solarium used his Royal Canterlot Voice once more. "LUNA WHERE ARE YOU!"
Only after he did so. Did he see Twilight in the room rubbing her ears from the loudness of his voice, causing him to regret doing so. This caused him to blush from embarrassment before chuckling nervously. "Sorry to bug you Twilight, but have you seen my sister?"
Twilight knew that lying was not the best answer. But since she got Luna into this mess she decided to cover for her this one time. "I'm sorry Solarium, but I haven't seen her since she left to do that dare. That I asked her to do."
At hearing this Solarium froze. Realizing that Luna and Twilight was doing a sleepover tonight, and if he did anything to Luna that would prevent her from coming back. It could make Twilight upset and if she found out it was his fault for Luna not coming back. She might get angry at him and then he might lose his chances with her. "Oh I see. I am going to have to guess that you're doing what you call a sleepover right?"
At this Twilight nodded her head. This made Solarium even more nervous than he was before. "Well then I should get going. I hope you and my sister in joy your night so good night Twilight."
With that Solarium left the room and closed the door and not a moment sooner did Luna crawl out from under the bed. "I thought he would never leave. Thanks for the save Twilight."
"No problem Luna. After all, I did dare you to did do that dare that got you into that mess. So I thought that I should do at least something to get him off your back for now anyways. It's your turn to ask the question. But let's make this our last one since we still have to do makeovers and then we still got scary stories to tell."
What the two didn't know was that Solarium didn't go that far away from the chamber doors. In fact he was actually eavesdropping. He was, upset that Twilight lie to him, but he understood why Twilight did it. And decided to let it go and forgive her. But he was kind a curious what Luna would make Twilight do. "All right truth or dare?"
"Truth."
"Alright, what would your dream date be like?"
At hearing this Solarium froze. If he was able to not get caught and hear what Twilight answer was. He would be able to make a perfect date for her and just pretended that it was just a simple hanging out together. That could help him win Twilight's heart, so he paid attention the best he could to Twilight's answer. "To be honest, I don't really know. I've never really been on a real date before the only thing I can really think of is maybe. My date and myself sitting next to a warm fireplace both of us reading a good book together. Just us being with each other. If he was, Pegasus, or an Alicorn he holding me in his wing embrace as well. Maybe have some food and drinks that are our favorites as well. I think would be a good time. But as I said I have no dating experience and I was not ever really much into the whole romance thing growing up. In fact that I've never been quite a fan of romance novels and I was never trying to find Mr. perfect. Or dreaming about getting married, I always thought if it happened. However, my sister-in-law on the other hoof would be the better pony to ask for perfect dating advice. She also knows me very well, so she probably would know what a perfect date for me would be even more so than myself."
At hearing that both solarium and Luna gave a exasprated sigh in unison. Sighs that were so in sync that you would have to be listening for the difference to hear it. So Solarium went back to his bed chambers to go to bed while the two kept going with their sleepover. The two stayed up all night. In fact, they didn't sleep at all until it was already nightfall the next day. In fact, the night before they were planning on. Heading to Canterlot Castle which is something came up into Luna's mind. "Twilight."
"Yes Luna."
"How are you taking the fact that this is gonna be the very first time you ever met Solarium's and my parents. For first time in your life, the King and Queen of Equestria themselves?"
At hearing this Twilight went rigid. She began doing the same exact thing she did in the kitchen when Luna pulled that prank on her about her being tardy. Seeing this Luna immediately regretted what she said and began trying to fix it. "Now Twilight there is no need for you to worry Solarium and my parents are very nice ponies there is no need to panic."
But it was too late. "No need to panic. It's the perfect time to panic!"
Twilight started making a list of things that could go wrong. But Luna didn't pay attention to what Twilight was saying. Luna began levitating Twilight in within her magic once. Again and ran to her brother's bed chamber since so far. He was the only one who could get her to calm down from this state. Once she made it to Solarium's bed chambers she barged through the door. Only to see that her brother was already in bed. But he quickly rose from his bed, seeing his doors being, opened so quick as they did. "LUNA WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE!!! At this late hour. Why didn't you knock on my door the last time you did this was when…! Twilight's having another panic attack, isn't she?"
