Lost and Found... Sort of...

It was only days after the CHS Battle of the Bands, I was sitting on a bench in front of my favorite café, drinking its delicious coffee, when I heard the voices of three girls inside the alleyway.

"Don't you understand, Sonata? It's OVER!" I heard someone say. I winced at the tone she used. Then I heard someone crying and another one of them spoke.

"I can't believe you RUINED everything! Our plan was working perfectly, and YOU messed it up!" It was then that the voice crying spoke up.

"B-but...*sniff* I didn't-" She was then cut off.

"But NOTHING! Come on Aria, let's get out of here. I don't think we'll gain anything by talking with her." said the second voice.

"I thought you'd never asked." The first voice, whose name was Aria, agreed. I heard shuffling and out of the alleyway came two hooded girls, both faces I didn't see.

"G-girls? Girls... Where are you going? Please... Don't leave."

It was too late.

They were already gone.

The girl resumed crying.

I slowly stood up, finished my drink, and walked over to the alley. I then saw a girl, estimated age of 16 or 17, curled up beside a covered trash bin and crying. She had icy blue hair with persian blue stripes running across it. Also, she had the same sweater as the two girls

Apparently, she didn't notice me and continues talking.

"Th-*Sniff* they're such... *sob* big *hiccups* meanies. I didn't *hiccups* do anything wrong. I- I don't want to be...*sob* alone."

Eventually, she started to make choked-up calls between her hiccups.

Was she... Singing? If she is, she sounded like a platypus choking on jelly (Kudos if you DON'T know the reference.)

I had enough of this sad moment and decided to make myself known. I opened the trash bin, thrown my cup, and slammed it hard, making the girl look at me. Immediately, she started to go back.

"P-please don't hurt me." She said. Granted, I look intimidating because of my height, but I'm more of a 'gentle giant' as I would call myself. I walked towards her and rubbed her back ever so slightly.

"Shh, it's okay. I'm not going to hurt you. I'm Casper Nocturne but you can call me Cass. What's yours?" I said.

"*sniff*...S-Sonata Dusk." She said.

I sat beside her and we both didn't talk. The silence wasn't comfortable, nor is it awkward.

"So, why were those girls angry with you?" I said, deciding to break the silence. Sonata then looked away, looking hurt.

"I'm sorry. I overheard you girls and I-"

"No, it's alright." She said. As she wiped her eye with a sleeve. "They were... Old friends. We were going to rule the world, and we messed up and now we can't sing anymore. They thought that it was my fault, but it wasn't and I don't know why, but they left me when we've been together for years and-" She started to cry again. Out of instinct, I placed my arm on her shoulder and tried to soothe her.

"Shh, It's okay. Let it all out." I said. Suddenly, she wrapped her arms around my torso and placed her head on my chest. This action surprised me and it left me with one question:

What do I do now?

I stayed still for a while, until she stopped crying. When she did, we remained in that place for some time. I didn't know what time it was, so I looked at my watch.

10:30 PM

I then pushed her slightly.

""It's getting late. How about I walk you home?" I asked she sniffed.

"I don't have a home." Wait... WHAT?!

"What do you mean you don't have a home?" I asked.

"I don't have a home." She repeated. "I just follow those girls everywhere." she said.

"But, do you have a family or anything?" I asked. She shook her head.

"Well, If you want, I guess you could stay-" I was interrupted by Sonata bear-hugging me.

"YES!" She said, squeezing me tight. She then realized what she did and pushed her self away. "I mean, 'yes, please'"

I looked at her with a blank stare. "OK, then, let's go." I said and we started to walk towards my home. On the way, the air began to be a bit chilly, so I pocketed both my hands into my pockets. Suddenly, I felt a pair of arms wrapping around my arm and cuddled up next to me. Instinctively, I quickly slithered my arm out of her grasp.

"Whoa, what are you doing?"

"It's cold. " She replied. I looked at her blankly and then shrugged.

"Fine. You can hold my arm. But no cuddling." I said.

"YAY!" she said, almost destroying the veins in my arm. I sighed and continued walking.

Eventually, the two of us reached my house. It was a simple bungalow, but it was just enough for me. I pulled out the keys in my wallet and unlocked the door.

"Well, we're here." I said.

The inside wasn't much. Just a living room, a kitchen, a bathroom, and a bedroom. We both didn't say anything for a while. She then looked at me and smiled. I also wanted to smile, but a yawn has escaped my mouth."

"Alright, you can sleep in the bedroom over there. I'll sleep on the floor" I said.

"Wait, it's your house, I should sleep on the floor." Sonata said. I was very tired and I need to sleep, so I said something that I would've regretted.

"How about we both sleep in my bed?" I said, another yawn escaping my mouth. "That way, no one would sleep on the floor."

"OK" Sonata said. Immediately, I took off my jacket and shirt, changing into a sleeveless shirt and I went to bed, not caring anything anymore, except the sweet comfort of sleep.

But sometimes, the things we had in our sleep weren't always the sweetest ones.

Breakfast at Casper's

View Online

I was floating... Floating in a never-ending abyss of darkness.

Then, just as I opened my eyes, green mist started to appear out of nowhere. Then, three figures started approaching. Noises then came from one of the figures. And from the noises came pitch, pitch became tone, and the tone became music.

That music... I think it was the most beautiful music I've heard. But... Something isn't right. This music... Makes me feel furious about something... But what?

The two figures then started to go with the first figure. Then, I saw plenty of people around me arguing and the green mist below us starts to thicken. The smoke then started to move towards the three figures and absorbed by three gems on each figure. Then, out of the three figures came the loudest screech I've ever heard.

It was so loud, that I had to cover my ears, but to no avail as the sound continued to invade my ear. I knelt, praying to stop the dreadful noise that keeps pounding in my ears. Then, I saw a faint light and a swish from a blade, as well as two voices screaming. There was silence for a while. I looked up and saw that I was on a hill. On top of that hill, were two figures. The one was the figure from before, a girl with a long pony tail that reaches her waist, and a boy who was holding a white sword. I couldn't see both their faces because of the sun behind them. Both of them were looking at each other. They started to close the gap between them and as they were an inch , the sun brightly shined behind them, blinding me and waking me up to the new day ahead of me.

I woke up, feeling the rays of the sun shining brightly on my face. I tried to get up, only to find out that something heavy from my chest down is holding me down. I looked at my chest and saw Sonata sleeping peacefully.

Wait... Why is she here? Memories from last night came crashing down on me. That's right, I let her sleep with me... On... My... Bed.

"I SLEPT ON THE BED WITH HER?!" I thought to myself as I started to mentally scold myself.

"Idiot! Why in the seven seals of the apocalypse did you let yourself in this place?! Your mother taught you better than this, you stupid fu-" Oh, she's waking up.

She yawned as she opened her eyes and smiled at me.

"Good Morning." She said, snapping me out of my stupor.

"Good morning." I returned. "Can you please get from me so I can make breakfast?"

She then realized the place she was in and quickly got off me.

"Sorry." She said with a slight blush as she rubbed the back of her neck. I have to admit, she's cute when she blushes.

I sat on the bed, opened my drawer, and took out some clothes. It was a sleeveless, white shirt and a pair of trousers. I then took off my shirt, when I suddenly remembered that Sonata was still here. I looked at her and she was looking at me, more preferably, by toned chest. Apparently, she started to blush as she realized that i caught her looking at me.

"Sonata, would you please wait downstairs while I change?" I asked. She nodded and left, closing the door on the way out.

I sighed. Today was a weekend and I was very happy that it is, due to the pressure in school and the late-night studies I had to pull out every night. After taking a bath and changing to my new clothes, I went downstairs to see Sonata is holding the TV remote and curiously looking at it. She then decided to press a button and it happened to be the On button, turning on the TV and showing a cartoon show that appears every 8:30. She tilted her head and continued to watch as Jerry outwitted Tom once more. I then approached her and tapped her shoulder.

"Hey, what do you want for breakfast?" I asked.

"Tacos." She said.

"Are you sure? We don't have the necessary ingredients for it." I said. She hung her head and looked at me with a pout. I managed not to fall for that and got an idea.

"But, I think I know what will be the next best thing." I said.

I unlocked my phone and attached my earphones as I went to the kitchen and played "Brazil- The Office" just for gags.

I started to grease the frying pan and placed it on an open stove. While the oil gets heated, I then cracked a few eggs into beat them into a bowl and wiped each side of bread and placed it in the pan, cooking the egg. After a few minutes, I flipped the cooking bread to let the egg on the other side cook. Finally, after making sure both sides of the bread had cooked eggs, I turned off the stove.

Basically, if you don't know yet, it's french toast. My style.

"Sonata, Breakfast is ready." I called her. But when she didn't, I started to find her still hypnotized by the television, which was now watching "My Little Puppies". I was never a fan of the show, but I tend to watch it for the sake of wasting spending time properly.

I then shook Sonata, snapping her out of her self-hypnosis.

"Ghuh? What?" She said looking around and spotting me. "Oh, hey Cass, what's for breakfast?" She asked.

"Um... French Toast." I said as I walked back to the kitchen. "It's ready, if you're going to ask."

She then followed me as I served the bread on a plate and placed it on the table.

"Careful, it's still hot." I said. After a few seconds, I took a piece of bread and began to eat it. Sonata did the same and she made a small sound of delight.

"This is good." She said with her mouth full.

"Sonata, please don't talk with your mouth full." I said after swallowing. She only nodded as she took another piece of bread.

I then noticed that she was still wearing the clothes she had yesterday.

"Hey, Sonata." I said, causing her to look at me.

"Do you have any spare clothes?" I asked. She was about to speak up when she remembered what I said to her. She swallowed and spoke up.

"Yeah, but Adagio threw them away. She said it attracted too much attention and she forced me to wear this sweater. I don't like it, it itches too much." She said as she scratches her arms.

"Ok then." I said as I stood up and started to go upstairs. "I'll change my clothes first, then we're going out." I said.

"For what?" She asked.

"You'll see." I said, adding a wink to her and the two of us hit the road.

A Rare Help

View Online

"So where are we going?" Asked Sonata as the two of us walked down the busy street, passing Sugarcube Corner.

"Well, first we're going to a clothes store so we'll get you new clothes, next we'll head to the supermarket and buy us some ingredients for tacos..." I said when she spoke up.

"Wait, did you just said tacos?!" She asked.

"Yeah." I said when she began to ramble things about tacos and how she never had one before and etc. I just tuned out her voice as I went to my train of thoughts. Finally, the two of us were at Carousel Boutique, where the finest clothes were made by the expert hand of Rarity Belle, the store manager and a fellow student at CHS.

