Chapter Fourteen
While Princess Luna trotted down the hall toward the ballroom, she couldn’t help but snicker to herself, because she was about to adopt the young human child who touched her heart so profoundly in such a short amount of time. She looked behind to see Timmy sitting, but he looked a little off than usual. He had his head turned to the side and it appeared to her that he was looking off into the distance.
Looking at him worriedly, she stopped trotting and spoke to him softly “Timmy dear, is something the matter?” She carefully reached up with a hoof to rub at his hand on her side.
Timmy was snapped out of his gaze and shook his head softly “Oh, no Miss Luna, I’m okay. I’m still just a little tired.” He gave a reassuring smile, but deep down his heart was broken. He didn’t know what to think at the moment, because he liked Princess Luna and everypony, but that letter struck fear into him.
Luna gave a warm smile “Okay sweetheart, but if there is anything that is on your mind, don’t you be afraid to speak to me, alright?” He gave a soft nod “Good, now Timmy, I would like for you to close your eyes for a little bit, okay?”
“Yes Ma’am.” He closed his eyes as asked I wonder why she wants me to close my eyes. What if she is planning to hurt me or something like Mister Blueblood says in the letter? He tried to keep his mind at ease while he felt her trot along the hallway. He felt her come to an abrupt yet gentle stop.
“Okay Timmy, open your eyes my dear.” A gleeful grin spread across Luna’s muzzle as she turned her head back to the child. He nodded and opened his eyes slowly.
“SURPRISE!” A collected and joyous yell escaped the lips of ballroom’s occupants. Before the princess of the night and the little boy stood the Elements of Harmony, Princess Celestia, and three new ponies who Timmy haven’t met. They were younger than the others,around his age it appeared or a tad older.
Luna turned toward the child to see his mouth agape with awe and looking at her with a curious look. She gave him a warm smile “Timmy my dear, this celebration is for you and… well, I want to ask you something, and the decision is up to you, okay?” She crouched down to let him climb off her back.
When he did, he looked at her and nodded “Yes Ma’am, what is it?” A light smile mixed with curiosity and wonder crept across his face.
Luna sat back on her haunches and gently laid a foreleg over his shoulders. She pulls him to him and rubbed along his side “Timmy dear, do you remember the night I rescued you from that bad dream where your parents were hurting you?” He looked up at her and quietly nodded “Well, I promised you that I won’t ever let anything bad happen to you ever again, and I meant every word I spoke..” She gazed down at him with tears in her eyes, but with a warm smile on her muzzle.
He looked up at her and frowned when he noticed her about to cry “Miss Luna, what’s wrong? Why are you sad?” He gave her foreleg that she was rubbing his side with a light hug.
The guests stood there quietly as the watched the beautiful moment between the child and the princess of the night.
She let out a sniffle “I’m not sad sweetheart, because if you wouldn’t mind, I would like to become your new mother.” A warm smile spread across her muzzle as she looked down at the little boy.
A joyous smile of his own crept across his face and his own eyes were stinging with tears. “Really Miss Luna, you really do want to be my new mommy?” The question was asked with such hopefulness and joy in his voice that it gripped at Luna’s heart.
She simply pulled him into her warm, soft form and kissed the top of his head “Yes I do sweetheart. You are a very sweet little boy Timmy is is deserving of a loving family and I hope to be that for you, along with everypony else. That is if you would like for me to be your mother.” She looked down at him as she carefully pulled her foreleg away for just a little bit.
He looked up at her with his arms hugging at her side “Yes Miss Luna, I do want you to be my Mommy!” He said happily and laid his head against her soft warm chest.
She leaned down to kiss the top of his head “Well then, may I officially welcome you to your new home my little prince.” She beamed at the fact that she was now a mother as she felt something soft fall over her own back. She turned to see her sister standing beside her “Tia, say hello to your new little nephew.” Both royal sisters gazed down lovingly at the new addition to their family.
“Well Timmy, I would like to officially welcome to your new home of Equestria.” Princess Celestia gave him a warm smile as she levitated a scroll before Luna “To make him truly your son Lulu, all you have to do is sign this scroll.” She levitated a quill beside the scroll.
