The second scenario seemed more obvious somehow someway: She went back in time, And Princess Celestia had a big secret from her and everyone else in Equestria of her time.
That the secret was she was really a he and been lying to her. Her whole entire life on Princess Celestia's gender. Which was confusing and heartbreaking to her. The reason why it was so heartbreaking was the fact that. She's been lying to her for her whole life. Confusing because she did not know why Solarium was pretending to be Celestia in the first place. At the moment. She only could say one thing out loud at the moment. "BY THE SHINING STARS THAT GEM SET ME BACK IN TIME!"

At hearing this. Everyone started staring at her Prince Solarium was shocked at hearing this. He didn't even think of time travel. But then again she did say that the forest seemed a lot younger to her. And maybe the reason why her coloration's was changed was so that he wouldn't know who she would be in the future, which meant it would be best that he did not know what her real last part of her name. This made him upset thinking about it. Princess Luna was shocked at hearing time travel as well. But she was also quite pleased to hear somebody brought up her night normally she would hear: "By Solarium's sun" or "By Solarium's beard" or something like that. It was quite pleasant that someone would use her stars as a reference instead of her brother. At that moment Luna already like Twilight and wanted to help her out anyway she can. Now to be honest Twilight wanted to say. "By Celestia sun and Luna's moon she is now in the past." but the fact that Celestia is now a he it wouldn't be best to use that saying at the moment. Just then Solarium cleared his throat before talking. "Well now we know what that gem did and why it changed your coloration's and cutie Mark. It must have sent you back in time and for some reason it did not want your future identity to be known by others. Like if my sister and. I were for instance more than likely to would recognize you in the future. If we knew who you fully were and might try to stop you from going back in time. So it probably would be best if you don't tell me your last part of your name miss Twilight. If you would like you can just switch your last part of name to something else for now and will just go by that."
Twilight thought about it for moment before answering. "Shimmer, you can call me Twilight Shimmer for now."
At hearing this Prince Solarium nodded his head before looking toward his sister. "Luna since she is from another time, Which at the moment before we got here. We thought she was from another dimension. But now we know she is instead from a different time, she has no place to stay. So I offered her a place to stay at the Castle is it alright with you, if she stayed with us for now?"
At hearing this Luna was overjoyed. She was already starting to like this mare already but she has to do her best to behave like a Princess should. She just gave a warm smile and nodded her head. "That sounds like a splendid idea. In fact, she can stay with me in my room."
At hearing this Twilight ear began perk up. "You mean like a sleepover?"
At hearing this. Both the Prince Princess and the Royal guards were puzzled. Wondering what a sleepover could be? Luna was the first one to be brave enough to ask. "I'm sorry but we do not know what you speak of tell us what is this sleepover you speak of?"
At hearing this Twilight began to blush. She knew that the whole reason why Luna became Nightmare Moon. Was because she thought no one really appreciated her night. But she thought ponies would at least do sleepover now and then in this time. So she began chuckling nervously before answering the question. "Sorry, about that I guess ponies are not a big fan of sleepovers yet. Well a sleepover is when a group of friends go to one of their friend's home. Or vice versa and try to stay up as late as they can at night how late they stay up varies by different circumstances. Sometimes the group of friends they stay up an hour or two later than normal. Sometimes the group of friends stay up until the sun rises, and what you do at sleepover varies by the theme or what type of group of friends you have most of the time. One of them which is the only kind I'm used to is an all-girls sleepover. But guys do sleepover as well. I don't really know what they do. Sometimes they are sleepovers where both genders are together at the same place at the same time. But normally at a girl sleepover we eat a bunch of junk food. Play games like play truth or dare, have pillow fights, tell scary stories, perform makeovers, talk about life and about boys we think are cute, and do other things we can think up that we can do for the night. The only thing I know that one of the two other sleepovers do which is when it's a mixed gender sleepover. They play a game called spin the bottle, Which is where a pony spins the bottle that the groups using. And who ever the bottle lands on pony that spin the bottle has to kiss that pony. That's basically what a sleepover is all about."
At hearing this, both Prince Solarium, and the Royal guards, were tempted to blush at that moment. At first the only reason why they wanted to blush. Was learning the fact that at a sleepover girls talk about what boys they think that are cute. For the guards they were thinking about a bunch of the mares that they are interested in. Wondering if they would talk about them in some way if they had the chance. But for Prince Solarium. He was wondering if Twilight would think of him as cute, which he had no idea why he was thinking like that. But the second reason. Which was the biggest reason why they wish to but yet didn't. Was the whole spin the bottle game. Both the Prince and the Royal guards were thinking that who ever invented the spin the bottle was a genius: Because if you played your cards just right. You could end up kissing the mare that you really like or many mares that you like and you wouldn't get in trouble for it. But the only downer is there could be a chance that you end up kissing someone you didn't like.
Meanwhile, Luna's mind was racing. Her mind was racing because if there was something called a sleepover in Twilight's time, Which is some sort of get together at night. Then what other amazing thing do ponies do at night, in the timeframe Twilight came from. Luna was thrilled hearing all this, and she hoped to hear more about how ponies enjoy her night in the future. Prince Solarium finally reeled himself in and cleared his throat. "As much fun that sounds that you too could have I would recommend you don't do that every night. Since we do not know how long you'll be stuck here in this time. It could be a day or two it could be weeks months maybe a year or two or more. So we wouldn't want you the two of you to be worn out every day now do we?"
