I get up on a Monday to edit my own work, and what do I see? Life Finds A Way is back to distract me~! Joyous occasion!
Edit:
Damn it, Cure.
thanks
Loved the ending of this chapter ❤️ 💕
Thanks for the update!
I live in the UK.
Mate we can do oh so much more than that. We can use as much force as is deemed necessary by the circumstances
judged on a case by case senario, the only stuff out of bounds if life changing injuries, using deadly weapons (ie knife or Gun) or kill them*. So cure is def right when stating it was a stereotype.*this again varies on a case by case situation
I would hit that dislike to fix it like you want but I've already liked the story so it would just throw the likes out of balance lol
"occasionally piddling in the bath before hopping out"
Yikes, that means something very different in the UK lol
I would hit the dislike button to "make the numbers look right" (can totally relate, I have OCD), but then the number of likes would go down by one and mess everything up again.
I am going to remove the like just to mess up the number of likes too :3
Thanks for the chapter! ^v^
thank's for the update, love the chapter. your writing and this story are so awesome i don't really know how tot say it all
cure is not the only one who gets emotional, especially when he starts talking about his death and lost love.
then its also a fact that i just cant stop smiling while reading most of the time ^^
I mean, for all they know, the princesses have had actual people from other universes end up in their world, with their original bodies intact, before.
I honestly thought that Cure's speech regarding biology, even if those topics in most societies are rather hushed topics, most certainly makes sense given his exposure and experience. I've known a classmate many years ago who wanted to work in the morgue, and it showed in her choice of words and topics, and she spoke about it rather casually and mundanely, even when the teacher was asking several times for a softer kind of language.
The same could be said about most professions and fields, and what may appear to the individual to be completely normal things might appear to the unexposed populous as extreme.
It seems like a weird statement to make when it's entirely within his ability to make that a completely voluntary thing for both parties.
Sure he's offering to do birth control for them but he has the ability to outright give them control of it, permanently.
I'd think that'd end up being a standard upgrade as if you could, why wouldn't you?
It's pretty scary how naturally Cure lies. He'd be absolutely terrifying if he didn't make it a point to be a Good Guy™.
Removed my like to see it be 666 and 33 just for you man

Wow even in pony land chiraq is chiraq
Does Equestria have 3-letter agencies?

Canonically they have S.M.I.L.E
you
I wasn't exactly looking for them but that's the only typo that jumped out at me. Not bad at all for being in a hurry. Such a tease leaving out Amethyst and Lemon's reactions to the 'suit' though. I wonder if it makes it better or worse that the alicorn body and home defense tentacle are the the same thing.
I'll also temporarily remove my like so you can keep the 666 a little longer, but that fights doomed to failure.
Either "They’re officially asking to join families."
or "They’ve officially asked to join families."
-----------------------------
*you
these are the lines I’m here for
It'd be real cool if Cure and his big family gets to experience what it is like to have all these convenient technology for a day. Like a touch phone or being a couch potato.
I am still interested in finding out if Amy and Lemon, if I recall correctly, will open up any "sexual wellness" shop in the future
Good chapter!
That word... it does not mean what you meant it to mean. Change that first i to an a.
The Cure train has no breaks baby! Aww Yeah!
And for those pesky typos, might I suggest linking your online editing suite to Grammarly? It works nicely with this comment box and Google Docs, but it'll hook into most anything online.
Moral question:
Cure spent a little time with Lotus and fixed her speech impediment.
But is this the right thing to do? If her impediment was something like a lisp, and not debilitating, one could argue that it would be one of her defining character traits. But now, that that trait has been removed, it basically alters a small part of who she is as a whole. Sometimes, flaws make us who we are.
She will never struggle with that and learn the hard lessons it could teach about being ridiculed by bullies and making true friends who see past it.
I'm not saying which is right or wrong. But I wonder if Cure has thought about this.
11524455
I'd argue that as long as she wants the change there is no moral quandary to be had.
Some people get stuck with handicaps, some would not want those handicaps removed even if given the option.
IRL this is actually weirdly common with the deaf community.
Otherwise i'm pretty sure it was touched on a bit some chapters back in relation to mental health issues and he was planning on leaving anything iffy up to celestia, however a quick search only got me a bit where he was noting that his powers had never given him anything on mental health issues.
Personally i'd take it. "spend a large portion of my life working around a handicap" vs "have the same normal life as most are granted without having to fight my own body for what comes naturally to most others"
Life is plenty difficult enough without a disability and I don't think people are defined by their disabilities.
But to each their own.
Notably cure isn't just fixing disabilities he's also adding new abilities where there weren't before like giving the thestrals built in sunglasses and yet while most of them like the idea not everyone takes him up on it. If they get built in shades are they still the same pony as they were before?
I had thought that this part was meant as a reminder to readers to be aware of the magic in our world, but then I saw the author's note.
If you think there's zero evidence of magic, you aren't paying attention. I say that as someone who has, in fact, performed magic, and I don't mean the stage kind. The reasons you think that's not possible are that you don't recognize every instance of magic as being magic[1], and if you're a beginner, some magic is so subtle (especially at low power) that you won't realize what you're doing. The reasons you think no one ever explains or demonstrates magic are that, first, if you can't figure it out yourself, you're not worthy of it, and second, there are people who explain it anyway and you didn't understand them. I will tell you this: The first requirement to perform magic is to know that you can. It's a common trope because it's true.
[1]: Consider the following: If magic exists and is regularly used in your world, you're not shocked by seeing it. Maybe you didn't understand how what happened happened, but you don't specially notice it. Unicorns using telekinesis is mundane because lots of them do it every day. Well, the same is true of our world. Human magic is not so flashy as what we see in MLP, but I assure you, it exists.
Pretty sure Cure will give it a try at some point.
I was expecting Cure to really troll this mare with something like, “…and that’s why I think I prefer older mare…” lol
Cure started this, but I want imagine that he successfully convinced at least one of the employees that Solar was actually his Sire -a very early bloomer- before leaving the spa.
I wonder if Lemon will help Cure make those “special” chocolates for Celestia he brainstormed a while back now that she’s in the circle.
Good for you, Ferris! Didn’t see the other fillies step up for Hearts and Hooves. I know Cure will remember that.
Very good work, author! Thank you!!
0:20
Celsius or Fahrenheit?
Ferric is the only friend in the group that has her cutie mark, Cure needs to teach her how to actively cycle her magic. I can only imagine how amazing her work can become! Then, as each friend earns their mark, make the lesson part of their gift. The other option would be to teach them all at the same time, which could lead to the others finding their marks much like Cure did
Another banger chaptor love your work and gg
Is it strange I’m looking forward for Mondays?
11528829
If it is, then we can sit here and be strange together.

