Starburst, the daughter of Princess Twilight Sparkle and Prince Flash Sentry, has about all she could ask from life: loving parents, her Little Brother Best Friend Forever, and despite her seriousness and disciplined mentality, she has group of friends close as family. She also has an ambitious goal in life: she wants to be the first mare ever to become the Captain of the Royal Guard, which she's been preparing herself for since she was a little filly.

So... what would happen if she were to meet a pony that is an exact opposite of her?

Golden Delicious has always known his friend Starburst as a mare who enjoys pushing herself beyond her limits. For years, she's worked herself to exhaustion on her visits to Sweet Apple Acres, and for years, he's tolerated it with a smile. What used to be incidents that scared him half to death are now a part of his routine: he and Starburst will work, Starburst will faint from exhaustion, he'll carry her back to the farmhouse, he'll tell her the dangers of overexerting herself, and she'll kindly dismiss his advice and just do it all over again. It's a tiring and endless circle, but he's more than happy to go through it again and again, always being there to take care of her when she's "burnt out."

He's just not sure why.

Prism Bolt is a big, strong and crazy fast pegasus and there was no pony that could stand against him.

However, his friend Starburst had always intimidated him with her alicorn wings. He figured that she would be the perfect challenger to prove who was the fastest after his mother.

Following an Anti-Superhero Act, all super-ponies have been forced into retirement and the Power Ponies have been disbanded. Eventually moving on and starting families of their own.

However, one fateful day the former Power Ponies get a distress call from an old ally to help out a high-tech facility gone wrong. Soon they are captured and discover a government conspiracy to rid the world of all super-ponies in an attempt to completely dominating the planet!

Now their only hope left for the world rests in the hooves of their children.

But, when their parents go missing, can this rag-tag group of youngsters save their parents and Equestria in a far away land?

Starburst loves her life in Ponyville. She has good friends, a farm to train on, and dreams to achieve. Love never truly crossed her mind, but when her older cousin, best friend and crowned princess of the Crystal Empire, who, though born a pegasus, can't fly, comes to visit her in Ponyville with a request, will the princess of love and true feelings open Star's eyes to whats been in front of her all along? Will she, herself find love? A sweet love story about being true to yourself and not taking no for an answer.

Everybody knows the story of Twilight Sparkle and her friends, from the time they got the Elements of Harmony, to the point where they co-founded the first Council of Harmony.

But every story must end, and every ending is a beginning, and this beginning is for their children. This is the story of the first great adventure of Starburst, Prism Bolt, Anthea, Turquoise Blitz, Crystal Clarity, Golden Delicious and Cotton Candy, as they embark on a journey to save Equestria from a new threat!