At hearing this Twilight nodded her head in response agreeing to what he's just said, while Luna was not all that thrilled that her brother had to rain on her parade so soon. But nodded her head as well in agreement anyways. At seeing this Prince Solarium smiled and started heading to the Castle. "Now that we got that settled Luna, why don't you show her to your room. I need to go find Star Swirl and see if he knows anything that can help miss Twilight out with her predicament."
Add hearing Star Swirl's name Twilight beamed."Star Swirl as in Star Swirl the Bearded?"
Prince Solarium paused, turned back to Twilight before he nodded his head. "Yes. That's who I was talking about."
At hearing this Twilight began to squeal which all the males began to panic. Thinking that something was nearby and was about to attack them. Meanwhile, Luna knew exactly what was going on, Since she saw many mares. Behave like this whenever they started talking about her brother when he was not around. She knew for a fact that Twilight was going all fan girl at the moment. "I don't believe it I've read all his books that my mentor allowed me to read. I can't believe I'm in the same timeframe as Star Swirl."
At hearing this. The Royal guards began to calm down while Princess Luna began rolling her eyes thinking in her head. (Great a mini girl version of my brother when it comes to Star Swirl just what I need.) While Prince Solarium was for some strange reason, Feeling a little jealous at his mentor and friend. From seeing how Twilight was reacting to his mentor's name. But then he started wondering why he was getting jealous in the first place. It was not like he was starting to develop feelings for Ms. Twilight or anything right? He cleared his throat once more before speaking. "I can tell with your excitement that you really are a big fan of him. And you more than likely would like to meet him right away. But I should tell him about you first. Before you to meet him so then you don't get him overwhelmed with your excitement."
At hearing this Twilight stopped what she was doing. Nodded her head in agreement. Soon everyone went in their own separate ways. Twilight and Luna heading to their sleeping quarters, While Prince Solarium went off to go see his mentor.

In the meantime. Back in Twilight's original timeframe. Princess Celestia finally got the letter from Spike. She began to read it by the time she got done reading the letter Celestia was utterly terrified. For she remembered hearing the description of that gem. That Spike had mentioned in the letter once before. But the last time she heard of it things did not all that well. Knowing this she began running with the letter still held in her magic to her sister's bed chambers, Once she got there. The only thing Celestia could do was slam open the door and scream one word out. "LUNA!!!"
This of course startled Luna, Which caused her to fall off the bed. Luna looked up to her sister which Celestia had already closed the doors. And looked like she put a soundproof spell in the room. Something was up and Luna was not looking forward to hearing what ever Celestia had to say. "Yes Celestia what is it."
Just as soon as Luna said this Celestia began to cry. "It happened I should've known the two were one of the same, but yet I didn't. It has happened yet again her fate has been sealed."
At hearing this Luna began to ponder what her sister could mean. Looking back at her vast memories which some were still fuzzy from back when she was Nightmare Moon. But at the moment. She didn't have enough info to relay old memories from way back. That could help her understand what's going on. "Sorry, Celestia, but I do not follow can you give out some more detail."
Celestia was starting to get frustrated at the moment and answer for her sister. "TWILIGHT she's gone I lost her then, and I lost her now. I didn't realize the two were one and the same. I should've known the two are so much alike. But I kept thinking that maybe just maybe Twilight Shimmer was Twilight Sparkle's granddaughter. Not that the two were one and the same I should've known now that gem has taken her back in time and she is doomed!"
At hearing this. Memories began to flood in Luna's head. From the moment she first met Twilight Shimmer to the last moments of the young Alicorn mare. Those last memories shook Luna to the core. "Oh sister, you and I both know that we don't fully know what happened at that moment for all we know. Whatever happened just took Twilight away from the past and brought her back to our time. You can't just assume that..."
But before Luna could finish what she wanted to say Celestia, but it in and with pure rage. "That's spell that that unicorn hit Twilight with was meant to kill me Luna so unless somehow she reappears in this timeframe. I'm going to assume that Twilight is as good as dead. You know that her death was the whole reason why I stopped being Prince Solarium. Turning myself into Princess Celestia in the first place."
At hearing this Luna shook her head and sighed before speaking once more. "Solarium I know that what happened in the past had really hurt you back then. But at the moment we have to at least try to see if we can bring her back to our time. There's still a good chance that she survived that spell, and was brought back to our time safe and sound. We can't just say that she dead and leave it at that. We have to at least look at that gem and see what we can do."
At hearing this Celestia began to calm down. Although she was not all that thrilled that her sister called her by her former name but she sighed in defeat. "You're right, but at the moment. I just don't have it in me to go anywhere near the gem that has taken her away from me. Would you mind going on ahead to Twilight's Castle. And try to see if you can do something with the gem if you run out of ideas before I come under my own free will, just come, get me, snd drag me to Twilight's Castle or something. I just really need to clear my head before I go anywhere near that gem. I might do something I may regret to it if I go anywhere near it at the moment."
At hearing this Luna gave her a sympathetic look. "Of course Solarium I completely understand what you're going through at the moment. I'll go on ahead. But if I start getting irritated by that gem. I'll come for you right away and drag your sorry flank to Twilight's Castle. Whether you're ready or not got it."
At this Celestia nodded her head in agreement. And Luna left her quarters to head to Ponyville to try to see if she could undo the gem's spell, and bring Twilight home. Soon after Luna left, Celestia looked out the window and whispered something softly. "Oh please Twilight be safe. Please let me be wrong on the ideas that you died all those years ago. And that you just came back to me in this timeframe, Please Twilight... Please."