happiness when we see him online lol.
This wurm had added this book to thier collection of devoured words and patiently awaits for more.
Cure is wrong. When it comes to torture, there is no justifiable reason to use it without consent. Torture exists for one thing and one thing only - for the torturer to get pleasure from causing others pain. Some people are into pain, but non-consensual torture is just awful and has zero practical or positive uses.
Edit: downvoting "torture is bad"? Bruh.
Aside from that, and correct me If I'm wrong... Cure seems to have the vibe of a person who's against abortion. Maybe I'm overthinking it, though.
11685457
Yeah and have some crazy guy. Was trying to get a bunch of people killed and not willing to share the information you'd find a way to get the information.
11717126
Torture does not work as a way of getting information. It's a proven fact. It is not at all like in fiction.
I am now expecting Cure to be the one to "originate" the Sonic Rainboom.
During "Sonic Rainboom" S1 E16, Pinkie mentions that it was "legendary", and Applejack added Rainbow was the only one to ever do it. This makes most people believe it was RD who first created the effect. However, later in "Cutie Mark Chronicles" E23, Rainbow says, "Most people thought that the Sonic Rainboom was just an old mare's tail. But that day... The day I discovered racing... I proved that the legends were true. I made the impossible happen!"
So, how could it be "legendary" to RD as a filly, if that was the first time it ever occurred, and she was the first to do it? It's canonly contradictory within that episode and self-contradictory as a statement.
While it's still possible that powerful fliers like Celestia and/or Luna may have been the original ponies to ever do it, with the advancements Cure's making, this may be an upcoming incident involving him, too.
Not to mention that with RD being nearly as strong as AJ, RD might possibly be a descendant of Cure or one of his friends that he treated with his talent.
11524178
Then again, given Cure's abilities, he could be doing that as a means of propulsion
11685457
If and this is a big "IF", it is done by a Goverment Agency in times of peril and only in emergency's?
yeah sure, i'd rather have a Terrorist from any organization be tortured because they are planing something.
And time is running low, than taking a risk of thousands or even Millions dying.
"does not work as a way of getting information. It's a proven fact."
where the hell is your proven fact?
There are even historic retelling's of how this was used, and examples in wartime Documents.
11812665
Don't be an edgy fuck advocating for torture. Scientifically and ethically, torture cannot be justified in any way under any scenario, and using torture opens up a can of worms that you do not want to open up.
11813012
I am not trying to be edgy nor be an apologist.
But.
"There are certain moral duties so fundamental that they rise above any calculated outcome in any given ticking bomb scenario."
and
"the Ticking Bomb Scenario is unlikely to obtain in the real world. Although certainty is one of the criteria to be considered in the utilitarian calculus introduced"
are the two main points in both.
The first is a moral answer to: why not? just being "Because morally bad is more importand than any calculated outcome" and yeah, it normally is but as the second point shows, yeah it is unlikely to happen but again "What if?" these are certain facts and factors that just get shoulder shrugged over with "but that would never happen".
heck if there is even a near impossible chance to be wrong, i would agree.
Hell this is just asking someone a weird and unlikely scenario, like asking your mate: "what would you do if..."
and answering "But that would never happen" Yes i know and even if the chance is only 0.0000001%
"IF" this 0.0000001% happened, as unlikely as it is, i would look away if it meant protecting my loved ones and i will die on that hill.
People especially Parents have done things that one would agree are morally wrong, yet there is an understanding "WHY".
If my nephews where Taken and Officials said they couldn't do anything, there would be almost no morally black for either me let alone my Brother.
We've always wondered at the "eww gross, privates!" thing people have going on.
Whelp now the inner circle has expanded!
New Pegasus? Shouldn't that be Las Pegasus? Look, I'm all for having a Mr. Horse and all, but the bombs haven't dropped yet, lol
11833460
That's genuinely hilarious. Guess I had fallout on the brain when I pulled that one.
Cure is a troublemaker, and basically everypony likes him. Checkmate, Red.
You could use professional help, alrightDawn would know he knew who put the box there, purely because his first thought wasn't "is someone trying to poison or trick me?" when he found a box on his doorstep XD