"Yes, and I'm so sorry I just asked how she was taking the fact that she was going to meet our parents tomorrow. I tried to calm her down, before she got into the state of panic, but it was too late by the time I caught myself! And since you're the only one who seems to calm her down. So I brought her here as fast as I could."
At hearing this Solarium side. "And you couldn't ask some of your guards to go and get me. And last time the moment I calm her down, she fell asleep! She may do so again! Especially since you two stayed up all night and haven't gone to sleep at all day. Also, it was kind of awkward the last time we both woke up at the same time, and that was on the floor. Imagine how she'll react when she comes to it. She was in my bed."
At hearing this Luna chuckled nervously. "I'm sorry I wasn't thinking at the time."
At that moment Twilight, once again, broke out of Luna's magic and started running around in a frantic frenzy. Until Solarium grabbed her with his magic once more and levitated her towards his bed. Held her tight and stroking her head once more. Eventually Twilight calm down and fell asleep seeing this. Solarium side and place Twilight under his covers. Looked toward his sister giving her a look that was stating. *I'm going to get you back for this.* Seeing that Luna gave one more nervous chuckle. Before rushing back to her bed chambers. Seeing that Luna up ran in such a rush, she had forgotten to close his doors. Solarium used his magic to close them, and went to bed himself. But before Solarium went to bed he whispered something to Twilight. "Good night my love."
~~~ Just before sunrise ~~~
Eventually it was time for Solarium to wake up so he could raise the sun. But when he did so he found himself in awkward situation with Twilight. She somehow ended up wrapping her front four legs around his neck and nuzzled really close to him. Solarium did not know what to do. Sure he could raise the sun right from his bed and go back to sleep. But there was the whole problem about what would happen later on, when the two woke up. Which was more than likely going to be even more awkward than the last time Twilight had a panic attack. So Solarium was debating whether or not he should just wake up Twilight now and get it over with. But as he looked towards her. He just couldn't bear to do so. Because she looked cute, adorable, and beautiful, all wrapped in one package. At that moment and he just didn't have the heart to wake her up. So he channeled his magic from his bed and started raising the sun. Once the sun got to the position as it should be and could go on its course by itself. It allowed him to go back to sleep. He laid his head back down and started to drift off back to sleep. At some point during this, without himself knowing, Solarium began to wrap Twilight with his front four legs, along with his wings to keep her close to him. They stayed like this until Luna knocked on his bedroom door. "Solarium Twilight. It's time for breakfast."
Soon after Luna said this. She opened the door and walked in to see the site before her. She couldn't help but smile at the scene before her. But it started coming to an end. And when the two started to stir and start to wake up Solarium was the first to wake up. He looked towards his sister, without realizing that he was holding Twilight in such a way. That was until Twilight woke up and saw that she was holding Solarium close and that the fact he was doing so it as well. This made Twilight blush and she became torn. A part of her heart wanted to make Solarium aware that she was there. While the other hoof she one of the just want to closed her eyes and snuggled deeper. Unfortunately for Twilight, this did not go unnoticed to Luna. Seeing all this Luna began to chuckle. "Well dear brother. When are you going to release Twilight from your grasp?"
At hearing this Solarium began remembering. What happened last night and around the time he had to raise the sun and started looking towards. Twilight and he began to slowly release her from his grasp and Twilight started doing the same. Which soon after they went off to the dining hall to eat breakfast. As soon as they were, done they went their own separate ways. Once Twilight made it to Luna's bed chambers. She quickly went into the bathroom to get herself cleaned up. Since she didn't have a chance to bathe before hoof. Once she was, done with her hygiene she began to levitate her present as did Luna, and they began heading off to the chariot that would transport them to Canterlot Castle. Solarium and Stars swirl were already inside the carriage. Luna and Twilight allowed the Castle staff to put all the presents with the others. Except Twilight did allow them to take the one that was made for Solarium, saying that it was too delicate to risk it. So she brought it in the carriage with them. They soon reached Canterlot Castle where Queen Cosmos and King Artemis waited for them. The two were very eager to meet Twilight and once the carriage landed, the four got off and Artemis was the first to speak. "Welcome, I hope your trip here was pleasant, and this must be Twilight, it's a pleasure to meet you."
At hearing this Twilight out her head for with respect at the two. "It's a pleasure to meet you too. As well, your Majesty's."
