This story is a sequel to A Chill in the Air

In an effort to learn and use the Rainbooms' own tricks against them, the Dazzlings attend a party at Sunset Shimmer's urging. While they're there, they share tales of their exploits in this world up to and beyond the Battle of the Bands.

The three Sirens, Adagio Dazzle, Aria Blaze, and Sonata Dusk, once the most terrifying creatures of all of Equestria now reduced to mere human beings. However they still have their abilities of song, and can still manipulate the minds of others to adore them. One night while collecting energy, they come across something mysterious, something they never expected to find, something that will change their lives, especially the life of their leader forever.

Several months after the events of Rainbow Rocks, the Dazzlings return with a plan to tear apart the group of girls responsible for the destruction of their gems.

But the Dazzlings aren't the only ones with a plan, as the humane 6 hope to reform the trio before they do something everyone may regret. But the girls may get more than they bargained for as they learn the circumstances of the sirens lives, and the rift that they only helped widen.

This story also involves a spit contest sub plot, and if that doesn't entice you I don't know what will.

When they try talking to her she wants to hurt them, and she just stays in her room. They wonder what caused Sonata to have such a dark heart. Adagio is afraid to bother her, Aria is afraid to ask her out, Sunset and the others are angry at Sonata. But they all wonder the same question what happened?

It is recommended you read this story in one of the Dark formats in order to better distinguish the colored text of the 'other voices'.