"Well, we're here." I said to Sonata as she stopped rambling and looked at the building.

"Where are we?" She asked.

"We're at Carousel Boutique. 'Where everything is chic, unique and magnifique'." I said, quoting the store's catchphrase. "This is where we're going to get clothes for you."

Sonata nodded and continued to look at the building. I opened the door, causing the bell just above it to ring, and we both entered the building.

"Rarity? Are you here?" I asked as I looked at Sonata, whose jaw was hanging slightly, maybe because the dresses before us were all well-made. Sonata looked at me and I could see in her eyes that she wanted to look at some of the clothes. I just smiled and nodded, causing her to squeal in excitement. But it ended when Rarity entered the room. I then saw Sonata pulled down her hood and ran behind me.

"Oh, hello Casper, what can I do for you?" Rarity asked.

"I came here because she..." I stepped aside to point at Sonata."... Needs some new clothes. You see, she doesn't have any other clothes."

"But of course, darling, I'll be more than happy to." Rarity said as she took out a tape measure. "I just need to take her measurements." She said as she looked at Sonata. "Darling, would you mind taking off your hood so I could take a better look at you?" Sonata flinched and hid her face behind my back as Rarity took a step forward. I looked at Sonata and saw her eyes filled with fear. I turned around and placed both my on her shoulders.

"It's alright. Nothing bad's gonna happen to you." I said. Sonata looked like a bit of fear left her, but she was still scared. Then she slightly pushed me aside, and looked at the ground. Slowly, she took off her hood, and I heard Rarity gasp. I looked at Rarity and her face was had a mix emotion of fear, surprise and confusion.

"What?" I asked. Suddenly, Rarity was now in front of Sonata, who was shaking.

"What happened to you?" She asked Sonata, who jerked away and ran behind me.

"You know her?" I asked.

"Yes, but not in good terms." Rarity replied. "What happened to the poor dear." She asked. I then told her what happened last night. After I was done, she began to mumble something about sirens or something.

"Well, then. Let's get her measurements." Rarity said as she looked at Sonata. "Come along now, Sonata, dearie." Said Rarity and Sonata carefully followed her behind a curtain. I think it took about half an hour or so just to get Sonata's measurements. Sonata skipped out with a giggle, while Rarity walked out, tired and her hair messed up.

"Holy cow, what did Sonata do to her?" I thought as Sonata skipped towards me.

"So how was it?" I asked.

"It was fun. Rarity kept tickling me with a weird string, though." She said. I raised my eyebrow and looked at Rarity, who was breathing heavily. I walked towards her.

"What the heck happened?" I asked.

"I swear, Sonata is exactly like Pinkie Pie. She keeps moving, but I still managed to get her measurements." She said, holding up a piece of crumpled paper. She then fell to the floor, exhausted. Geez, Sonata really did a number on her. I proceeded to carry her to the couch and placed her there to rest for a bit. After leaving a note, I turned my attention to Sonata.

"C'mon Sonata, We'll go to the grocery next." I said. She then lets out a joyful shout.

You know, sometimes I wonder if she's a kid in a teenager's body, or she's really that immature. Ah well.

We then went to Canterlot Supermarket and bought some groceries and proceeded to go home, both of us with a paper bag in our arms. Along the way, we passed by the café I loved so much when Sonata pulled my arm.

"I forgot to get something from there." Sonata said. I sighed and took the bag from her and followed her to the alleyway where I first met her.

Sonata and I stood before a large, yellow dumpster, fairly hard to miss in the alley. When she opened the dumpster, I gasped in surprise. Inside the dumpster was very clean, like it never had any forms of trash in it. It even looked like it was cleaned regularly.

Anyway, enough about that. Sonata took a some clothes, a small pouch with what looked like shattered red glass in it and a small, folded piece of paper that was attached to it. She opened the paper and read what was inside of it. Then tears came to Sonata's face as she continued to read the letter.

"Hey, what's the matter?" I asked. She said nothing, but she gave me the paper and hid her face between her knees. I began to read the paper silently.

"Sonata,

Assuming you can read this,

Like we told you, it's OVER! Don't come looking for us. The magic we faced was gone, but it has to come somewhere in this world. And if there is, maybe there's a way back to Equestria home. But even then, all you'd ever do is follow us even to Tartarus and back. You're nothing more than a stupid, ignorant fool who can't even sing! So whatever you do, Don't follow us. And stay out of MY Equestria. You deserve to die alone in this pathetic human world as a human.

You're the worst,

Aria Blaze."

I then looked at Sonata, who looked at the red shard on her hand with a longing gaze. She sniffed and wiped her eyes, and stuffed the shards back into the pouch again. I might ask her about it later, but it was already 1:45 P.M. and we still haven't had lunch yet.

"C'mon Sonata, let's go home so you could wash up." I said. She didn't smile, but lets out a small "Mhmm." of agreement and she stood up, following me to my home.

Back at my place, I brought her to the bathroom. It appeared that Sonata doesn't know how to use a shower, so I taught her how it works. She leaves me one of her outfits, which I placed immediately on a towel rack behind the door, and she gave me her old outfit. I was outside of course. I'm not a pervert.

I then leave her be to clean up. As Sonata was busy, I head back to my room to get my dirty laundry. As I entered, I noticed that my bed covers were full of dirt, probably from Sonata's old clothes. I sighed and included them in my laundry. After placing all the laundry in my washing machine, I opened up my laptop and searched on for mental hospital breakouts in Canterlot, hoping that Sonata and her friends wasn't in the search. Thankfully, they weren't the only breakout it had been someone about a certain "Screw Loose". I don't care about that, I just cared about Sonata.

I then decided to make lunch, as the menu is... Tacos.

Quickly, I started making them and when I finished, I quickly opened the website of the local news for Canterlot.

There was the usual, robberies, a new statue opening...

And there was this.

"Musical Showcase in Canterlot High turned to Battle of the Bands."

I was immediately curious, since I wasn't there at that time due to studies, so I opened the link.

At the beginning of the article was a picture of seven girls, including Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, the new nice girl in the school, Sunset Shimmer, and a purple-haired girl in outrageous outfits that made my inner girl scream one thing:

"What the hell are these girls wearing? They must be burned immediately. The public must not see these abominations any longer."

Yeah, I laughed at that myself. I began to read the article. There were even a few videos, but I didn't play them. Too boring.

Below the first paragraph of the article was another picture, it was the "Dazzlings" or so they called themselves. From right to left was Aria Blaze, Adagio Dazzle and...

No way...

Sonata Dusk...

I pulled the letter in my trousers and looked at the name below

"Aria Blaze."

This has got to be some sort of trick. Their eyes were glowing bright red and they were floating on the stage. I looked closer at the photo, but there were no signs of wires helping them do so. I looked at Sonata's picture again. I did not like the smile on her face. It was... Twisted and it seemed evil, not like the one she usually wears.

I continued reading the article. The viewers talked mostly about the special effects they had.

I then thought of something. Why would Sonata feel bad about the aftermath of the showcase? Did something happen that night that took something important to her? So many questions invaded my mind that I didn't notice Sonata come out of the room until she called me.

"Hey, Cass?" She said. I immediately closed my laptop in reflex. She was standing below the staircase, wearing a dark violet red collar jacket, a light pink mini skirt with emphasizing stitching and high boots.

Her friends were right though, it did attract too much attention. But I just thought it was cute. She then looked at the red shards on her hand

"So, Sonata?" I asked as she looked up to me. "What happened to the musical showcase?"

She then sat down on the first step of the stairs.

"Oh yeah, that." She said, frowning a bit.

"Did something happen there?" I asked.

She said nothing as she bit her lower lip, as if she was thinking about something. She then decided to talk.

"Well, Adagio told me that I shouldn't tell anyone about the Siren Gems and how they make us sing so ponies and people would do what we say..."

"Wait, what are Siren Gems?" I asked. Sonata immediately stiffened and gave me a blank stare.

"Um, never mind. Forget I said anything." She said.

"Sorry, but I need to know." I said. Sonata looked at me more annoyed than upset. She walked over to me and sat beside me, hands on her lap.

"Adagio said that we'd be adored. That we wouldn't need to worry about looking for places to cause trouble and feed." She looked down and continued. "I only wanted to have fun. I thought that they would stop hating me if we made it all the way." Tears then started to appear in Sonata's eyes.

I didn't understand a lot of that as my brain processes everything that she said. I don't know about you, but to me, this looks like black magic that you don't want to deal with.

But despite that, she seemed absolutely upset about this.

"So you were only in this to please those girls?" I asked. She nodded silently. "And you can't sing because of that broken gem, right?" She nodded again. I stood up and looked at her.

"I bet you could sing again, even without that old thing." I said.

"*sniff* R-really?" She asked.

"That is, if you'll let me help you." I said, holding my hand out to her. She smiled and took my hand and I helped her stand up.

"OK, try singing something for me." I said. Sonata hesitates at first, but then made an attempt.

At that time, I completely forgot about one thing:

Her singing was very... Discorded, to say at least.

I had to stop her short to spare my ears. But from what I heard, she could actually hold a pitch.

"This is going to take some work." I said as I started to train Sonata.

Practice Session

View Online

We spent the rest of the day working on Sonata's singing. Pitch control, breathing exercises, everything. Sonata followed me to the note, and every single note she could sing, beautifully even! But, she couldn't sing any of those in any combination, like it was subconsciously messed up. As Sonata failed to sing properly, I noticed that she was getting more and more furious.

It was already 10:00 in the evening when we realized what time it is. I also realized that both of us still hadn't eaten the tacos I cooked up for lunch. We decided to reheat it and eat it for dinner. We both ate in silence as I noticed Sonata in a somber mood. I then swallowed the food in my mouth and talked to her.

"Hey, what's wrong?" I asked.

"Nothing." Sonata said.

"You sure you don't want to talk about it?" I pressed further. She suddenly got furious and threw the taco in her hand.

"Ugh! Why can't I find my voice?!" She screamed as she stood up. And judging by her tone, I knew she was going to get things off her chest.

"I've work so hard, you know that Cass, but even if I'm trying hard, nothing happens! What did I do wrong?! Is the world punishing me for something I did? Is that why..." She lowered her head and tears began to cry. "... No one likes me?"

