Rules for Princess Celestia:
1. Make sure to review Cure's coronation speech before the event.
2. Do not, under any circumstances, let him improvise.
All of the above also doesn’t take into account the very public displays of his special talent he’s been doing around town since he’s an 8 year old kid.
Yes he is also running his business under his own name which this chapter also pointed out.
The jigsaw puzzle that is Prince Serpentus’s true identity may have some pieces missing, but there are more than enough pieces scattered about that any investigative journalist—especially those with a special talent for it—could figure out Cure’s true identity.
It’s hysterical reading how Cure and Celestia are both super serious about keeping his identity secret, even talking about some of Cure’s mistakes, but are just missing a few key details that will come back to bite him in the butt.
Am I the only one just waiting for Cure to drop the fact that him and Celestia are compatible.... I would love to see that aftermath
This time there are bugs in the bed
An interesting idea for Cure would be to include English idioms or allusions to human historical events in his speech. If there are any other reborn humans in the world, they would recognize them and get in contact with him, allowing Cure to learn if he is the only person in his situation.
“Damnit,” she grumbles, turning to look away.
And 6 Nobels just had a stroke. Somehow considering the bad old days I think that Celestia and Luna could give a drill sergeant a 5 minute head start and leave him looking like roadkill.
This has to be one of the best stories on site at this time. I love it!
LOOSE LIPS SINK SHIPS!
I wanna see a Diamond Dog or Changeling or some traditional enemy of ponykind desperately seeking out Cure to take care of their sick loved one. :)

didnt he alredy do that kinda a chapter or two ago after he accended. i mean it was played for laughs by having celestia misinterpet him talking about how he still can have kids and her assuming he means with her.
11608223
I believe he was making an off hand comment when the topic was jested about by his parents...
Not much to comment on this chapter, just Cure being Cure. Brings up a lot of interesting points and answers some questions tho.
Looking forward to next week.
11608170
I think they both know but they are also agreeing not to say anything about it, silently. He's only 8 after all and Celstia's a fully grown mare.
11608263
Body of an 8yo mind of a 50yo... what s hell that plays on the psyche... I know that the age thing is there but with his maturity and the pony culture society... I can see the subject planned and broached...
*Or should have
awesome chapter
the visit to his grandparent's was hilarious
love them cure and celestia talks
That should probably say "less survived than did" because you're only leaving out the second 'survive' in that sentence
Setting
This whole interchange about his introduction and the trumpet is a wonderful snapshot of Cure.
11608170
I can imagine he might hint at this during his speech.
11608173
This would be an interesting twist.
Fireball?

Bed bugs are arachnids, if they're the same as ticks. I don't think I ever checked to make sure. I'm going to have to skim through the last chapter or two to see if cure spilled all the beans on his having a set of memories from an alien.
Anonymous. What Cure Wave/Edward could have been. Complete with craziness attached.
Also, I hope we get to see those psuedo alicorns and earth-tribe hybrids more. Their genetic condition is really interesting to dive into! Especially if Cure decides they should have the best of both worlds by fixing both magical and physical growths.
It is pretty interesting to imagine pegasus unicorns and unicorn pegasi casually go about as a group.
Good chapter! Is Cure still going to do the ship call?
11608234
Yes, but Celestia took the offhand comment the complete wrong way and thought Cure meant that he and Celestia were compatible. Though they did end it pretty quickly after that with Celestia saying something along the lines of, "I have only been so mortified on a hoofful of occasions."
11608295
DISPEL MAGIC!!
Damn dude now cure is dropping info bombs on the readers. If he means true age regression celesta will be so happy!
11608173
Who do you think you're talking about, Suzuki Satoru?
Awesome, Cure Wave and Celestia banter is back and it’s still as glorious and hilarious as before. Keep up the awesome work good author!
11608333
I'll have to go back an re-read the story, im sure there's more that I missed
11608390
He already had true age regression, he was just playing it off as "incomplete".
11608333
I have to wonder if this compatibility issue will come up again at the turn of the century when Luna shows up and Cure's a lot older...
a fun chapter as always, more so with Cure's self-introduction to his grandsire and dams
but mostly his interactions with Celestia as always
can't help it

Was so starting to share Cure's frustration with this conclusion of the attempted kidnapping, then Celestia went and turned the whole thing around with her good humor, understanding demeanor, and sound logic.
That Celly-Belly's pretty good at this princesses-ing thing.
11608561
Yeah, I am also very curious to see what happens with things when Luna returns. It should be rather interesting.
11608394
I was thinking about the novel Replay. It came out in 1986, so Edward might have read it.
Oh, I love Fireball. It's like drinking a cinnamon bun!
I was a little concerned about Cure’s reaction to finding out that the Lt was ultimately responsible for the release of his information. It was inadvertent and regretted, will probably torpedo her career (gonna end up on Bluebloods security detail?) and she’ll probably end up “commanding” a three pony outpost at the top of a mountain overlooking the border of Yakyakistan. I’m not saying he should go looking for, or agreeing to accepting a personal apology, but “Go away, forever”, from the new prince, feels a little cruel.
Now, Cure has shown some temper, and it wasn’t in person, so it’s not out of character, but still…
Next, I’m looking forward to his apology to Evening Whisp. Bet she’s developed some arachnophobia. I almost hope Cure shows up as the prince, talks to her a bit, then transforms into a spider and lets her beat the crap out of him. “Here’s a rolled up newspaper, a heavy work boot and a fly swatter. Smack me! Harder! HARDER! I can’t feel it (she doesn’t know he’s turned off his nerves), now squish me!”

