A magic obsessed pegasus finds himself in over his head after being assigned to a cartological expedition to distant islands. Armed with only his knowledge of an obscure branch of magic, and tenuous relationships with his coworkers, he must survive in a hostile tropical jungle that holds both the key to his research and a dark secret that threatens life back on the mainland.

Twilight has discovered a new spell to use in tandem with the Elements of Harmony. Its intent is to reveal more of the mysteries behind the artifacts. Yet once the spell is cast will the mane six be able to deal with the consequences? What will they learn when they come face to face with the very virtues they claim to embody? But after a night of drunken debauchery you awaken to find yourself in the service of Ponyville's premiere fashionista, you're willing to forget your previous pledge to the single life after she proves herself to be the kindest and most generous pony you've ever met, but only time will tell if she'll be your future lover or the next in line of a long list of mare's who you'd rather forget.

Twilight's friends may not be immortal like her, but she's not going to let a stupid little thing like death get in the way of friendship. Now the ruler of Equestria, Princess Twilight Sparkle discovers the truth of life after death: More life. Armed with this new knowledge, Twilight ventures from Canterlot Castle to find and befriend the reincarnations of her oldest friends, whether they like it or not.

Twilight Sparkle is turning 37. And what does she do on her 37th birthday? The same thing she has done every year since she was 29: disguise herself, go to a bar, talk to the patrons, and get drunk. But this time, somepony is waiting for her there.

It's been a long time since anyone ever called me that, and it's even stranger with "love". But can they know me truly? Can I trust them with the truth? And more importantly… can I protect them from the truth?

Good morning, afternoon, night, or whenever you're reading this. My name is Edward, aka 'patient 42', and I am currently residing in an insane asylum.
Why?
I suppose it all started When the ruler of this place called Equestria tasked her personal student, Twilight Sparkle, to travel to Earth and study the human race.
Unfortunately for Twilight, when she teleported to our world she, well... she appeared in the middle of the road. Right in front of my car. Needless to say, this put a pretty big dent in her expedition. ...as well as my car's bumper.

Sounds crazy, right? But hey, maybe thats the reason why I'm in this cell.
Point is, The story I'm about to tell you is the tale of events sparked by that ill-fated night.

note: In this plane of existence, the franchise "My Little Pony" does not exist. In short; this is not, nor will it ever be, a 'brony meets pony' story.
Also, on a more recent note, I had this idea and began writing way back in S2, so this is in no way inspired by EqG. (also, its non-alicorn twilight)

Through great hardships and heartbreaks, Twilight Sparkle has finally "won" the heart of her beloved Rainbow Dash. But will she have the chance to finally enjoy the peace and happiness of her hard won victory? Will the consequences of her extreme actions catch up with her? And what will happen if Rainbow Dash ever begins to suspect the truth?

Rated T for language, implicit sexual content, and morally confusing arguments regarding neuroethics. Again, this is a sequel to Then Tomorrow Came. If you haven't read that, this isn't going to make much sense.