I felt sorry for her, as I was in her situation before. I think it's time I give you some dirt about me. When I was in elementary, kids my age tend to pick on me. I don't know why they do it, but they said something about me being different. And after the kids would bully me, I would go straight to the school library, which every kid tries to avoid, because beside of its rumor of being haunted, the place was very quiet. The library was my haven. I was safe inside the great fortress of paper. One day, a teacher noticed me in the library instead of learning in class along with the rest of the kids. She asked me why I was there, but I didn't talk to her. Everyday since then, she would visit me in the library and tried to talk to me. A few times, she would even give me small treat just to see if that would make me talk to her. I didn't, but I still ate the treats. At one point, I started talking to her and eventually, I warmed up to her. Everyday, she would teach me in the library and we would often talk about each other. We laughed, (silently of course, as we were in the library) we shared our good times and bad, and basically hang our there.

Sadly, all good things must come to an end, but I think I'll save the rest of this tale for another time. For now, we must get back with the present.

I stood up, placing my taco on a plate and gently hugged Sonata. She immediately returned the hug as she bawled into my chest. I placed my hand in her back and rubbed her gently.

"Shh. It's Okay. Let it all out." I said, soothing her until whimper came our of her mouth. Both of us sat down but remained in that place. Finally, she let go of me and I looked into her raspberry eyes.

"Better?" I asked. She merely nodded and I picked up once again the taco from the plate and gave it to her. Even though she knew it was mine, she still took and ate it. I wasn't really that hungry anyway.

I waited until she was finished and I took the used dishes and placed them into the sink. I then went upstairs and took out a white shirt and my old PJ s and gave it to Sonata.

"Here." I said. "Since your pajamas are still being made, you should use this. It can get chilly at night, so you can use my blanket."

"Thanks, Cass. I'm sorry I made a mess, and I couldn't find my voice." She said, disheartened by the achievement we had done. I smiled a bit and for some unknown reason, I tenderly kissed her forehead and looked at her.

"Don't be so down, Sonata. I'm sure we'll find your voice. But for now, we must rest that voice of yours before it gets scratchy." I said. Sonata was surprised by my actions and was now as red as an apple. She only nodded and walked to the bathroom to get changed.

As for me, I simply walked to the bedroom and changed my clothes back to a simple sleeveless and trousers. Immediately, I fell on the bed, made sure Sonata has room on the bed, and quickly fell asleep.

Only to have nightmares come out to get me...

"Aaahhh ahhh ahhh, ahhhh ahhh~"

Those voices again. Those melodies, just as beautiful as the last time. Then, those other voices, arguing. The same green mist rising from the crowd. Floating to the same gems as I have seen in the previous dream. Suddenly, a blast shattered the gems, revealing an orange and a violet seahorses... The two spotted me and floated over me. I realized the danger I was in and tried to run, only to find myself rooted to the spot. The singing got louder as the two seahorses approached.

"Ahh Aahh! Ahh hah Ahhh"

The two stopped and floated above of me a few feet away and out came two red sonic booms from their mouths. I awaited the impact, but a third seahorse appeared in front of me and unleashed a blue sonic boom to counter the red ones. The seahorse in front of me struggled to overpower them, but I instantly felt the need to cheer for it.

"You can do it! Believe in yourself. I do!" I shouted. The icy blue seahorse in front of me looked at me from the corner of her innocent raspberry eyes and gained a giant boost of confidence. And with all of its might, it unleashed the most powerful blast I've ever seen. It was powerful, but it didn't knocked me away. In fact, it was soothing.

The orange and violet seahorses roared in pain as the icy blue seahorse continued to blast them with its voice until the orange and violet seahorses faded out of existence. When the two seahorses were gone, the icy blue seahorse floated down to me and looked at me with its innocent, raspberry-colored eyes. It leaned towards me and I did the same.

"Battle!" I heard a voice and When I opened my eyes, the orange seahorse was in front of me and tried to bite my face off.

I shot up from my bed, covered with sweat and shaking from head to toe.

"It was j-just a d-dream, Cass. G-get a h-hold of your-yourself." I told myself.

But something in my hand isn't. I opened my clenched fist and inside revealed a red shard, the same one from Sonata's pouch. The shard caught the moonlight peering through the window, reflecting a bit of light through it.

"Hey Cass, have you seen a piece of my..." Sonata stopped talking as she saw me holding the red shard.

What are "Siren Gems"?

View Online

The two of us stared at each other for a time. She continuously looked at the shard in my hand. Quickly, she took it from my hand and placed the shard in her pouch.

"So, what are the 'Siren Gems'." I asked. Sonata bit her lip, her face marked with fear.

"I... It's kinda hard to explain." She said, slowly.

"Try me." I said.

"I thought they didn't work anymore..." She said. I was very confused and scared for the first time I've been with her.

"But what is it? What can it do? I need to know." I said, my tone rising a bit, which kinda scares me. Sonata also didn't know how to respond and was looking on either side in a slight panic.

"I-it's not what you think it is." She said as she started to hyperventilating a bit.

"Then what is it? Please Sonata. I need to know." I demanded. I was now scared at this point, because when I raise my voice, my temper is going out of control.

"I... I have to leave!" She said, running out of the room. I grabbed her by the shoulder and pulled her in a hug. She slowly started to calm down as she felt my heartbeat close to her. It was soft, but it kept itself in a smooth rhythm that she found it soothing. I looked at her, her eyes wide and panicked, gleaming under the moonlight.

"I-I'm not going to hurt you. I promise I will not tell anyone about this. Please... I need to you to tell me why am I having these nightmares and why I found that shard in my hand when I woke up." I said. "Just tell me... Please."

Sonata stared at me, silently. After a moment, she looked down, her eyes closed tightly. I saw tears threatening to fall out from her face. Suddenly, she hugged me and cried loudly.

"I want to go home! I... I never wanted to come here... I-I never wanted to be with those girls!" She wailed into my shirt. I then hugged her as tight as I could without hurting her. I know most guys would enjoy this and take advantage of the situation, but I advice those who are reading this: Don't. This is a very serious situation and you are just using the girl as an object.

I felt concern and a deep sadness for her. She got involved in something she never wanted to do. I never wanted to do that to her anymore. I made a solemn oath to myself to take care of her forever.

I held her closer, my embrace seems to calm her down. When I looked at her, she was already asleep. She looks so peaceful... But we were still in the middle of the room standing. I carried her bridal style and placed her on the right side of the bed. I lied down on the other side and slept peacefully for the first time in days.

When I opened my eyes, I was greeted by sunlight. And under that sunlight, was Sonata's sleeping form. Her hands still clutched the pouch containing the shards. I found it hard not to stare at it. Nothing about those shards seemed right. My thoughts were suddenly interrupted by the growling of my stomach. I slowly got up from the bed, trying not to wake up Sonata. Luckily, she didn't stir, and after changing clothes, I started to make breakfast.

I checked my fridge for anything, and I'm lucky I bought groceries with Sonata yesterday. I took out my leftover rice, a two pieces of garlic, and three pieces of eggs and made fried rice. Eventually, I spot Sonata going out of the room, stretching. She must've woke up because of the smell of breakfast.

"Morning!" I said cheerfully as I mixed the rice in the pan. She gave a gentle smile as she sat down at the table.

I then placed the cooked rice in two separate bowls and served one to Sonata, who began chowing down as soon as I left the bowl alone. I chuckled and as I began to eat, I paused.

"Sonata... I'm sorry about last night." I said. Her face was stuffed, but her face made a frown. She chewed her food and swallowed.

"It's alright, Cass. By the way, this is delicious!" She exclaimed.

I smiled, relieved that she didn't hold grudges. I took a spoonful of my food. I made a great job with the rice.

"Now, about that gem." I said. Almost expectedly, Sonata slowed in her eating.

"Look, like I said last night I won't tell anyone and I promise I won't think any different of you. I don't know what it is, or why I keep having these strange dreams, and I think that..." I pointed at the pouch beside her. "... is the reason."

Sonata paused, then swallowed the food in her mouth.

"Maybe you can start with where you came from?"

She glanced over to me, before looking back to her bowl.

"It's been so long since I've seen Equestria. I can't even remember what it looked like." She said.

"How did you end here then?"

"I was following Adagio's lead. We used the Siren Gems to cause the ponies to fight. It was funny at first, and we gained power from it. But as time went by, I only went along with it to make them happy."

"So how did you make these ponies fight?" I asked.

"Our Siren Gems can make us sing, and when we do, we can control them.

"And you make all of them fight one another, right?" I concluded. She nodded and continued.

"We then gain power from the negative energy they release."

"But then what happened?" I asked. She lowered her head for a moment and looked at me.

"We were banished here."

"So, correct me if I got all of this."

I tried to recall all that she said for the last one and a half hour.

"You're a Siren from Equestria that helped your fellow Sirens gain power by making every pony in that land fight each other so all of you can absorb the negative energy from it, making you more powerful, but then that old pony banished you from the land and left you here for centuries, but then you found out that there is a new source of Equestrian magic here, so you tried to take over the place, which is at CHS, which is also my school. Then you turned the musical showcase into a battle of the bands that eventually lead to your Siren Gem to shatter into pieces. Then after a few days, the other sirens that you came with abandoned you, saying that you're dead weight to them, and that was when I found you. Is all of that correct?" I said.
Sonata's eyes were swirling around her head, probably because if the information overload she experienced. She shook head out of confusion and then nodded.

I was unbelievably confused. This girl was either telling the truth or was messing with me. The two of us stared at each other for sometime while I was thinking of what she said. She doesn't look like the lying type, but I know that looks can be deceiving. Well, I guess I have to see what's at the end of this messy rabbit hole.

"Ok, I believe you." I said.

Sonata looked at me with a bright smile on her face, something that I came to miss.

"Really?" She said. I nodded.

"Oh thank you! Thank you so much!" She said as she gave me a bear hug. Ow. She got some power behind those hugs.

"So, do you *pant pant* know where the Rainbooms are now?" I asked.

"I don't know. Maybe they're at the school now?" She suggested.

"Are you sure? It's a Sunday. Kids usually don't go to school at weekends. Unless they all have extracurricular activities."

"I don't know. How about we check in the school?" She said. I looked at the clock and saw that it was close to noon.

"Why not? I guess we could also get a light lunch after this at Sugarcube Corner." I said. She agreed and I cleaned the table and went outside with Sonata as we proceeded to go to CHS.

Finding the Rainbooms

View Online

After getting ready, and planning a few things, we head over to CHS. It was still a Sunday, so not many students will be there, thus making our spying easier. Actually, now that I thought about it, they were in a band after all, so they might be in the Music room.

We were at the front of the school and saw that there were only a handful of cars parked, so we weren't alone. The school was mostly unlocked because of the club students, so we walked in.

