Hearth's Warming Eve, a holiday rarely ever celebrated in the Wasteland for numerous reasons. After all the events that changed the livelihood of many of the people living in the Wasteland, the Wasteland entered a state of relief for many of the heroes. Thus, began the first time that this holiday would be celebrated. Join in the heroes, as they take a break they well-deserved enjoying fun events, chatting with one another and possibly making new friendships with the other heroes far and wide.

Once upon a time, on the not-so-magical planet Earth, there was a US Marine who signed up to defend his country. He was assigned to a fire team, the fire team assigned to a squad and the squad assigned to a platoon. Together they defended the area surrounding a Forward Operating Base in Afghanistan from insurgents. If only it were that simple.

When lone Marine is transported to Equestria he finds a post-apocalyptic wasteland. With no orders, no resupply and seemingly no hope of return, he sets out to find what brought him here, and why.

After finding a downed space ship, Courier 6 (aka Jacks) and his closest companion ED-E find an energetic pink pony that survived the crash. The pony agrees to join Jacks with the promise that he will find her a way home. What follows is a series of amazing, wild, and crazy adventures all across the Mojave desert. Friends are made, enemies are killed, parties are had, and Pinkie Pie-isk insanity ensues.

When ED-E's circuits burned in the fires of the Divide, there was one small part that held on until the end. It was the fragment that held the Old World memories and the words of his creator in his last moments. Rainbow Dash just wanted to go home. The weather was grim, sure, but she had to get home. Staying at Twilight Sparkle's library wouldn't cut it for her. Besides, she was too busy sorting out things. However, things take a drastic turn for the worse when she finds that going through the weather was beyond what she wanted. Even worse, she's now stuck with someone who may either be the pinnacle of her death, or her last and best hope of survival...
