Chapter Sixteen

As Princess Celestia’s sun was slowly descending into the horizon, Luna frantically searched from above for her missing son. Alongside her was Rainbow Dash who looked over at her from time to time to see the expression of anguish on the princess’ face. The cyan pegasus sighed heavily at the sight as she felt worried for the princess and for Timmy.

“Princess, do you think we should go check with the others to see if they found anything yet? It looks like we aren’t getting anywhere from up here.” She gave Luna a sympathetic smile “Maybe the girls found some information on where that jerk of a former prince could have went and took the little guy.”

With a heavy sigh escaping her lips, Luna nodded “I believe you’re right Rainbow, we should go meet up with our friends. Maybe they found a trace of my little prince’s whereabouts or at least the lowly nephew of mine.” A growl escaped her lips as she spoke of the former prince. She turned to Rainbow “Let’s turn around my friend and go find the others.” With a firm nod Rainbow turned around with Luna and the two headed back to Canterlot Castle.

Trotting along the streets of Canterlot City, Twilight and Rarity were heading back toward the castle “Twilight darling, we’ve been trotting around the entire kingdom and nopony knows anything about that ruffian’s whereabouts and where he could have take the poor little dear. Do you believe we should… huh, Twilight?” She paused herself as she saw Twilight just stop trotting and it looked like she was staring into space.

Rarity’s voice seemed distant as Twilight was in deep thought “Yoohoo, Twilight! Darling, are you okay?” The white unicorn looked concerned for her friend and trotted up to her. She placed a hoof on Twilight’s shoulder and lightly shook her “Twilight?!”

Suddenly Twilight shook head clear of the thoughts running through her mind “Oh Rarity, I’m sorry, I must have been drifted off in thought.” She gave a blushing smile and rubbed at the back of her head.

“That’s quite alright darling, but what were you thinking about? It looked like you seen a ghost or something, and it worried me deeply to see you like that.” Rarity gave her a look of concern and a little frown.

With a heavy sigh Twilight looked at Rarity with a look of worry “Well, after Princess Luna read that letter left by Blueblood, I thought about his ‘friend’ who he spoke of us treating cruelly.” She turned her head to the side to look at some ponies who were enjoying an evening stroll through Canterlot.

“‘But Twilight, we haven’t ever treated anypony cruelly!” A scowl crept across the fashionista’s muzzle “That dastardly brute just wanted to lure the poor little darling into his hooves so he could snatch Timmy up. Yet, I too wonder who he could be speaking of taking the dear child to.” She placed a hoof on her chin in a thinking manner.

“I know Rarity, it’s just…. AH!” Twilight’s sudden burst caused Rarity to gasp and grab at her chest in shock and surprise.

“Goodness gracious dear, what was that all about?” Rarity inhaled and exhaled heavily as she felt her heart about to burst out of her chest due to being startled.“

Twilight gave her a serious glare “Rarity, I think I know who Blueblood could have went to see, but we got to meet up with the others. I just hope I’m wrong. Let’s go!” Rarity gave a firm nod and both mares galloped off to find their friends.

Once they were all together, they all met in the throne room minus Fluttershy and the Cutie Mark Crusaders. As they were gathered in a circle Applejack looked at Twilight with a quirked eyebrow “So sugarcube, who do ya think that rotten varmint took the little feller to see?”

Twilight looked at her friends with worry “Girls, Princess Luna, I believe that Blueblood took Timmy with him to see… Trixie.” She let out a heavy sigh.

“TRIXIE?!” Everypony gasped and looked from one another with shocked expressions.

Luna looked at her curiously “My dear Twilight, what would make you think it could be Trixie that my despicable nephew had taken my little prince to see?”

“Yeah, I thought we totally helped her change her ways last time she was in Ponyville.” Rainbow hovered in the air “You ought to think us outsmarting her to retrieve that alicorn amulet she would have thought twice about being evil.”

“Listen girls, I believe Trixie won’t harm Timmy, because she was sincere in turning over a new leaf. However, I think we should all go look to see where they could be hiding at and just hope that she hasn’t thought about joining sides with Blueblood.” Twilight eyed her friends with determination “I believe the first place we should check is one of the forest areas of Equestria. If I know Trixie, she might be traveling in search for a new place to perform her magic show.”

“Well my friends, let’s go get my son back!” Luna gave a smirk to the group and they replied with a firm nod “However, when we do find my little prince, you all get him to safety while I deal with Blueblood.” They gave another firm nod before everypony exited the throne room.

