Remember the Protoss ship from Starcraft Heart of the Swarm? The one from the "Enemy Within" mission? The one that started with sneaking? Niadra (the broodmother that eventually infested the place) lost contact with the Queen of Blades more than fifty years ago. Since then, the Zerg aboard that ship have flourished... until one day when they came across an unknown planet and were pulled in. The atmosphere did little to the ship, but the crash did.

The horrific Zerg within, Niadra included, perished... all save for one little Drone. Free of any control, this Drone has only three directives: multiply, infest, thrive.

The God Emperor of Mankind is in Equestria, and he's looking for love. Good thing for him that Celestia is looking for the same thing. The problem is that he's a warmongering immortal monarch, and she's a benevolent alicorn princess, so clearly they'll get along swimmingly. Here's hoping Equestria survives their relationship!

When Rainbow Dash receives a package from her grandfather, she discovers an artifact of immense power and potential. An artifact that holds dominion over the very destiny of each and every pony's threads of fate. In the wrong hooves, it could be dangerous, catastrophic even.

Naturally, she abuses it.

This story is a sequel to Stardust

Times are changing for Equestria as Twilight’s return brings with it news of people and cultures from beyond the peaceful world everypony knows. Aid and volunteers are freely offered to help the besieged humans of Earth because every Equestrian knows that’s what good friends do. Unfortunately, making friends can also have the unintended consequence of making enemies.

When the monsters besieging the humans strike at Equestria with a level of brutality not seen in over a thousand years, the cry for help is sent to all the kingdoms of the world. Honored allies step forth to fulfill ancient treaties and oaths. Enemies, old and new, bury their grievances. An alliance never before seen in Equestria will be created to combat the monsters from the void.

And because of these events, a grim but welcome sibling to the XCOM project is born.

When a Necromancer is hurled into the place between places then escapes to another world at the cost of his life it is not the end. Being a Necromancer he returns to life with ease, but is skirting the edges of consciousness, and unable to truly wake as a mysterious figure uses magic to put him on the back of a horse to carry him away into the night.

To make matters worse the phylactery he used to save his own life recreated him as a member of the dominant race with... some errors. His injuries are still present and he's now in a much smaller body with his magic drained to nothingness.

So now he's horribly injured, held captive by an unknown force, in an unfamiliar body, in an unfamiliar world and completely exhausted. He's had worse days. He just can't think of any off the top of his head. So familiar territory then, nothing to worry about.

It's been a rough day for Twilight Sparkle. She was awoken in the middle of the night to save the town, had a chance to study an alien artifact ripped out from under her, and is now stuck with Applejack, Fluttershy, and her arch-nemesis Queen Chrysalis in some alien fighting tournament with a bunch of... things she doesn't even want to try and start describing without a cup of coffee and some asprin!

Indeed, Twilight and her friends have been summoned to join the latest Smash Brothers tournament! And as they explore the mysterious 'Smashworld' and meet new, colorful characters, they will be pitted head to head against new friends and enemies as well as each other! Can their friendships survive being forced to fight one another? Why are all the other 'smashers' so on edge? And what's with the bizarre being that purports to be the creator of this world, "the Master Hand?"

Only one thing is for sure. It's going to be a doozy.

The interviews have drawn to a close. All goes according to the Administrator's plan... for the time being. A new threat, one that promises to definitively end the stalemate between RED and BLU, watches patiently and waits for an opportunity to strike.

It finds one.

As both sides struggle for survival, friendships are made, schemes are executed, trust is betrayed, and ponies are manipulated. All in the name of a worthy cause.

Such is the way of war.

Inspired by Well Dressed Ninja's My Little Pony: Friendship is Miniature, this focuses more on a single pony of incredibly reduced stature and how a human deals with hilarity and headaches that ensue from a princess discovering the show and its fanbase from Lullaby for a Princess to Molestia as she tries to find her way home. Of course, that doesn't mean she is free from all the horrors and comedic obscenities it holds.