Since I’m not familiar enough with either of those, I think it would need to be something more familiar, more pop culture, more timeless. I’m thinking he’d need to end his speech with something like “May the force be with you”. It’s not common speech, so anyone who knows it, knows it’s human, anyone who doesn’t know it would infer “force” is magic? or he’s just saying something silly. “I’ll be back” in an Arnold voice is too vaguely ‘human’ while “With great power comes great responsibility” would be a phrase that could easily be crafted just for an ascension speech. Of course, nothing says he has to use just one human quote. Hey, his entire speech could be crafted from song lyrics if Edwards memory holds up. Of course, somepony in the audience would reply “and also with you” to the Star Wars quote
On that note, Cure should start writing down some of his memories, 90+ years before events reoccur is a lot of new memories to obstruct the old ones
11608164
Knowing Cure, he’ll make sure Celestia approves his entire speech.
A speech that is filled with nothing but human pop culture references.
Little gremlin over here.
So, I think you said something like "a few more chapters then timeskip"? I assume there won't be much besides the coronation, finding his wayward plant, and then the life magic coming in.
Finally reached this chapter, now I'm sad.
I can't wait the timeskip to the return of Princess Luna ! I hope she is more crude than Celestia with the type of jokes coming from Cure would pass well ahah.

I honestly can't wait to see her reaction when she sees that there are two (assuming that Cadance ascends in this version of Equestria as well) more Alicorns than there were before she was banished to the moon. I could see part of it maybe going something akin to this:
At seeing the two new Alicorns in the room with her and Celestia, Luna's eyes widened and she gasped in both confusion and surprise.
She simply couldn't believe that there was a possibility that there were actually two more Alicorns in existence now, besides both herself and her sister. Her disbelief was so intense that she decided that the ponies were not truly Alicorns and that this was her sister's attempt at pranking her.
She truly had missed Tia terribly these past thousand years, though what she really had not missed during that time was her older sister's pranks and her constant attempts to prank her.
If she were being completely honest, she could probably go another thousand years without Celestia trying to prank her, and she would not miss them in the slightest.
Her look of confusion and surprise faded away and was replaced with one of irritation, as she sighed in annoyance, at Celestia's antics, at her older sister trying to prank her almost immediately after she had returned.
The very least that her sister could have done was given her the courtesy of having a few weeks, maybe a month, to settle back in and regain a bit of her strength without her having to endure Celestia pranking her.
Luna was honestly more than a bit annoyed that she hadn't even given her that kind of courtesy, and made to voice that immense annoyance at her sister's inconsiderate antics to Celestia.
"Sister, why art there two more Alicorns than what we remember existing, before we were banished to the moon? Prithee, dost thou care to explain their existence to us? Is this one of thy attempts to try pranking us?"
"If so, tis a most poorly thought out and executed prank. Admittedly, we had hoped that thou wouldst hath learned to refrain from indulging in thy mischievous pastime of pranking others, most especially us, at least until we art settled in once more and hath regained a bit of our strength."
"Though sadly, seems as though that twas expecting far too much from thou, sister, and thou truly art hopeless. Thou may appear to be a fully grown mare on the outside, though thou art simply a little filly trapped within an adult mare's body in actuality."
At hearing her younger sister speak in a very annoyed tone and simply dismiss the other two royals in the room as her attempt at trying to prank Luna, Celestia's eyebrows furrowed in confusion and disbelief at her sister's casual dismissal of the two newer Alicorns amongst their ranks and her irritation at their presence.
Then as Luna continued speaking, that look changed into a look of displeasure, at hearing Luna berating her for trying to prank her immediately after returning home, when Celestia really had tried doing no such thing.
She had simply tried to surprise Luna, with two more ponies who had joined the ranks of the Alicorns during her long absence, nothing more, and she also made sure to voice her displeasure to Luna as well, at both her sister's attitude and actions.
"I'm being completely serious, and I'm not trying to prank you. All of this is no joke, Luna. I can tell you for certain that these two ponies here truly are Alicorns, as we ourselves are. We aren't all alone anymore, Lulu."
"I truly do not appreciate you assuming that I was trying to prank you, when I was merely attempting to surprise you, by introducing you to the other two, new Alicorns in our group."
"I had sincerely thought that you might really appreciate knowing that there were two more ponies, ones who you might be able to talk and potentially relate to, other than me."
"I know that I made a pretty sizable reputation for myself, as quite the prankster when we were both fillies, young mares and then adults. Though, even I know when to stop joking around and be serious, and I truly think that this time is one of those."
At hearing that these two ponies were indeed Alicorns, Luna's annoyed stare changed back into one of surprise and shock for a few seconds.
Then it shifted once again, turning into a hard, steely glare, as she looked into her sister's eyes.