Don't worry my little prince, Momma's coming.{/I]

“Behold the Great and Almighty Trixie you miserable peasants!” Trixie smirked mischieviously as she lit up the alicorn amulet around her neck “Now bow down to Trixie you miserable excuses for heroes!” With a cackle she used her now reddened aura to force the Elements of Harmony to bow.

“Trixie, please stop doing this!” Twilight begged with a whimper as she tried to stand up, but Trixie’s magical hold was too strong “You’re under the influence of Blueblood, you’ve got….gah!” She was forcibly choked by Trixie’s magic.

“Silence you pathetic worm!” A scowl of anger spread across her muzzle “For that act of disobedience Twilight Sparkle, Trixie shall send you to the dungeon.” With a smirk she used her magic to make the purple unicorn to vanish in a flash.

“What is the meaning of this foul act?” Princess Luna trotted into the throne room with her son on her back, but immediately she was grabbed in the red aura and lifted into the air “I command you to let us go!” She stared angrily at Trixie until she heard a cry.

“MOMMA HELP!” Timmy was lifted off her back and slowly brought toward the powerful unicorn. He flailed helplessly in the magical grip until he was deposited at the hooves of Trixie.

She looked down at the child with a mischievous grin “Well hello little one, why don’t you make yourself comfortable and watch the once powerful Princess Luna, or your precious mommy bow down to the True, Great, and Almighty Ruler of Equestria, Trixie!” With a cackle, she stood up on her hind legs, held up her forelegs, and concentrated all her attention to the alicorn amulet. Her grin grew wider as she made the princess of the night easily bow down to her.

“MOMMA, NO!” Timmy cried out as he reached out for her. “P-please Momma, get up!” Tears started to stream from the child’s eyes down his cheeks as he saw his mother helpless.

Luna grunted as she tried to stand up, but was unable to. She lifted her head a bit to see her son crying and tried to speak to him soothingly “Shh… my little prince, please don’t cry. Momma’s okay, I promise, please don’t cry sweetheart.” She gave a reassuring smile, yet she grunted in pain as the aura was too strong to overcome.

Timmy shook with sobs and turned around to look up at Trixie “Y-you Monster! Leave my Momma and friends alone!” He started to beat on a foreleg of hers, but barely phasing her.

She glared down at him with a smirk and simply chuckled “Oh you poor, pitiful, little foul creature. Don’t you see, the Great and Almighty Trixie has won and there’s nothing you or your precious momma can do about it!” She cackled in triumph.

A grin crept across Trixie’s face as she was dreaming when of a sudden she was awoken by a tug on her foreleg. She blinked her eyes open and let out a yawn to look down and see Timmy gently tugging at her hoof. She blinked again and looked at him with confusion “What’s wrong little one, how come have you disturbed Trixie during my peaceful slumber?” She felt frustrated, but that all went away when she saw tears forming in the child’s eyes.

“Miss Trixie, I miss my Momma. Could you please take me back home? I want my Momma.” He held at her hoof between his little hands and looked up at her with a frown.

The Alicorn Amulet might bring Trixie great power and control over the Elements of Harmony, but what would Trixie really achieve if I break the heart of this poor child. She looked from the begging child to the sleeping stallion on the other side of the caravan. Her brows furrowed with determination Blueblood, you do indeed drive a hard bargain, but Trixie must think straight, and I must choose not to hurt this innocent little one by involving him in one of your dastardly plans.

She looked back down at Timmy and gave him a soft nod “Yes little one, I’ll take you back to your momma, but you’ve got to stay real quiet. I’ve got a plan to keep Sir Blueblood occupied until your momma and friends can do something about him.” Timmy silently nod with a smile of relief on his face.

Trixie very quietly climbed out of her cot and used her magic to slowly levitate two thick, long pieces of rope over to Blueblood. With great patience and concentration she used the ropes to tie up both of his forelegs and hind legs. She looked down at Timmy with a smirk and leaned down to whisper in his ear “Now just climb onto my back dear and we shall go look for your momma.” She gave him a soft smile and leaned forward on her forelegs for him to climb up on her back.

She stood up and quietly trotted out of the caravan. She shut the door and locked it “Now let’s go find your family dear.” She looked back at Timmy and nuzzled at his cheek before trotting away from her caravan and out of the Whitetail Woods in search of the child’s family.

A smile crept across her muzzle, a smile of satisfaction The Great and Powerful Trixie feels good about this decision.