Luna nodded “Of course my sister.” She gave Celestia a warm smile and used her magic to sign the scroll with the quill. After signing it she rolled it back up and levitated it over to Celestia. She then looked down at her officially adopted son “Now my little prince, let’s go celebrate you becoming my son.” She looked at everypony who had big smiles on their muzzles and they clapped their hooves together.
Timmy looked up at Luna as he hugged at her barrel again “I love you Mommy!” His eyes were stained with tears of pure joy that he finally had someone to love him. However, a thought flowed through his mind I don’t think Mommy and the others want to be mean to me. I think Mister Blueblood is telling me lies. He shook away his thought as he turned to look at the party guests.
“Come Timmy, I would like to introduce to you some new guests that you haven’t met yet..” Luna smiled down at him as she let him gently grab at a foreleg before leading them toward the group. As she approached she looked at the three fillies and baby dragon who came with Elements of Harmony “Children, please introduce yourself to my little prince.” She sat on her haunches and nuzzled the top of Timmy’s head.
First to walk up to the young child was Spike and he gave Timmy a kind smile. However, when the boy saw the dragon he began to shake timidly and Spike could tell why. The baby dragon spoke softly to Timmy “Hey there little guy, there’s no need to be afraid of me, I’m a nice dragon.” He carefully reached out a claw to the child “My name is Spike, it is great to meet you Timmy.” He gave him a warm smile.
Timmy looked up at Luna for reassurance and she gave him a nod “It’s okay sweetheart, Spike is a indeed a very nice baby dragon.” She leaned her head down to kiss his forehead tenderly.
He nodded and looked back at Spike as he reached out his small hand to the drake “Hi Spike, it’s good to meet you too. I’ve never seen a real dragon before.” He couldn’t help but giggle a little bit.
Spike returned the giggle and carefully shook his hand “Well buddy, anytime you want to hang out with me or ask me any questions about what being a dragon is like, just come to me and I’ll tell you all you want to know.” He gave Timmy a wink and the boy giggled and nodded.
Spike walked back over to Twilight while the three fillies trotted up to the child next. All three of them gave him a warm smile “Howdy there little fella! Mah name is Apple Bloom, and Ah’m the sister of Applejack who Ya already met.” The country filly motioned a hoof toward her older sister “It’s great to meet ya Timmy, Ah hope we can be real good friends.” She stepped back.
“Hi there Timmy, my name is Sweetie Belle!” A pearl white coated filly beamed at the boy “And I’m the sister of Rarity!” She motioned toward the fashionista who nodded her head “My, aren’t you just a cutie! I hope you get to come to school with me and the girls, because it will be fun to have somepony new to spend time with.” She gave him a wink and stepped back to join Applebloom.
Last to introduce herself was an orange-coated pegasus filly “Hey there buddy, I’m Scootaloo, and I’m the fastest filly in all of Equestria!” She smirked proudly “Well, the second fastest next to my big sis, Rainbow Dash.” She motioned at the cyan mare who simply smirked “And it’s good to meet you Timmy.” She reached up a hoof to gently ruffle at his head, causing him to blush. She stepped back to join the other two fillies.
“And together we make…” Luna quickly covered Timmy’s ears tenderly with her forehooves “THE CUTIE MARK CRUSADERS!” The three fillies shouted in unison and clapped their hooves together.
Luna uncovered her son’s ears and giggled down at him “I just didn’t want that to scare you my little prince.” She nuzzled the top of his head.
He nodded and looked at the three of them “It’s good to meet you too.” He tilted his head back to look up at his new adoptive mother “Mommy, will I be going to school with Applebloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo?” A hopeful smile spread across his face.
“We’ll see my dear. We’ll have to go down to Ponyville and discuss it with the teacher there, Miss Cheerilee about enrolling you in Ponyville Elementary School.” She reached a hoof up to stroke at his head “That will be later though. For now my little prince, how about we enjoy your adoption party?”
He nodded up at her “Yes mommy, that sounds like fun!” He smiled happily as she helped lead him toward the others waiting to begin the celebration.