A bit of chit-chat echoed down the halls, but no type of musical instruments of the sort were played. I turned and looked at Sonata, who was glancing around, slightly worried. I took her hand and I squeezed it gently.
"Don't worry. I won't let the girls get you if they see you." I said. She seemed to relax at this, but I could still see her worries. Walking down the hall, we passed by a couple of students, either giving me or Sonata strange glances, but none of them were extreme.

As we passed the library, I noticed from the corner of my eye soft, pink hair. It was Fluttershy!

We ran to the library and tried to talk to Fluttershy. When she turned around, she gasped and ran away before I could even ask questions. We tried to follow her, but she managed to get away with the help of her bike.

"Do you think that girl will tell the others about me?" Sonata asked.

"No doubt about that. But if you would think about it, what can they do to you? Sing at you? You don't have any magic left right? So, I don't think you're in danger." She chuckled.

"Yeah, I think you're right. I still wish I could sing, though." She said, frowning a bit. I also frowned a bit at this.

"... You really didn't know what you had 'till you lost it, huh?" I said. Her silence and her longing and guilty expression told me enough. I gave her a hug and whispered in her ear.

"Don't worry. We'll get you your voice back." I said, pulling myself out of the hug. "But you have to promise me not to use it for evil, okay?" She nodded.

"Right, now let's go eat at Sugarcube Corner." I said. Suddenly, we both heard a pair of growling stomachs. Both of us blushed in embarrassment.

"Looks like we'll change that one into a more heavy lunch, don't you think?"

We then approached Sugarcube Corner, and surprisingly, the Rainbooms were there. We were surprised that the girls we were looking for was in here. And it seemed that they were all surprised as well. Fluttershy was behind Rarity, maybe scared of Sonata, perhaps? Anyway, Rarity and Sunset Shimmer looked at us with wide eyes, Applejack was looking at us, trying to see what will we do, and Rainbow Dash was glaring at us.

I ignored them for a second to buy me and Sonata's lunch, which were half a dozen cupcake. For our drinks, I asked for a milkshake while Sonata asked for a strawberry milkshake. And when we got our order, Pinkie decided to hit me with questions like a minigun.

"Whyisthisgirlwithyou?Didyouknowthatshe'sasiren?Issheusinghermindpowerstocontrolyou?Orareyoufollowingherordersbecauseyouwantto?Doesthatmeanyouhaveacrushonher?Ordoessdhelikeyou? ' ?Isthatwhyyouturnedhimintoamind-controlledzombie?Wait,what'sthatsmell?Ohno,itsmycupcakes! 'tgoanywhere." And with that, she ran inside. I quickly grabbed Sonata and our food and took off.

"HEY! I WASN'T FINISHED TALKING TO YOU!" Pinkie screamed as she goes out of the store

We finished our lunch and properly disposed our trash, we went home and decided to practice on Sonata's voice, only to find a very special surprise.

"Ok, let's try this one more time. I know that you can do this." I said. "You just need to believe in yourself." Sonata was tired, but she tried one last time. She inhaled deeply and what came out of her mouth surprised me and her.

"Aahh, aahh, ahh, ahh~"

She stopped singing and her eyes widened, as well as mine. We both looked at each other for a while until tears started to come out of her eyes.

"I can sing again." Sonata whispered. "I can sing again!" She exclaimed as she smiled widely and gave me a bear-hug, lifting and spun me around until I got dizzy. When she stopped spinning me, she then kissed me. And it wasn't on the cheek. No, it was a full-on kiss on the lips.

I think I'll quote on Ingrid Bergman on this one.

"A kiss is a lovely trick designed by nature to stop speech when words become superfluous"

And I never knew it was so lovely.

School Day Part 1

View Online

I didn't expect this to happen...

She was kissing me right on the lips. And this was my very first kiss. Yet... I don't feel anything about it.

To be honest, nothing happened after that. After Sonata broke the kiss, I stood there like a statue.

"Cass? Casper, are you OK?" She asked.

"Y-yeah, j-just give me a minute." I said as I started to move my body a bit stiffly.

"Ok, let's go to bed." I said as I walked to the bedroom. I didn't even remember to set my alarm clock that night. I just fell asleep as soon as I entered the bedroom, my brain finally went overload due to that kiss. I landed on the floor with a large thud and I was out cold for the entire night.

"Ooh whoa! Ooh whoa! You didn't know that you fell~"

In the darkness, I floated effortlessly. my worry and fear grow stronger as the song grew louder. green mist once again swirled around me and thickens.

"Ooh whoa! Ooh whoa~"

I then saw a figure dancing in the shadows from the corner of my eye. Then, there was a flash of blue hair and a glimmer of raspberry. The figure looked and pointed at my direction.

"Now that you're under my spell~"

I woke up on my bed with a headache. I felt my forehead and discovered a small bump on it. I then came to notice Sonata's sleeping form as I got out of the bed. Her face was filled with worry, probably because of what happened last night. Before I could think further, I remembered what day it is.

Monday.

Oh sh*t.

I looked at the clock.

7:30 AM. We're late!

I quickly shook Sonata.

"Sonata, wake up! We're late for school!" I said. Sonata woke up.

"Huh? Whu?" She asked.

"There's no time. take a bath and get dressed." I said. She was confused, but she quickly followed. When she was in the bathroom, I quickly took off my clothes and replaced them with my usual school outfit: a simple blue and white shirt and a pair of trousers. I quickly went to the kitchen and toasted four bread and spreading them both with butter. Once Sonata was out of the bathroom, I forgot that I haven't bathe yet, much to my annoyance. I quickly took off my clothes (In the bathroom of course) and showered quickly. When I got out, I went to the kitchen and gave the toasted bread to Sonata.

"Here. Eat this while walking." I said and we both left. Sonata was trying hard to catch up to me while I brisk walked to school.

"Cass, wait up!" She said, panting a bit.

"Fine, but please hurry. I can't soil my perfect attendance record." I said. She looked at me funny and continued walking.

Thankfully, we made it just in time for the bell to ring. We made it to my first class, Mathematics.

As the teacher continued talking, I noticed Rarity was texting.

"Found her in my Math class." She typed and sent it to whoever. The phone buzzed and she read the message.

"How did she get there?" said the message.

"Casper snuck her in. He's sitting right next to her." Rarity typed back.

"Well, don't do anything but keep an eye out on them." It replied. Rarity looked at my direction and caught me looking at her phone.

"They're eyeing my phone. We'll talk later." She puts away her phone and looked forward, stiff as a board. If her skin wasn't as white as that, she'd already be as pale as a ghost. She seems to be wary of me and Sonata.

At last, the bell rung and class ended. I looked at Sonata, who was staring at the space in front of her with her eyes as small as pins. I woke her up from her math-induced coma. She shook her head.

"Ugh, what happened?" She asked as she held her head with her hands.

"You spaced out from the beginning of the lesson."

"That hurts my brain. I didn't understand a single thing." She exclaimed.

"Shh. Don't shout it out. The teachers will get angry. Besides, no one in that class, except me understands the lessons, probably because I'm the only one who pays attention in class." I said. "I think you'll like the next class."

Arts Class was next.

The teacher asked us to sketch something and present it into class. I looked at Sonata, who immediately grabbed a pencil and started sketching. Me? I took out my graphing notebook, which also serves as my drawing notebook and copied off one of my drawing. It was a drawing similar to the Assassin's Creed logo, but i made a few adjustments so no one could notice.

When we are finished, we presented our work in class. To my surprise, Sonata sketched herself and me walking in a park, with her holding my hand and her head on my shoulder. I instantly blushed at this. It looked so lifelike that I can't stop my mind from imagining the events that could happen. When Sonata was finished, almost everyone in the class looked at me, especially a girl with a wide smile that could tear her face apart, and a pink, poofy hair. I got even more red when Sonata came back to her seat, which was right next to me.

Suddenly, a paper airplane hit me in the head. It was pink covered with blue spots.

I unfold it and saw the words. "HI, CASS!" on it. I looked at who flew that paper and saw Pinkie waving her hands in my direction. After that, she made another airplane and I flew it my way. Fortunately, I caught the plane before it hit my eye. I opened it and it read "PLZ DON'T HYPNOTIZE ME" I looked at her and saw that Pinkie was rolling her eyes and making zombie impressions.

I suddenly felt a dark aura beside me. it was the teacher standing over me. Right, I forgot that she didn't like notes. I turned to look at her, but her attention wasn't at me. it was at Sonata. The teacher was praising Sonata's work and told her that she'd hang her sketch up and asked if Sonata could meet her after school. Sonata agreed and the school bell rang.

Pinkie was long gone when I looked at her seat.

Lunch Time

I sat down on my usually empty table with Sonata.

"I never knew school is so much fun, Cass." Sonata said after swallowing the contents of her mouth. "I never really attended classes here with Aria and Adagio before."

"Really? Then where were you three the entire time?" I asked.

"We were behind the bleachers at the soccer field, listening mostly to Adagio's plan."

I nodded and saw Sunset Shimmer pass behind Sonata. She was looking at me curiously. She then proceeded to sit at her usual table, along with the other girls, who were surprisingly not there.

"SUNSET SHIMMER!" Screamed Pinkie as soon as she and the girls entered the cafeteria. Pinkie then ran to her and shook her crazy.

"GUESS WHO I SAW IN ARTS TODAY?!" Sunset motioned her to be quiet' as the others sat down with their trays. They had a chat for a bit, all of them exchanging glances between each other.

"Hey, Cass." Sonata said "Is something wrong?"

"The girls are here." I looked at their direction. The girls were staring at us. I gave off my signature two-finger wave, causing them to look back at their own food. They quickly finished their food and went somewhere. Before we started following them, the school bell rung, signaling the end of lunch.

Time for history class... Joy...

School Day, Part 2

View Online

History went by uneventfully. The girls weren't there, no surprise, and I think Sonata went to another coma-like state...

... Yep. That, she did...

After the bell rung, I once again woke her up from her coma and went to my final class.

(A/N: Can anyone explain to me how school works in the US? Let me know in the reviews after the chapter.)

Choir class. This will be interesting. And by interesting, I mean Sonata's going to try and sing to get in class.

"Sonata, before going to class, you have to sing for the teacher to let you in." I said.

Sonata was a bit nervous, but she nodded.

We then went to class, and our teacher, Mr. Bahner, noticed her.

"Mr. Casper, who is this girl?" He asked.

"This is Sonata Dusk. She's a new student here and she was supposed to have choir today."

"Can she sing?" He asked.

"Of course she can."

"Prove it. Ms. Dusk, if you may."

Sonata was very nervous and glanced at me. I only smiled and gave her a nod. She smiled a bit and started to sing.
"Can... Anypony..." She cleared her throat as I knew what song's gonna be. "Find me... Somepony to..?"