By doing that, Luna was trying to discern whether or not she was being honest, or this all really was simply a giant, elaborate hoax, as she asked Celestia one more question to either confirm or deny her suspicions.
"So thou truly art not lying to, or attempting to prank us, Celestia?"
Celestia, directly met her sister's glare as she asked her that question, even if she was a bit hesitant to look into Luna's eyes due to the glare's intensity, though she managed to not look away and answered her little sister honestly.
"No, Luna, I'm not. You have my word as both your big sister and fellow Princess, that I am telling you the honest, untainted truth and that I am not trying to prank you."
At seeing that there was no discernable hint of deceit inside of her older sister's eyes, Luna slowly nodded once in approval and acceptance of Celestia's answer, though she kept her glare up and never once broke eye contact with Celestia.
This was Luna's way of getting back at her sister for giving her the wrong idea and irritating her so much as well, because she knew her sister despised it when she stared at her this way.
Luna had found out, on accident, when they were young mares, that her staring at Celestia as she was currently doing always made her extremely uncomfortable for some odd reason, and after finding that out Luna had made sure to abuse the everloving Tartarus out of it every chance she got since then.
Even as she spoke out her next words, she did not break her gaze with her sister, and Luna could, much to her well concealed and slight amusement, see that her sister was now feeling the effect of her prolonged stare, and was shifting uncomfortably under her unrelenting gaze.
"Alright... We believe what thou said, though we expect thou to explain everything to us, sister."
Though Luna did not get an answer, as being the target of her prolonged piercing glare the way she had been, Celestia was not really paying any attention to what her sister had just said and didn't hear that she was expected to give an answer.
Instead she was nervously shifting around on her hooves, with her wings also twitching a bit, from her feeling so incredibly uncomfortable under Luna's piercing glare.
Celestia did not know exactly how she had managed to figure out how to do it, but somehow her younger sister was able to make her extremely uncomfortable, with only that piercing stare of hers, if she really wanted to.
Even after so long being away, she could still somehow do it so easily, much to Celestia's great annoyance and discomfort.
At her sister's lack of a response after several seconds, Luna felt her prior amusement at her sister being so uncomfortable and fidgeting the way a little foal would, melt away and her annoyance grow in its place once more.
She raised an eyebrow in annoyance, and made once more for that sizable amount of annoyance to be known vocally to Celestia, and to try again getting some answers out of her.
Though as she did that, Luna thought she had done enough to Celestia, and chose to finally break her gaze with her sister, staring at her tiara instead, so that she would hopefully snap out of her trance and give her the answers that she had been wanting this time.
"Well? Art thou going to give us some answers, Celestia?
After Luna had called out to her, Celestia had started slightly and shook her head, to try and clear it of all the thoughts that she had been having, so she could answer her sister.
After taking a few seconds to recompose herself from being knocked off balance by Luna's staredown, Celestia cleared her throat and proceeded to chuckle awkwardly, before finally answering her sister.
"I... well, that's actually kind of a funny and long story, Lulu... Maybe I could tell you about it later after you get a bit of rest? I can only imagine just how exhausted you are right now, after everything that you went through earlier this evening."
At hearing her older sister trying to be amusing in this situation and put off answering her till later, Luna's piercing stare returned and only hardened even further, with her annoyance and impatience only growing more as well.
She truly did appreciate her sister's genuine thoughtfulness about her and what she had been through earlier today, but what she really didn't appreciate, though, was being denied the answers to all of the questions that were now burning a hole in her mind and were driving her to madness at this point.
She took a breath to try and quell all of the annoyance she was feeling, so she could try and convince her sister to give her the answers that she wanted, without her metaphorically biting Celestia's head off.
It had thankfully worked, as Luna was now calmer and she was not very likely snap at her sister, and she made to dismiss Celestia's worries about her state of being so she could finally, hopefully, get all of the answers that she had been wanting to the questions that she had.
"Thou shouldst remember that we wast trapped on the moon for a thousand years, Tia. We believe that we can endure a mere hour or so of thy explanation, about our new fellow Prince and Princess before we take our leave to go rest..."

That interaction was very well written in my opinion
I think discord is responsible for the problem that Stallings have I think he did it wean he was free and it slowly over generation's he is slowly killing the male race off making it worse every time until thear is only female left with the only stallion breading only filly until he died the Argos dooming theam all
Good lesson here - don't blab. Don't share information, yours or otherwise, without thought, unless you're ready for someone to use that information to hurt others.
Well, and don't get drunk.
I cast fireball!
Banter delights me.