Pinkie Pie hopped in front of the approaching mother and son “I hope you like strawberry you cute little honey bun!” She blew a streamer and placed a party hat on the child’s head “Welcome to your new home Timmy! Now let’s party!” She yelled as everypony laughed at her giddiness and nodded in agreement. She started the record play that played some upbeat and joyful party music.
Luna smiled down at Timmy “Come my dear, let’s dance!” She giggled and gently grasped his hands in her hooves and slowly started to playfully dance by moving her hind legs back and forth, forward and backward.
Timmy giggled as he followed suit and looked up at her. As he was enjoying his party, he thought to himself I don’t want to, but I’m going to go see Mister Blueblood, because I’m scared that he might try to hurt me if I make him mad.
Outside in the courtyard, Blueblood was anxiously awaiting for the arrival of the child, but his patience was wearing thin. He scuffled his hoof against the pavement Where is that little heathen at? He let out a growl until he heard footsteps approaching and looked up to see the boy walking through the courtyard’s entrance.
When Timmy approached the stallion, he shook nervously and looked up at him “I’m sorry I’m late Mister Blueblood, but I had to wait for my party to end, and for Mommy to give me permission to come outside.”
Mommy?! For Aunt Celestia’s sake, did they really adopt this foul creature? In his mind he was fuming with rage and disapproval of the idea, but he shook his head and gave a fake smile “Ah.. that’s okay my boy. I was just enjoying the shade out here, but anyways are you ready for me to take you to my friend that I spoke of in my letter?”
Timmy swallowed nervously, but nodded “Yes Mister Blueblood, but where is your friend at?” He looked up at Blueblood curiously.
The stallion chuckled “Oh don’t worry child, she just lives outside of the kingdom in Whitetail Woods.” A look of fear soon appeared on Timmy’s face, but Blueblood lightly patted him on the shoulder “Aha… don’t worry dear child, these woods aren’t dangerous like the ones I left you that night, and for that I want to apologize for what I done. I hope you can forgive me Timmy.” He gave a pouty, pleading face.
Timmy looked up him and just nodded without saying a word.
For an intelligent species, this mere child sure is gullible. This might be easier than I thought. A sly grin crept across his muzzle “Good, now just hold onto my foreleg little one, because I’m going to have to use my transportation spell for us to get to the woods.” The little boy nodded and gently hugged at Blueblood’s foreleg.
Eeh… Note to self, remind me why I’m going through this plan of mine. He shooks his thoughts away and looked down at the child “Hold on now Timmy.” He closed his eyes and concentrated. In a flash they vanished from the castle courtyard and appeared in the Whitetail Woods. Blueblood looked down at the boy “We’re here now little one.”
Timmy unwrapped his arms from around the stallion’s foreleg and looked up, and around the forest. He noticed that there was a lot more light showering the woods and it wasn’t dark like the Everfree Forest. He looked up at Blueblood with a soft smile “Oh, it’s very pretty here Mister Blueblood.”
Blueblood simply nodded “Yes, yes, it certainly is, isn’t it?” He turned his head with a sneer “Anyway, my friend is right in there.” He motioned a hoof toward a small caravan. He started to trot toward with the child following behind “I hope she’s awake. We wouldn’t want to be rude gentlemen, would we?” He smirked as he knocked at the door of the caravan.
Soon the door would open with a light blue aura around it “Who dares disturb The Great and Power… Oh, well hello Prince Blueblood.” The mare who answered the door gave the stallion a warm smile.
He smirked proudly “Good morning Madam Trixie.”
Oh no, it looks like Blueblood has insisted the help of Trixie to help in his dastardly pain.

What's Trixie's motivation for being with the biggest twit in Equestria, I wonder?
I like the story, maybe a bit more then the first one with Fluttershy, because words like cute and such are used a bit more rare and that make them more well..... worthwhile i think. Even if he sounds a bit like Toby and Connor, i think he is somehow different too. It seems he is more scared then the others, then again he is polite, but not to polite and he has......well i am not to sure, i think i noticed that he is a bit different at least.
What i want to say is that i like it that one of them is a bit different then the others, at least he seems to be for me right now. I don´t dislike the others, i just like it if they don´t act the same. That goes for the ponys as well.
My final opinion is that i maybe could make this story here a favourite, but i wait for more chapters