"Love?" I continued in a deep tone as I went to the piano and started playing. And yes, I play the piano, and the guitar...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1bffIJDTrEM

As she belts out, Flash Sentry suddenly pulls out his guitar and played it.It seemed like everyone in the class room was enjoying her song. I watched her as she twirled around. she looked so beautiful. I've never realized it until now. Her soft, icy-blue hair, her beautiful raspberry eyes...

Her soft lips...

Suddenly, Mr. Bahner surprised us by singing.

"Find her sompony to love..."

The whole classroom was shocked. Mr. Bahner was known for singing a deep bass, but we'd never thought we'd hear him sing...

Three students started singing again. "Find her somepony to love..."

The whole class repeated the line all over again as Sonata kept twirling around the air, forgetting everything around her. Suddenly, she pulled me out from the crowd and held me tight against her body.

"Can anypony find me..." She and the crowd sang as she flew down. Suddenly, she slipped and I caught her by holding her in a dipped position. She opened her eyes. That look... Wait, she planned this?

"Someponyy to... LOVE!" She sang and kissed me. RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE WHOLE CLASS!

My eyes widened at this moment, but my mind instantly lost its worries as I melt deeper in the kiss. All I heard was the class repeating the line "Find me somebody to love." at least 4 times before erupting to cheers. I broke the kiss and looked around.

Holy Sh*t...

The entire school was here.

I didn't notice that before.

Along with the school, were the girls. When they caught me looking at them, they went deeper in the crowd, except for Pinkie, who was surprisingly cheering for us. Suddenly, she was pulled by Rainbow Dash deeper into the crowd as well.

The school bell rung and classes were done.

~;~

"Great singing, Sonata." a boy said.

"Sonata, you rock!" said another.

"We love you, Sonata!" a group of girls said as they passed by us.

Sonata was happy that, not only did the school heard her sing again, but they actually liked her for it. Me, on the other hand, was happy that she was also happy. Suddenly, I felt a strange presence behind us. I turned around and looked behind. there seemed to be no one following us.

"Hey, Cass. What's wrong?" She asked.

"Nothing. It must've been my imagination." I said.

And ooh, was I wrong...

School Fight!

View Online

After school, Sonata and I decided to stick around in school, trying to find the girls, who were supposed to hang around here somewhere. We roamed the school silently until we found Fluttershy. She was looking around, trying to see if someone's following her. When she thought the coast is clear, she started to walk quickly. I looked at Sonata, who puts up a mischievious smile and we followed her quietly. Oftentimes, she looked behind her, trying to see if she was being followed. Fortunately, Sonata and I were quick to hide. We were able to follow her to a music room. We got closer to the door, but it was sound-proofed for obvious reasons. By a streak of luck, we saw an open window, but we can only go there by getting out of the school.

"Hey, Sonata. Let's go outside." I whispered and went to the window. As we went there, we heard the conversation.

"-that confirms it. She has her powers back!" Exclaimed Rainbow Dash.

"How?" Asked Sunset Shimmer as she scratched her head. "She doesn't have her gem back, does she?"

"Who cares if she has her gem back or not. She's evil and we need to put here down before she does." Argued Rainbow.

I clenched my hands, but I knew why they wanted to do that. They still see her as a siren, not as a scared and confused girl finding her way home.

"But the question remains," said Rarity. "Where were the other two sirens?"

"What are you doing here, Sonata?" Asked a voice behind us.

Question answered.

We turned around and saw two girls standing above us. Wait... Those hoodies. They were the ones who ditched Sonata that night!

The girl with the huge amount of hair pointed a finger to Sonata.

"I thought we made it clear never to follow us here." She said.

Sonata glanced at me then to the ground.

"I-I wasn't f-following you, I swear." She said.

The other girl with the violet pigtails scoffed and raised an eyebrow.

"Don't lie to us." She said. "We both know you couldn't just ran into us by accident." She then glanced at me and gave me a creepy grin.

"And who's your friend? He's kinda cute." She said.

I stood up, almost towering her by a few inches and spoke.

"I'm the one who took her in when you abandoned her. And I'm the one who brought her here." I said, with a small hint of anger in my voice. "Why did you have to do that? She's nothing but a sweetheart. How can you be so heartless?" I asked.

The girl with the orange hair chuckled as she walked up to me seductively. Shivers were sent up and down my spine as she held my chin, and it was not of pleasure.

"Is that what you believe?" She asked as she looked at me eye to eye. "You probably don't even know what she really is."

I swatted away her hand and sternly looked at her. "Actually, I do. And I'm helping her regain her powers back so she could use it for good, unlike you two blokes."

The girl paused, then she smiled.

"How could you say that she'll use it for good. We're monsters, and it's in our nature to use our powers for evil. You think you could change our way of life? Well, you're wrong." She said.

Sonata stood up behind me, hands clasped over her chest.

"Adagio, Cass, please." She begged. "I don't want anyone to fight. I just want to go home."

"And what would you do, if you went to Equestria, huh? Live amongst the ponies as one of them?" Adagio asked as she turned her attention to Sonata.

Sonata puts her hands over here ears, eyes tightly shut.

"N-no! S-stop!" She said.

Adagio bent down just above her. "And what about when you sing? Will you watch on while the ponies begin to fight for your adoration?"

Sonata dropped to her knees as tears begin to flow down her cheeks.

I tried to push Adagio away when the other girl stepped in front of me. She then threw a sucker punch to my face. I fell to the floor as I held my nose. Blood started to flow down my face as I saw Sonata crying

"Just accept it, Sonata, you don't belong here, just as much as you don't belong here." Adagio said as she looked at the girl towering me.

"Get rid of him, Aria."

"With pleasure" she said as she placed her boot above my head. I breathe heavily and spun on the ground, knocking her down. I rolled to my feet and threw a punch, which she caught. She reeled her head back for a headbutt, which I did the same. When our heads collided, Aria stumbled back as I stood my ground. Seeing my chance, I lowered myself to the ground and delivered an uppercut to her face. Just as she was on air, I grabbed her collar and threw her to the ground. I then pulled her up and delivered a force palm on her gut, sending her flying. I turned my attention to Adagio, who was looking at me with fear. Suddenly she smirked and I felt a boot to my groin. Normally, I would immediately fall to the ground, but this time, I didn't. I turned around and Aria looked at me in surprise.

"Really?" Was all I said before I grabbed here neck and threw her to Adagio. The two fell like rag dolls and Aria was out cold. Adagio pushed off Aria's body and crawled backwards as I walked towards her. I took here by the collar and placed her face mere inches in front of her as I glared holes into her face.

"Save whatever dignity you have left. Return and pay the consequences." I said. She nodded quickly and ran away. I stood up and carried Aria behind my back.

"Come on, Sonata. Let's get her to the nurse's office." I said. Suddenly, I saw the girls at the entrance with wide eyes and fearful expressions.

"Good." Was all I said as a giant wave of pain covered my body and I fell to the ground unconscious.

A Conversation with Aria...

View Online

I woke up on a bed beside a window. I looked outside and saw that the sun was setting. I then looked around and there were white curtains surrounding me. I realized that I was in the Nurse's Office. Suddenly, the curtain just below the bed, opened and there stood Nurse Redheart and Sonata. When Sonata saw me, she immediately tackled-hug me.

"Cass!" She exclaimed as she continues to crush my ribs.

"Ah! So-Sonata! Can't..." I said as my face began to purple.

"Oh! Sorry." Sonata said, releasing me from her iron hugs.

"How did... *gasp*... I get here?" I asked.

"You were brought here by the girls along with Ms. Blaze." Nurse Redheart said as the girls came into view.

"Wait... Where is she?" I said as I tried sitting down.

"She's over here." She said as she moved the curtains.

"How is she?" I asked.

"Besides a concussion and a bruised rib, she's fine." Nurse Redheart says.

(A/N: If anyone reading this is a doctor or a medical student, please tell me what the real condition of Aria is in this scene. Thank you.)

I sighed contentedly. "That's good." I said.

"So, did you know what happened to her?" Asked the nurse.

"She got into a fight." I said honestly.

"Who did it?" She asked.

"I don't know." I lied.

"Well, if you find out who did it, please report him or her to Principal Celestia." She said as she stood up and looked at Aria, who was now waking up with a groan.

I slowly moved my legs to the side of the bed closer to Aria and sat up facing her.

"What happened?" She asked.

"Don't move around too much. Your wounds are already healing." said Nurse Redheart. Aria nodded and look in my direction. Her eyes widened as I gave her a two-finger salute.

"Hey." I said as she gave me a glare and a frown as Nurse Redheart left her and started to pack up.

"Can you take care of her?" She asked me.

"Hopefully." I said as I stood up slowly. The nurse nodded and left Aria to me. As soon as the nurse left, Sonata quickly walked to Aria.

"Aria!" Exclaimed Sonata as she hugged her. Aria squirmed and pushed away Sonata.

"Get away from me!" She said.

"Wh-what are you talking about?" Asked Sonata.

"B"Really? I know that you're stupid, but you can't really remember what happened back then?" She asked. "You're the one who ruined our plan!"

"But... I didn't ruined our plan." Said Sonata timidly. Aria scoffed.

"You never see the results to anything you do! It's because that head of yours is so far up a cloud's a**, you can't even see everything properly!"

"But you and Adagio always make fun of me." Sonata yelled back.

"Because your stupidity causes us pain and misery all the time." Aria shot back.

"OK, that's enough." I said, cutting in between the two arguing Sirens. "There's no point in arguing." I said.

"And why would you care, human?" Asked Aria. "You and your kind never did anything but argue and fight. Your kind never cared for peace. No, all you wanted was power, money and sex." This got Aria an idea. "That's what you want, isn't it? To make us your own sex slaves and throw us to the street when you're done with us?"

I was disgusted by the idea. "Hell NO! Never. Never, in the seven circles of hell, did I wanted Sonata in that manner." I declared as I glared at girls suddenly entered the room.

"What's goin on here?" Asked Sunset Shimmer.

"Nothing." I said as I took a deep, cleansing breathe. "I just cleared a misunderstanding."

"Are you sure Casper? That didn't sound like a misunderstanding to me." Said Sunset.

"Don't worry." I said as I slowly, and carefully, helped Aria stand up.

"Now." I said as I placed Aria's left arm, across my shoulders. "Who wants to eat in my house?" I said. Everyone was silent until...

