Twilight Sparkle has disappeared. Not just from the face of Equestria but possibly from the face of her universe itself. Oblivion Shadow is a master Witcher of the Wolf School. A contract on a Leshens head brings him to the edge of the Northern Realms to answer a call for help. The fight starts off as normal. A second Leshen attack leaves him fighting on two fronts. The Witcher is able to escape, or so he thought when a sharp pain in his back leaves him waking up in Equestria. He is taken in by the Apple family, who treat him as one of their own. He is welcomed by the ponies of this world and he must learn how to accept that or risk upsetting a balance that he did not realize he was a part of. The question he has to ask himself is how does he get back to his world? Or does he even want to go back to a world that is fraught with war and drowning in hate and rage? His senses tell him that monsters from his world are in this new one but he can't seem to track them down. Could his world be bleeding into this one, and how bad will the damage be? He follows the Mane 6 and learns through them what it means to be a friend and a brother.

Secondly: this uses the basic appearance of my OC; Brian Dragnov in another version. In other words: the basic idea of the character Quicksilver from both X-Men Days of Future Past and Avengers Age of Ultron. Both versions exist because they don't mention the other.

One month ago Silver Spark started school at Canterlot High after moving to get away from his past and recover from his loss. This plan hasn't gone very well so far; it's almost as if someone is actively trying to ruin his life. Friendless and avoided by the bulk student body, he is an ideal target for bullies. The Fall Formal is coming soon and Silver might just find a place for a proper new beginning.

Still, ignoring the past doesn't make it go away. It has a habit of popping back up in the strangest ways.

Note: This starts as a re-telling/writing of the Equestria Girls storyline starting at the very beginning but you can expect some divergence from canon as time progresses. it is first person, primarily from the perspective of Silver Spark. If you are curious what Silver Spark looks like, you can see a picture of him here thought it might spoil things a tiny bit.

When our protagonist awakens in the Everfree Forest, he is not alone. Transformed into a creature he once thought to be fictional, and accompanied by his close family he must find his way through this new land. Can he build a new life for them all in Equestria, and how will the ponies react to these strange creatures? Particularly when they find out about a certain TV show.
