As the rest of the element bearers, Spike and Twilight's family followed Luna. Just then Fluttershy just thought of something. "Um Princess Luna how long did Solarium and Twilight date each other before he popped the wedding question to her?"


At hearing this, everyone look towards Luna for the answer. Which they were quite surprised that Cadance didn't even bother to ask this question. "Oh, they dated for three years before Solarium asked Twilight to marry him."


At hearing that they all nodded their heads and continued following Luna to the sleeping quarters they would use during their stay.

~~~ And now: Back in the past... ~~~

Artemis, and Solarium just got back from talking to the Royal Council that resulted in a agreement permitting them to have the wedding and got all the written documents and and anything else. They needed to make the Council happy to oblige. Which took until supper time. So the two were heading toward the dining room. Which was, interrupted when Twilight rushed over to them were all yelling out. "HIDE ME!" And went right behind them.


At this, the two stallions were very confused that was until Cosmos and Luna appeared. "Oh, hello darling and Solarium have you seen Twilight? We still have so many things to talk about, the wedding."


Artemis and Solarium looked at each other then back to Cosmos and Luna. Which the two mares look like they ate so much sugar that the two were ready to do a marathon. Worried for Twilight well-being Solarium decided to buy on her whereabouts. "Yes a saw her starting to head towards Luna's bed chambers."


And with that the two mares left. As soon as they looked like the coast was clear. Twilight stopped hiding behind Solarium and Artemis. "Thanks, they've been going at it for some time."


Artemis was a bit concerned on what was going on. "That's all right, but what is going on?"


At hearing this Twilight side. "As soon as we made it to Luna's bed chambers they started talking about the wedding. At first I was fine with it. But then they started going every which way about it, and they wouldn't even let me speak my mind about any of it! As if I was a little kid, not knowing what the wedding was about. I helped plan a while wedding before for relative of mine wedding in my timeframe. So I know what to do and such. While the first things you need to do was pick out a day. Then you have to figure out who you are inviting then you to figure out who's doing the catering. Then the location of the wedding figure out the bridesmaids, groomsmen the mare of honor. Decide whether or not you're going to have flower girls are ring boy. Figure out where the reception would be pick on a wedding dress. Pick out who's in charge of the music and then other little odds and ends. This is normally decisions that the bride and groom need to do. I am happy that they want to help, but shouldn't Solarium and I have a say in the matter?"


At hearing this, the two stallions gave her apologetic looks. Before Artemis decided to speak the more. "You're right, and will bring it up to them later. Right now. We should start heading to the dining Hall. I'm pretty sure you must be starving from running away from those two for some time."


And with that, the three headed to the arts the dining room. They made it to the dining room and sat down and not long after them. Luna and Cosmos made it in before either one of the two could say a word King Artemis stepped. "Cosmos Luna. I know you two are, excited but it's supper time and I don't think Twilight wants to talk about the wedding. Since neither one of you allowed her have her say on the matter. Besides, you two should help her plan the wedding, not take over the plans for the wedding. While Solarium and I did that little errand."


At hearing this Cosmos and Luna remorseful looks while Twilight gave out a confused look. "What errand did you and Solarium have to do?"


At this, the two stallions looked of old it all bit worried. "Well, you see, we knew the Council may be would be a little bit unhappy with you and Solarium getting married with you. Not using your full real name, but they know about your situation so they may have made a compromise; when you do return back to your time you will have another wedding. Meaning you remarry with Solarium."


Everyone was expecting her to freak out, but she looked calm. "Wow your time frame councils are more negotiable then my timeframe. I'm impressed."


At that moment all the Royal family's mouths were agape at what they just heard. Before looking at each other and began to laugh and continue on with their supper. As soon as they were done, Solarium asked Twilight is he could speak with her alone. She happily agreed and the two headed off to his private study. As soon as the two got in there Solarium data what was on his mind. "I'm sorry if my mother and Luna when they were a bit much."


"It okay, I understand completely. Although there is one thing about the catering we need a talk of about. Since it's probably not popular in your time."


At hearing this Solarium gave her a puzzled look. "What could be so important about the catering in your time that we would need to discuss?"


"Nothing much just the wedding cake."


At hearing this Solarium looked at her, trying to see if she was joking or not. "Wedding cake?"


Twilight nodded her head. "Right, since you didn't know what cake was when you took me to that café. Around the time I first got here, it's probably a safe bet that wedding cakes are not normally done in the time. But in my time it's a tradition for the bride and groom to cut the first slice of cake at the wedding reception."


At hearing this Solarium chuckled. He didn't know that something like that would become a wedding tradition in the future. But he liked the idea since it meant that there would always be cake at wedding receptions. Which made it all the more appealing to go to now that he had something to look forward to. "Really?"


At hearing what Solarium said, and the look in his eye Twilight knew that he liked this tradition. "Yes really normally the cake is, covered in white frosting. With maybe some pink, blue, purple flowers on it, and I mean the flowers are, made of icing. The flavor of the cake itself can be whatever the bride and groom chooses which is something we need to discuss. Also, how many layers of cake is dependent on how many guests will have."


At hearing the layers. Part Solarium looked puzzled. "Layers?"


At hearing this Twilight chuckled. "You see the bottom layer would be the biggest of the cake layers. Then the second-biggest would be on top of that, and the third. Than the so on and so on until you make it to the top, but they give cake I ever saw was at 10 layer cake."


At hearing this Solarium began to drool just imagining the size of that cake. Which Twilight saw this and hit him on his shoulder. "Ouch what was that for?"


"I need you to focus we need to decide on what flavor. Do you want vanilla, chocolate, marble, which is chocolate and vanilla together. Do you want dark chocolate, do you want strawberry? Do you want lemon do you want pumpkin? Do you want chary cake or pick more than one flavor? And figure out which flavored this stack on top of what other flavor?"


At hearing some of the choices Solarium wanted to drool some more. But became worried that he would get another hit on his shoulder. So he decided it to focus more on decision-making. "Well why not go with for flavors. The bottom line being dark chocolate than the one above it required chocolate. Then, marble then finally vanilla and we keep redoing this pattern on till we have all the layers we need."


Twilight thought about this for a moment and nodded her head in agreement. "All right, that sounds like a plan. We'd just need to figure out how many ponies we are going to invite before we can decide how many layers for the cake. So where do you want the wedding to be, held?"


Solarium thought about this for a moment. "I seeing it would be best to have the wedding in Canterlot. Since there are very few ponies that would dare enter the Everfree forest."


"All right, we got that taken care of we'd just need to decide if the catering will be done by your parents cooks, or hire someone else to do it and where the reception will be held and many others."