"OKAY, SLEEPOVER AT CASPER'S YAY! I GOTTA GET HOME AND GET MY CLOTHES AND SLEEPING BAG READY, SEE YA GUYS!" A pink blur then wooshed outside and out of sight, going who knows where. We all just sighed and ignored her as I walked home' with Aria and Sonata.

Truth or Dare?

As soon as we got home, I placed Aria on the couch and quickly cleaned the house for our future guests. It was about 6:20 P.M. when I finished.

"Wow." said Sonata. "You cleaned this place really well, Casper." She then approached the wall. "You even made the walls shine. I could see my own reflection."

"Thanks." I said as I wiped the sweat off my forehead. Suddenly, there was a knock on the door.

"Just in time." I said. "Sonata, please let them in while I clean myself up."

"Sure thing." She said as I quickly took a sleeveless shirt and a pair of trousers from my room and quickly hid in the bathroom.

As I took a shower, I suddenly realized something. I am participating in a slumber party... With all girls and one guy. Normally, guys would immediately be excited of all the "babes" that they would pork, but I was only excited that I would at least join a slumber party. Cross that off my bucket list.

After I took a shower, I quickly put on my clean clothes and I went out. I then saw the girls chatting and doing what girls normally do, except for Rainbow, Applejack, and Aria, who was watching something on TV.

"How about we play "Truth or Dare?" Asked Pinkie. Everyone else agreed, except for me, Aria and Sonata.

"What's 'Truth or Dare'?" Asked Sonata.

"'Truth or Dare' is a game where players are given the choice between answering a question truthfully, or performing a "dare", both of which are set by the other players." I said.

"What does that mean?" Asked Sonata, earning Aria a facepalm.

"It means that you either tell the truth or do what they want you to do." Said Aria.

"Oh. Ok, I'm in." Said Sonata.

"And I'll be in the kitchen. Call me if there's anything you need." I said as I went to make Dinner.

I then took a look at the refrigerator for something. All there was were a few eggplants, some bread crumbs, and tomato sauce. That gave me an idea for dinner.

3rd Person POV

While the the other girls played "Truth or Dare" with one another, Aria got immensely bored, and since there was nothing good on TV, She decided to go to the kitchen.

"Hey, uh.." Said Aria as she didn't know Casper's name.

"Casper." He said.

"Yeah. So what'cha cooking?" She asked.

"Something my mom used to cook when we have guests." Casper replied as he chopped up some skinned eggplants.

"Which is..." she inquired.

"A secret." He said as he took a ladle and dipped it in the sauce. "Here, try this." he said.

Aria looked at the sauce and looked warily at Casper, who was blankly staring.

"I don't serve poison to guests, Aria." Said Casper.

Aria still didn't believe him. Casper rolled his eyes, and tasted the sauce. "Hmm... Still could use a bit of salt. what do you think?" He said as he looked at the pot, which was now boiling over and turned the fire a bit lower than before. Once again, he dipped the ladle a little and presented it to Aria. Still wary, Aria blew on the sauce and took a sip, to which she widened her eyes.

"Wow, this is really good. You're right though. Still could use a bit of salt." Said Aria.

"Well, then. Since I could tell you're still bored, how about you help me make this food." He said.

"Sure, whatever." She said in a bored tone but hid a small smile on her face

Meanwhile...

"Applejack, Truth or Dare?" Pinkie said as she started the game.

"Well, Ah always tell tah truth, so, Ah thank Ah'll go with dare." She replied.

"Ok, I dare you to..." Pinkie said as she thought of something. "...dance to the Hokey Pokey."

Applejack's mouth was hanging while Rainbow Dash stifled a laugh. Applejack sighed and pulled down her hat, covering her eyes.

"Alright. Let's just finish this." Applejack said as she danced the hokey pokey. When she was done, Rainbow was on the floor, laughing.

"Rainbow, Truth or Dare?"

Rainbow instantly screamed out. "DARE!"

Aj smirked. "I dare ya ta sing one of Pinkie's songs."

Rainbow looked down and muttered something. "Alright, what song?" She said. Aj thought of it for a while until she sang.

"Sing the one she sang in Appleloosa."

"That's it? Fine." Rainbow then breathes deeply and starts to sing.

Meanwhile, Somewhere in another universe...

"Hmm." A general suddenly became alarmed

"What is it, General Armstrong?" Asked a soldier who walked by.

"I just had the strangest feeling to declare war on Germany." He said.

Back to this story's universe...

After Rainbow was done singing, Pinkie suddenly shuddered.

"What is it, Pinkie." Applejack Asked.

"I think the author made someone declare war on Germany." She said.

"What?" asked Aj.

"Oh, nothing. Don't mind it." Pinkie said with a slightly forced smile.

"If ya say so." said Applejack.

"OK, so who should be my next victim?" Asked Rainbow as she looks at the girls. She smirked. "Sunset."

"Yeah?" She replied.

"Truth or Dare?"

"Truth." Rainbow groaned.

"Fine. Do you sleep with a stuff toy?" Sunset became flustered. and looked away.

"No." She said, blushing in embarrassment. Sunset looked at rainbow and saw her smirk. She knew she had to come clean.

"Yes. Yes, I do." Rainbow Dash laughs.

"What next, don't tell me you sleep with a nightlight, too?" Sunseet looked down in embarrassment and stayed quiet.

"You're serious? You sleep with a nightlight?" Rainbow laughed harder until Aj glared at her.

"Don't mind her, sugarcube. Ah don't think of ya any different." said Aj.

"Me too." Said Rarity.

"Me three!" Pinkie piped up.

"Thanks, guys." Said Sunset. "Now, Rarity. Truth or Dare?"

"Truth, Darling."

"Do you have a crush on someone?"

"Of course, darling. Everyone has a crush on someone." Rarity said.

"I don't!" Said someone outside the house. everyone seemed surprised while Pinkie was smiling, knowing who said that.

"Anyway..." Continued Rarity. "He's just not from around here." Sunset nodded.

"Ok, Sonata."

"Yeah."

"Truth or Dare?"

"Truth... no, Dare! No, truth!"

"Which one is it, Darling?"

"Fine, I'll go with truth?" Sonata said with uncertainty.

"Do you like Casper?" Asked Rarity with a sly look.

Sonata was about to answer until...

"Girls." Casper's voice came from the kitchen. "Dinner's ready!"

"Oh, boy!" Sonata said, running quickly to the kitchen before the girls could even stand up.

Once the girls were in the kitchen, everyone was surprised. In front of them were two trays of Eggplant Parmesian, both trays with two layers of the dish.

"Wow." They all said, Pinkie and Sonata drooling at the food.

"Well, what are you waiting for?" Casper asked. "Dig in!"

As soon as he said that, the girls, including Aria and Casper, grabbed a seat and began to eat.

"Wow. This is good." Said Sunset Shimmer.

"Are you kidding? This is Awesome!" Rainbow said with her mouth full.

"Rainbow, Mind your manners!" Scolded Rarity and Casper simultaneously. The two looked at each other and back to their food.

"Where did you get this recipe?" Asked Rarity.

"I watched Mom do it when she cooks." Casper said.

The rest of the meal was spent in silence, except for Pinkie and Rainbow chomping on their food.

Songs of Nightmares

View Online

It was midnight. The night was peaceful as always, every once in a while, a car would pass there. Everyone was sleeping, happy, and comfortable in their warm beds.

All except for Aria.

Aria was drowzy on the couch. Everytime she would close her eyes, flashes of her memories, particularly, her childhood, would appear. When she would sleep, the sun was already up.

Aria groaned. "Why do these have to show up now?" She thought as she got up. Thankfully, Casper had a coffee machine for her to drink a cup of bitter energy. She pressed a few buttons and let the machine did its work. While she waited, she noticed Casper walking out of the bedroom, stretching and yawning.

"Morning, Aria. You're up early." Said Casper. Aria decided to ignore her as she stared at the coffee maker. Casper walked to her and placed a hand on her shoulder.

"Hey, you alright?" He asked. She made an affirmative grunt.

"Are you sure? You look tired." He said.

"Nothing coffee couldn't fix." She said as she took the pitcher from the coffee maker and poured it on a cup. Casper looked at her for a few seconds before minding his own business.

At school, Casper would notice Aria being less energetic than usual; she would walk more slowly, more irritable, and would often sleep at random times of the day. When they both got home, Casper decided to confront Aria.

"Aria, can I talk to you for a second?" He asked.

"You are talking to me." Aria snarked.

"I'm not playing around, Aria. What's wrong with you? You're sleeping more so than usual." He said.

"And the point is?"

"The point is, why are you sleeping more?" Aria widened her eyes in alarm.

"Why do you care?" Aria asked.

"I care because you're my friend, Aria. And I don't like my friends troubled." He said.

"Whatever." Aria said as she Walked passed Casper.

"Just... Take care of yourself, alright?" He said as he went to his room.

"Casper?" Said Sonata.

"What is it, Sonata?" He asked.

"Can you please stop asking Aria what her problem is?" She asked.

"Why?"

"Because, as Aria's friend, she doesn't want anyone to know about her. She would only trust me and Adagio."

Casper looked at her with hesitation. "Fine, I'll drop it for you." He said.

"Thanks." She said as she opened her book.

"Now, can you help me with this question?"

A few days went by, Aria became increasingly more agitated, worrying both Sonata and Casper. Aria became more and more prone to fights and arguements with her and Casper rose.

One day, Casper had enough.

"Aria, I've just about enough of you." He said as he threw his bag to the couch. "You're irritable, you barely get any sleep, you caused fights, you get pissed at simple things. What's wrong with you?!" He asked.

"Hey, those guys asked for it! And I was handling it, kid. I didn't need your help. I was about to put them in their place and you ruined it."

"I was just doing what I thought was right, they shouldn't have been such asses."

Aria turned to Sonata, who remained silent. Then returned her gaze to Casper. "You don't understand, I was just about to have them wrapped around my finger" she said while caressing her black choker.

"I was just sticking up for you. It's what friends do-"

"Oh no," Aria said. "No no no, we're not friends. And you had no right to interfere. I want you to apologize."

"Pff" Casper huffed, "For what? All I did was try to help!"

"I didn't need your help!" Aria said, raising her voice. "I don't need anyone!"

"What about her?" Casper shouted, pointing at Sonata. "Would you be having this conversation with her?!"

"Don't bring her into this!" Aria snapped, "You have no idea who we are!"

"I perfectly know what Sonata is, and I have a pretty good idea of what you are!" Casper yelled

"Guys, let's not fight. I think-"

"Shut up, Sonata!" Aria said while shooting her a venomous glare. "What am I then, Casper?"

"Don't talk to her like that! She deserves better than that, you ungrateful bitch!"

