~~~ Last Time ~~~

"It's the most delicious thing I ever had. Sure I like a good pie, tarts or cookies and such, but of all the sweets... I'm going to have to say cake is my favorite."


Some of the nobles heard Solarium say that. So they began ordering cake as well. This caused a chain reaction. After the two Alicorn's were done eating cake. The two decided to walk around the city and look around.

At some point they made it to a park where a mare was selling flowers. Solarium remembered what Luna had told him about flowers. So he went up to go sales pony and bought a White Lily and gave it to Twilight. Which she took with of smile, but the flower itself caused her to think about a lot of things. (Solarium, buying me the flour was so sweet. Wait what this feeling in my chest. I've only felt this way, with Flash Sentry and yet it feels different. As if it more right like Flash was just a silly crush and this is the real deal. Oh no, I thought I decided not to think about this until I returned to my own time. What will I do if should I fall for him. I can't stay in the time frame because I know for a fact that there is not two of me in my time, when am I going to do!?)


"Thank you Solarium. It's very lovely."


Seeing Twilight smiled again made Solarium all warm inside once more. "You're welcome."


Just then he realized it was time for him to lower, the sun, so his sister can raise the moon. "I'm sorry but even though I don't have court duties. I still have to raise and lower the sun. And it's time for me to do so. Do you mind if we find a secluded area for me to do so?"


"Not all. In fact, I've seen you raise and lower the sun. Numerous times though it's fine by me."


The two continued to walk in the park until they found a spot where no one was nearby so Solarium began to lower the sun. Soon afterwards the moon began to rise. Just then Solarium decide to look towards Twilight. Only to see that she was breathtaking at that moment the light of the moon gave her a unique glow. That made her look radiant while fireflies began to dance around Twilight. Just seeing her like this, and made him want to kiss her, but he restrained himself from doing so. "We should start heading back to the Castle."


Twilight turned towards them, which made them even more tempted to kiss her, since her eyes looked like shimmering stars at that moment. "Okay, but you're going to have to lead the way, since I don't know the park as well as you do."


"Right this way."


Solarium took the long way out of the park and they eventually. They made it back to the Castle where Luna was waiting for them at the entrance. "Greetings, you two how was your day?"


"It was pleasant, although I think I got your brother addicted to cake?" Twilight replied.


Add hearing this Luna gave out a puzzled look. "Solarium you haven't had cake before until today, it only started being made a month ago. One of the Castle staff offered it to us. Even though in your defense we were in Canterlot filling in for our parents and you were busy at the time."


At hearing this Solarium blushed. "Well, I like cake. Now anyways. It's time for supper so we should start heading to the dining Hall, shall we?"


Luna and Twilight nodded their heads and everyone made it to the dining Hall and ate their supper. Soon after everyone parted their ways and headed back to their chambers. As soon as Twilight and Luna made it to bears Luna told the door. As quick as she could and turned towards Twilight. "Okay spill how was your day?"


"Well, we first went to the bookstore then we went to a small café where. Solarium tried his first cake then we walked around eventually made it to the Park. He bought me Lily. Then he lowered the sun you lowered the moment we walked back and that was it."


Luna froze. She was wondering if Twilight was a very oblivious mare when it came to romance. Or if she was just pretending that what happened today with nothing special. But she was not gonna give up without a fight. "So nothing in particular happened today nothing special?"


At hearing this Twilight sighed. "Look, I don't really want to talk about it okay. The more I think about the date the more my feeling get more jumbled up. I'm still trying to get used to the fact that Princess Celestia, is really Prince Solarium. In my time I see Celestia completely differently than I do with Solarium, and yet I still regard the two with the same because there still so many similarities between the two. In the end it's just confusing. I was thinking about just keeping these thoughts to myself until I get back to my time so can you please just drop it."


At hearing this Luna understood completely what Twilight meant and decided to drop the topic for now, so she nodded her head in defeat. "Good look. It's been a long day. So I'm going to bed. Good night Luna."


"Good night Twilight."


As soon as Twilight fell asleep. Luna left their shared chambers to head to her brother's. When she reached Solarium's chambers she knocked on the door and Solarium opened it for her. "Good evening dear sister. Please come in."


"Thank you."


Luna walked in and Solarium close the door. Soon after Luna turn to her brother. "Your gestures are doing the trick brother. But yet Twilight is, determined to keep her feelings to herself until she returns to her time. Unless you want to wait for your first real date as each others special some pony's to be in her time, you're going to have to do something big win her over."


Solarium sighed at hearing this. "That bad huh? Well I've thought of something that might change her mind."


At hearing this Luna's Ears perked up. "Really, what are you up to?"


Solarium chuckled. "I'm sorry dear sister. But I wanted to be a surprise, and I do not need you to accidentally tell her. All I will say is it's going to take me a few months to make it and don't worry, it's not a love potion."


At hearing this Luna giggled. "Oh, how sweet my big brother is making something! I can't wait to see what you make." In a sing song voice.


Solarium just rolled his eyes. "Okay, you had your fun now off you go. I have to start working on that project of mine."


At hearing this Luna chuckled. "Alright see you in the morning dear brother."

