You run into a pony who seems to be the 'Debbie Downer' of Ponyville. A feeling deep in your chest decides to make her day a bit better. What you find changes everything you know about cutie marks and your perspective on ponies.

Prickle didn't ask to become so strong, but it just happened. Now, as a growing foal, she's mightier than many grown stallions. What's an earth-filly to do? She tries her best to move forward and not draw attention to her supernatural strength.

So I got in a car crash and the hospital put me under for surgery. The next thing I know, I wake up as a small pony with wings. And I can't see. And it's freaking cold up here.

At least I've still got my smokes.

A short story I wrote for an /mlp/ thread waaay back about "doing loving things to your waifu/horsebando". Unfortunately, since my particular art-skill-level makes stick figures look like Da Vinci masterpieces, I decided to try writing out a few stories instead. While watching over the land of Equestria during the night, Luna hears the mind, and heart of a young child. She enters into the child's dream, only to find that he is being abused by his own parents. She chases away his fears, and decides to take him with her to Equestria.

She sees the pain the little boy is in, and decides to protect him from anymore harm, becoming the caretaker/mother of the helpless human. How would the Princess of the Sun and Luna's sister, Princess Celestia react after discovering the child? How will the many other ponies of Equestria react to an unknown creature in their home?