Casper's face stung as he caught a slap across the cheek. It spun his head around and almost knocked him down. The pain made his anger swell to enormous levels, but his face became eerily calm.

"I'm going to take a shower. Please clean up your messes while I'm gone." He said monotonously as he went to his room.

Sonata turned around and glared at Aria. "Blaze... you didn't need to do that. I can't believe you."

Aria fumed, "He tried to defend me from those stupid kids, Sonata. He thinks I'm weak! I'm not weak!"

Sonata shook her head, "With the front you put up all the time? How could a boy like that think you weak? All he knows is the tough girl who doesn't take crap from anyone. Adagio and I are the only ones here who know you, Aria."

"And he wants to get to know me," Aria said. "That's part of what that was back there. He can't find out."

"Find out what?" Sonata asked, exasperated. "That you were once a tiny fish in a big pond so long ago? That you were picked on and bullied by so many others? That those experiences changed you?"

"Sonata, I-" Aria began, but was cut off.

"No, listen.." Sonata said while walking over to her. "I love you, Aria. You're my best friend. We've known each other for how long? I know why you act this way sometimes, and I don't blame 's helped you, and it's helped us survive in this strange world. I don't mind it because you're my friend. But you know what? We could use some new friends in this world. Casper is a great guy. I consider him a friend, and I think you should, too. In fact, you especially. Do you know why? Maybe think what he might know about your experiences. Look at him. He might be too big for a guy his age, but I know he has a huge heart to go along with it."

Aria took a deep breath and looked at Sonata, "I'm sorry I shouted at you."

Sonata rolled her eyes and put a hand on Aria's shoulder, "It's alright, Aria. But I'm not the one who needs to hear that."

"You're right... "Aria said with a defeated sigh.

"I'll be in his room for a while."

That night, Casper was silent. He never spoke a word to Aria nor Sonata. He would ignore them if anything was said. All of them went to bed early, and everything was peaceful again...

... Until Casper heard Aria shout in the middle of the night.

"Aaaahhhhh!" Shouted Aria. Casper quickly jumped off his bed and ran to where Aria is. He found her tossing and turning. Casper approached her and saw that she was having a nightmare. He held her shoulder and shook her awake.

"Wake up Aria, Wake up!" He shouted, shaking her. She opened her eyes, but continued panicking.

"No, stay away from me!" She screamed out as she waved her arms around, eventually scratching Casper's cheek, and drawing some blood from it. It was then when Aria quickly calmed down and saw Casper.

"Casper." She breathed out as she noticed his cheek. "You're bleeding." She exclaimed.

"It's alright. It's just a scratch." He said. The two sere silent for a while until Aria spoke up.

"Listen, Cass... I'm sorry. I- shouldn't have snapped at you, and I never should have hit you. I lost my temper."

Casper turned to face her and shook his head, "But why? What did I do to make you so mad?"

"I just- I need to look out for myself. I know that Adagio and Sonata are there for me, but they weren't always. In many ways I was just like you when I grew up. Small, an easy target. I was alone.I didn't need you to stick up for me. I can handle myself."

Casper leaned back on the couch, "Sucks doesn't it? Until I made friends I didn't have anyone to look out for me. No brothers or sisters. It was just me."

"Yeah, it does suck..." Aria said. "But you know, I'm glad you stuck up for me back there. Even after all the crap I've been giving you."

Casper grinned, "I get the same crud from bullies back then. It's no big deal, and besides, Sonata told me you weren't too bad. I just believed her, and you know what? She was right."

Aria blushed a little and chuckled, "Still, I shouldn't have hit you. What can I do to make it up to you?"

Casper laughed, "You don't have to do anything. But just know that you don't always have to go it alone. Sure you might not need any help, but it doesn't hurt to accept some now and again, does it?" He stood up and went to his bedroom.

"Get some sleep. We'll need a lot of it tomorrow." He said as he went back to bed.

Aria gave a smile before sleeping on the couch. And there was no nightmare that entered her dreams back then.

"Come on, Ladies" Shouted Coach William "Iron" Armstrong as we ran down the tracks. "One more lap."

"This is inhumane." Sonata complained as she ran with me. I looked ahead to see Aria and Sunset Shimmer running as they were beginning to sweat. Looking ahead of them, Rainbow and Applejack were at top speed as it seemed like they were racing each other. Right behind them was Pinkie, who was bouncing around the track since the beginning of the period. Rarity and Fluttershy were behind us, as they seem to prefer jogging than running.

I looked back in front of me and saw that the finish line was up ahead. Most of the other students had already past it and were now resting while they waited for the others. We finally crossed the line and I stopped running to take my breath. I then heard a thud beside me and saw Sonata face down on the ground with her arms above her head in a victorious pose.

"You OK, Sonata?" I asked as I picked her up.

"No." She said. "I think my everything hurts. I can't believe someone would make us do fifty push-ups, forty jumping jacks, fifty sit-ups and made us run around."

I was about to say something when Coach Will spoke up.

"Alright everyone! Now that we got the exercises out of the way, it's time to end the period by doing a good, old, fashioned fun. Dodgeball."

Everyone was letting out cheers of excitement.

"Alright, the team captains are Rainbow Dash-"

"Aw, yeah!" Rainbow said as she went to the coach's left."

"-And Applejack." Applejack only nodded and went to his right.

"Each of you, pick one team member at a time." Said Coach Will. "Applejack, you go first."

After a while, Rainbow Dash and Applejack had made up of teams. I was at Applejack's team while Sonata was in Rainbow's.

"Alright the rules are simple."Said Coach Will when suddenly, someone came inside the gym.

"I'm sorry I'm late. Mr. Armstrong. I just got lost." A boy said. He was about 5'7" tall and had a messy, curly hair that looked like he didn't even had time to comb it. He wore a white shirt with black sleeves and a pair of trousers.

"And who are you?" Asked Coach Will.

The teen suddenly appeared in front of the coach and gave him his schedule. "Mallory, sir. Mallory Shadowielder."

"Very well. You will be on Applejack's team. Go to the shower room and suit up." Said Coach Will.

"Yes sir." He said and ran outside. Suddenly he poked his head inside the room. "Where's the shower room?" He asked with a sheepish smile.

"Mr. Nocturne, show Mr. Shadowielder the boy's shower room." Said Coach Will.

"Yes, sir." I said and went outside. We walked in silence until I spoke up.

"So, where do you live?" I said. Mallory's smile immediately disappeared and replaced by a neutral expression.

"Why do you care?" He said.

"Cause I want to get to know you. Obviously, you're new here and I would like to be friends with you." I said.

"Well, don't. School is for learning, not for socializing." He said with his face turning into anger.

"Fine, be that way. I only wanted to be friends with you." I said.

"I know." He said with a neutral expression.

"Wait, why the sudden change of attitude?" I asked. He smirked.

"Why, where's the fun of being sane? " He said. We were now at the locker rooms and Mallory quickly changed his clothes. When he was done, he neatly folded his clothes and brisked walk the entire way back. Dang, was he fast. It was a good thing I do this too, or else, I would've been left behind.

"Alright. As I've said earlier, the rules of this game is simple. you grab a ball and throw it at the opposite team. If you have a ball, you can use it to block. If you grab a ball from the opposite team and have a teammate down, you can bring them back into the game. DO not cross the central line until I say so. When I blow the whistle, you can begin." Said Coach Will.

We all got into ready, except Mallory, who was simply crossing his arms and wearing once more a neutral face. the whistle blew and we all started. I quickly grabbed a ball and threw it, hitting one of Rainbow's teammates. Because of Rainbow's speed, our teammates got shot down one by one. the only one left were me, Applejack, and Mallory. Mallory started throwing balls to the other team, leaving them at only four, Namely: Rainbow, Pinkie, Fluttershy, and Sunset Shimmer.

"We're getting pummeled here. Pinkie, it's time for our ultimate weapon." Said Rainbow Dash. Great.

"Aj, Mallory. HIT THE DECK!" I shouted at I dropped to the floor. Aj did what I said, but Mallory slouched down and placed his hands on front of him. Soon, Pinkie started spinning around like the Tazmanian Devil and unleashed a barrage of balls, supplied by Rainbow Dash and the others. I looked at Mallory, who ducked and head-spun. Ok, I'm gonna be honest with this one:

WTF. He even starts to say "Hitmontop" for whatever reason.

The balls were everywhere. One even hit the coach in the head, almost knocking him out. Mallory suddenly stopped spinning and grabbed one of the balls near him and threw it to a wall, causing it to ricochet to Rainbow's head, then to the wall behind her, to Pinkie's back, and to Sunset's side, causing said girls to fall on the floor in pain. Mallory stopped spinning and took a deep breath. Suddenly, he started to sing.

"Everybody was Kung-Fu Fighting--" He stopped once he was hit by Fluttershy. He looked at the girl, then shrugged. "You guys are left." He said. Applejack and I looked at each other. None of us wanted to hit Fluttershy, so we surrendered.

"Coach Will, the match's done." Mallory said as he held the collar of his shirt and started pulling it up and down to get cold air in.

"And the winner of this match is Rainbow Dash's team." Said Coach Will. Rainbow and her team cheered, or rather, groaned in victory and held Fluttershy up in the air. Mallory walked by me and said something.

"Be wary, my friend." He then started to head to the shower room, along with the rest of the class.

3rd Person POV

"Alright, Casper. You can do this." He said to himself. He wanted to ask something to Sonata and he hopes that she would say "yes". It was after school and everyone was already leaving.

"Hey, Cass!" Said Sonata as she and Aria waved their hands at him. Casper waved back. Sonata and Aria approached him.

"OK, this is it." Casper thought. "Sonata?"

"Yeah?" She asked.

"I was wondering..."

"Yes?"

"... if you could go on a date with me?" Casper winced, preparing for the possible rejection.

"Sure. When?"

"Oh, OK. I understa- wait, what?" He did a double-take.

"Yes.I'd like to go on a date with you." Sonata said. "I was actually waiting for that ever since the auditorium."

"That's great. So, Saturday?" He asked.

"Sure."

"Oh, thank you." He said, holding Sonata's hands with his. "I promise, it will be the best one you'll ever have."

"Ok, I'll be expecting that." She said. The three started their way home, unknown to them that someone hiding in the shadows was listening in their conversation.

"Perfect." He said as he quickly got out of the school.

That night, Adagio was searching in a trash can in an alley for food. Even though she considered herself beneath this, there was no other way to get any form of sustenance. Suddenly, a large shadow covered her.

"Hello, dearie." Said someone.

"If you want to do me a favor, kill me." Adavio said, her voice devoid of all hope.

