Nick has lived with the royal sisters since he appeared in Equestria with no way home three years ago. In that time he made friends and gained the trust and respect of most, if not all of Canterlot Castle. He even has access to the treasury and minor command over some staff, but only for one reason: pranks.

Nick is one of the few souls capable of matching Celestia and Luna in pranks, and has been semi-willingly inducted into their endless prank war. These are some of their memorable moments.

Celestia and Luna announce their retirement and their plans to turn the throne and power over Equestria to the mane 6. Unfortunately, this is the last straw for Twilight, and she goes off on a rant about why this isn't a good idea.

What confuses her is that it's of something she didn't think she was actually afraid of.

Sight See hasn't always been an admin assistant in some inter-dimensional embassy. Unlike his benign work these days, his first visit to Equestria as a college intern went off the rails and out of his comfort zone. However, it got him to where he was today.

So he tells the story of how he didn't die during his Equestrian internship.

(A one shot idea based on this beautiful comic, takes place in an AU post Season 8 due to (Spoiler Alert!) the Season Nine trailer revealing the Tree of Harmony will be destroyed.)

Twilight Sparkle thinks she knows everything there is know about the Tree of Harmony and the map within the castle that it spawned. So she is surprised when the map calls her alone to the Tree of Harmony's location.

It is there that the Tree of Harmony reveals a secret known only to Twilight's students, it has taken on a physical form and gained sentience. Taking the form of Twilight herself, the tree wishes to talk with the young princess about many details.

Much will be revealed as the Tree of Harmony shares in its experiences, and Twilight will be left with a sense of perspective, both on the tree's role and the role friendship plays in promoting harmony throughout the world.
