Nightmare Moon sits the Equestrian throne from her castle in the City of Everfree. From there, her rule is undisputed and unshakable. Ponies tremble beneath her, both for her wrath and necessity, her magic all that is keeping the tidally locked world alive. With one side facing away from her sister's hated sun, and the other obscured in a veil of shadow blocking almost all light, by her grace alone does enough warmth peek through that Equus and its peoples might yet live.

It is a reign of terror. Of fear. Absolute and unmoved.

One thousand years ago Princess Celestia was forced to banish Nightmare Moon to the moon to save all of Equestria, but what if Luna had been hiding something from her sister, scared of how she would react? When Luna had no other choice, she cried out for Celestia and Celestia came. For one thousand years, Luna wondered what happened when Celestia left; now she's finding out...

But is it already too late, or will Luna be able to take the role she had so long dreamed of? The dream of being a mother?

Starburst, daughter of Twilight Sparkle and Flash Sentry, has always wanted to be a Royal Guard. Training everyday, working hard to make her dream come true. But when war is threatened on Equestria, Starburst fights for the safety of her home and country. But soon, she will realize that her strength alone will not be enough. Poor Starburst is in need of power, the power to protect her family and friends, the power to defend her homeland, the power to instill fear in the hearts of her enemies!

Little did she know, that that very power would seek her out. But when she obtains it, how will it affect the rest of her life, her relationships with her parents, her little brother, and her friends? But more importantly, will she become the hero Equestria needs or become an even greater threat than anyone could've possibly imagined?

Character Bio: Starburst

Yeah, after looking at kilala97's stuff I finally caved and decided to try and write a story about her OC characters. Since Starburst's special talent is "intimidation", I thought: "Why the hell not, make that mare a Fear Lantern!" and so here we are.

After a bad crash, Whirlwind needs her wing bandaged. Just so happens that her best friends/ex boyfriend happens to be with her.

A surprise storm shatters reality for several hundred young college students. Follow the actions of the members of a small, but dedicated group of people as they strive, compromise, and sacrifice in the name of survival and hopefully, a nonviolence truce with those whose nation they have entered.

It's boring being cooped up in the castle all day. So when Illusion, Nidra, and Valiant try to find something to do, they end up creating lots of delicious chaos. And get grounded, of course, because pranking Starburst and causing her to run around the castle in a panic tends to get ponies mad at you.

Illusion, Nidra, Valiant, and Starburst are all young, with Starburst no older than six years old, and her cousin's aged appropriately.

We're all familiar with siblings fighting each other, where a family's bond can be broken. Nighty dances alone in his room to have some private time all to himself, that is all cast aside when his older sister watches him dance. Entering someone's room is one thing, but when you catch them dancing moves that they find embarrassing, what is a big sister suppose to do?