This went on for months. Solarium trying the win Twilight's heart. Which a lot of times had Solarium buying books that he thought Twilight would like. Luna trying to help out in anyone in anyway she can. Meanwhile, Star Swirl was trying to figure out the best way to send Twilight back home to her time. All the while Twilight feelings and emotions towards Solarium kept getting more and more confusing for her and she didn't know what to do about said feelings. Eventually Hearth's Warming was drawing near. In fact, there was only a week left and Luna was back in her brother's bed chambers. Discussing something of great opportunity to him. At least what is great opportunity for Solarium that is…


"I hate to say this Solarium, but you're going to have to tell mom and dad about Twilight, if you don't and they figure it out on their own, they are going to do something that all of you are going to regret. Besides, you can't just leave Twilight. All alone on Hearth's Warming. She hasn't made any real friends in this timeframe since she got here. And let me tell you she has tried but it just not working out. Besides Hearth's Warming can be very romantic. If you play your cards right, so you have to bring her with. So my suggestion is you go over to Canterlot Castle tell mom and dad the situation. Then make him promise that they won't 'butt in'."


Add hearing this Solarium sighed. Even though he tried to win Twilight's heart before she ever meet his parents. He knew that Luna was right, and time was just not on his side at the moment. So it was best to let them know now, then giving them a surprise of their lives. This would also prevent their parents embarrassing him by trying to play matchmaker. "You're right. In fact, I'll leave right now. Father's more than likely awake and can help wake up mom when I get there. If I'm not back in the morning tell Twilight that I had to do some errands today are something."


"All right, I will dear brother and I bid you good night."


And with that Solarium used a teleportation spell and teleported to their parents Castle. In fact, he teleported in the throne room right in front of his father, King Artemis. He was of bit taller than Solarium with of purple-ish black coat that made him darker than Luna's. His mane and tail was the night sky with light purple eyes. His father. Upon seeing him, smiled and said "Ah Solarium what a pleasant surprise. Did you come here to ask for suggestions on Hearth's Warming presents for your mother?"


"Not quite father, I need to speak with both you and mother its kind of important."


At hearing this, Artemis frowned, thinking that the kingdom was in danger or something. "Very well, your mother's, and our bed chambers. Follow me."


Solarium nodded his head and followed his father to his parents Private bed chambers where Artemis knocked on the door. "Cosmos sweetie. You need to wake-up, our son came to visit and he needs to speak to both of us. "


As soon as Artemis said that the door opened and the two walked in to see Cosmos laying on the bed. "Solarium. It's such a pleasure to see what you told my little colt doing?"


"I'm doing fine mother, but there's something I need to tell you and father about."


"What is it, my son?"


Solarium took a deep breath, and let it out slowly before he began to explain. "You see some time ago. A Alicorn mare from the future fell into our time by some sort of magical gem that we can't find. It also changed her coloration's and even her cutie Mark. Star Swirl is trying to figure out a way to send her back to her time, and she's been staying with me and Luna. But that's not the whole reason why I came here."


Solarium stopped at this point to let his parents soak in what he'd just said. All the while his parents looked at each other shocked that something like this could happen without them knowing. But then turned back to their son. Cosmos was the first to speak. "Go on."


"Anyways, the reason why I am here is to tell you that I've fallen it in love with her. Pretty much right at the moment when I first laid eyes on her. I'm trying to win her heart and Luna's helping me to some extent by getting her to talk about me. But her feelings are very confused at the moment and the fact she is from the future. She's not all that sure she really wants to even go out with me so she is trying to hold back her feelings around me."


At hearing this Cosmos and Artemis being with happiness Cosmos was the first one to speak. "Oh my little boy is all grown up you found his Alicorn soulmate, what's her name what she like? I can't wait to meet her."


"That's my boy and don't worry, your mother and I will help you anyway we can to help you win her heart over. Now what should we try first?"


At hearing this Solarium gave a pained look. "This is why I came here today. To ask you to not to try to do anything that would make her feel pressured. To go out with me or any of that. She is very confused and if we are going to become a couple. We need to do this on our own terms not you to pestering in."


At hearing this Cosmos and Artemis stopped what they were doing, and looked at their son. Thinking about what he had just told them. They also thought about it in both Solarium's shoes and the mare in question. Realizing that if either one of them tried anything to help out. It would more likely do more harm than good. Artemis was the first to speak on this matter. "I understand what you're saying Solarium. If it is all right your mother and I will try to stay out of this. But please at least give us her name? So that we can write her name on her Hearth's Warming present one week get it for her."


"Well, because of her coloration change we'd decided that she should not give us her full name. So only her first part of her name is her real name. The second part she made up for us to go by so her name is Twilight Shimmer Twilight for short."


At hearing this Cosmos smiled. "Twilight, that's a beautiful name I can't wait to meet her."


At hearing this Solarium nodded his head. "Thank you mother and to you as well father. Now I must be going. No one really knows that I came here except for Luna and I still need to finish the final touches on Twilight's present."


At hearing this Solarium's parents perked up. "So you're making a present for her. What might that be?"


"All I am going to say is. Do you remember that one you taught me when I got really frustrated back when I was 10 years old. I'm using that spell to make her something she really would like."


At hearing this Artemis and Cosmos knew what he was talking up about. But didn't want to press any farther on the matter, and had a good idea what to get Twilight for Hearth's Warming. Though the two nodded their heads and the three at each other, before Solarium teleported back to his room in the Everfree Castle.

The night before Solarium went to work on the present for Twilight. He'd bought all the other presidents for his family and his friend. But for Twilight he was still working on the gift he mentioned to Luna on the day he first tried cake. He was almost done he just needed the place the finishing touches on the gift anyways. Soon he was, done with the gift wrapped it up and placed it with the other presents and went to bed.