"No, I won't be doing that. That would be a waste of such beauty." That got Adagio's attention.

"I mean, it isn't fair that the great leader of the Dazzlings got the dumps while your sisters get all the adoration and leisure." The shadow continued.

"You're right." Said Adagio as she tried to stand up, but due to her lack of nutrition for the past few days, she stumbled. Luckily, the boy owning the shadow caught her before she fell down.

"I gotcha, dearie. Hold on." He lifted her up and look at her right in the eyes. Adagio was instantly mesmerized at his brown eyes.

"How about this, darling" He said, placing his thumb and Index finger below her chin. "I will give you a home, and in return, you'll help me conquer at what you failed to." He said.

"And if I don't?" Adagio asked.

"Well, I'll leave you alone. Until then, catch." He threw something at Adagio, which she caught. When she looked at it...

"My gem!" She exclaimed. "How?-"

"Secrets, darling. Now, the only way to activate this gem is by an act of love. Until then, it's just a regular ruby. But hey, at least you still have money for a house. Maybe even food."

Adagio thinked for a second. On one end, she could end up rich and she would no longer live in the streets. On the other, she could help him and gain power. She immediately knew which one to pick.

"I'm in." She said.

"Splendid. Now, hold that pendant to your neck, and I'll do the rest." He said. Adagio did what she was told and The boy gave her a kiss on the lips. It wasn't anything Adagio felt for thousands of years she had seducing men. This one felt like fireworks and the boy's lips tasted like strawberries, her favorite fruit. That, combined with the warmth sensation from the pendant was enough for her to almost faint from the pleasure. Finally, the boy's kiss ended and the pendant was once again on her neck.

"Excellent." Said the boy. "Now come along. We have some business to do."

"Wait." Said Adagio, causing the boy to turn around."I haven't got your name."

"Oh, dear. It seems so. Ako ang tagapag-bantay ng Kaguluhan. I am Chaos Watcher."

I was more than nervous, I was crying internally. What if she didn't want me to stay with me? What if I don't look good enough? So many questions ran inside my mind, and none of them were cheering me up.

I want- no. I Need to impress her. I need to impress Sonata Dusk.

Of course, I'm not the most romantic person in the world, and that's why I had Rarity help me. She had dated several times, at least, that's what she said. She knew what and what not to do and how to be really romantic. She even helped me find a five star place in the city and a great suit, even when I tried to decline the offer.

I just wanted this to be perfect and special for us. And nothing would stop me. And in such occasions, I do what I do best. Check, re-check and plan.

This night will be perfect, even if I-

"What about this one, Darling?" Rarity napped me out of my thoughts as she showed me a second suit, this one a sparkling persian blue with dark-blue sleeves.

"Rarity, I know you're trying to help, but I look like a blue disco ball in that one. Do you have anything simpler?"

"I think I have something in here." Rarity said as she walked to the closet. "Here we go." Sh said, pulling out a white and grey-striped sweater shirt. "This should compliment your hair, no?" Rarity lets out a little smile while looking at me with approval.

I nodded and went to the dressing room. I looked at the mirror. Rarity was right thought, the sweater compliments my silver hair and my pale-white skin.

I then left the dressing room to find that the girls were in front of me.

"Nice shirt." Said Rainbow Dash.

"Thanks." I said.

"So, ya ready for yer date?" Asked Aj.

"Well, yes and no." I was suddenly shook by Pinkie.

"C'mon. Shake off that first-date jitters!" she exclaimed at I felt dizzy and the need to release the contents of my stomach were starting to rise up to my mouth. Thankfully, Sunset pulled Pinkie before I could do that.

"Thanks." I said, disoriented.

"You're welcome." She said.

"So, onwards to Casper's house!" said Pinkie.

The rumbling noise of Thunder echoed in the sky as Rarity kept fussing on my clothes. The rain then poured down. I sighed heavily, there goes plan B.

"Cheer up Darling. It's just rain. The world isn't going to end. You can borrow Applejack's truck." Rarity said.

"Aj owns a truck?" I asked.

"Yep. Use them fer deliveries." Said Aj as she puts a hand on her pocket. She pulls it out and threw me the keys. "Here."

Thanks. It's Eight o' clock now, so I gotta go. See ya later." I said, going outside.

"Go get them, Tiger." Rarity said as I entered the truck. I put the keys and turned it, resulting a sputter from the engine and then nothing. I tried it again, and the same happened. I did it a few more times. and the truck still didn't start. I sighed.

"Guess I'm walking." I muttered.

I knocked three times on my door. Still, it's kinda weird why I knock on my house. Anyway, The door opened and it revealed Aria.

"Nice shirt." She said as she let me in. "So, where've you been?"

"Rarity's boutique." I said. "Where's Sonata?"

"Right here." I heard her voice behind me. I turned around and saw her, wearing a light-blue dress that fell just below her knees, as a small, fluffy jacket to protect her from the cold. She still wore her sneakers, though.

"Wow..." I said, making her blush. She looked so cute when she blushes. She looks more shy than Fluttershy, and I thought it was impossible. "You look nice." Said Sonata.

"Thanks. You too." I said.

"So, where are we going?" She asked.

"To the best restaurant here in Canterlot. Then, I'm planning to go to the Gaia Gardens for stargazing, but since it's raining, we just have to cancel it." I said.

"It's alright. So, shall we?" Sonata asked.

"We shall." I said, giving her a small kiss on the cheek, when Aria decided to groan.

"If you're going to do that here, then just kill me already. I have enough sappiness to get by each day." Moaned Aria.

"Fine, let's get going." I said as I opened the door.

"Bring me back something." Said Aria just before I closed the door.

We took a cab to the restaurant, and I saw Sonata's eyes shine. The front of the restaurant was extremely fancy. and its name, "Le Grand" was shining.

"Have you ever been in this place before?" I asked.

"Once. When we still had our powers." Sonata said. "We sung our way here."

"Ah, I see." I said as I approached the counter where a man with a handle moustache was doing his job. He wore a tux and a monocle.

"We have a reserved table here." I said.

"By the name of sir..." He started looking on his list.

"Casper. Casper Nocturne."

"Excuse me for a moment." He said as he read the reservations. "I'm sorry, Mr. Nocturne, but I fear that no reservations have been made for you or your lady friend." He said.

"Wait.. But... I- Rainbow Dash and Rarity Belle made it for us." I said. "Isn't it on their names or something like that?" I asked desperately. Sonata looked at me with a neutral expression. Was she not worried? The whole evening could be ruined by this!

"NO rainbow Dash or Rarity Belle here, kind sir. Again, I'm sorry." He said.

"Rainbow Elizabeth Dash And Rarity Victoria Belle... I'm going to f***ing kill you!"

"Casper? We can just go to the Gaia Garden; the rain has stopped. Looks like your plans aren't ruined after all." Sonata gave me a little hopeful smile, one that slightly calmed my nerves.

"You're right, let's go." I said and turned to the man. "Thank you for your service, sir." I said as we went out of the restaurant.

"Besides," she whispered. "The food there's disgusting. I mean, who would want to eat snails?" She said. we both chuckled at that.

"Still, Rarity and Rainbow are going to get it." I said as I felt a tuft of my hair stand up.

Gaia's Garden was completely silent, not even the animals were making a sound. People usually didn't go there at this day of the week. The only light came from the moon and the occasional fireflies. It was absolutely perfect for...

"Closed for Works"

"What the? Oh, come on!" I looked up to the sky. "Why do you want to mess with me this day, of all days?!" I shouted. Suddenly, A stray lightning bolt hit the ground a few feet away from us.

Sonata laughed at my actions, and the unexpected answer. "it's okay, we can just go watch a movie. Cass, it's no problem." I felt another tuft of hair standing up on my head.

"But, Sonata.."

"Casper, I said it's fine. Let's go. I heard they're playing 'My Little Puppy: Canis Girls' there." She said.

Okay. Let's go... Again."

At the theater...

We were trying to watch the movie, but I can't focus due to two idiots laughing and making unnecessary comments about the movie.

"Hey, what about some licking? They're dogs, right?" Said one of them.

"Yeah, especially right there." The two of them laughed hysterically as they kicked mine and Sonata's seats. I sighed and I felt all of my hair stand up in rage. I looked at them and shouted.

"Shut your trumpets and stop kicking the seats!" I said. Dang, it feels good to get mad again. Haven't had this one in about... three years or so? Anyway...

"We're trying to watch the movie! And if you make any noise again, I'm gonna drag you outside, knock you out, spray bleach on your faces and carve a great, big smile on your faces, you understand me? Now shut your mouths or I'll shut them for you. Permanently." I lowered my voice for a bit. "You think I won't do it? Just try me. Try me. 'Cause you'll never see tomorrow again!" I huffed and the entire room clapped at me as I slumped in my seat.

"This is the worst date ever!" I thought to myself as I placed my head on my palms for the rest of the movie.

After the movie, we started to walk back home. Sonata was smiling after seeing the movie, while I barrage myself with insults.

"Stupid, stupid, stupid." I said to myself. "Why did Sonata even like you? You're nothing but a immature, hot-tempered, son-of-a-b-"

"Cass? " Sonata snapped me out of my thought. "Yeah?" I responded. "Yeah, respond like a sheep. Way to go, Casper."

"Tonight was fun." She simply said.

"What? But Sonata, We didn't do anything. We couldn't even focus on the movie because of those goons." I said.

"True, but I enjoyed being with you, no matter what happens." She said as she kisses me briefly. "Besides, you're cute when you're angry." She giggled as I blushed in embarrassment. She giggled louder when she saw me, turning me a bit more redder. Suddenly, the door opened and it revealed Aria on her PJs and her hair no longer tied on their usual pigtails.

"Ugh, would you get in already?" She complained. "If you two haven't notice yet, it's 11:16 PM and the whole neighborhood is fast asleep. So shut up, get in, and go to sleep." She said. We looked at each other for a minute, and laughed, causing Aria to face-palm.

"You two are the worst." She said, with a small sad look at me. We then entered my house, got dressed, and went to sleep.

Tonight was... Ugh, I can't even tell. I was tired, yes. Disappointed? Definitely. But, as long as Sonata's happy, I would glady go through it again.

Aria's POV

It's been a few days since Casper and Toothpaste Hair had their date, and they were closer than ever. But, everytime I see them, or more particularly, Casper, I just... I don't know what I feel.

Ever since I saw him stood up to Adagio, he was so... Brave. I've never seen anyone stood up to her like that. Even when he knocked me out, he didn't just left me me on the school lawn to die. Instead, he carried me to the nurse's office and even watched me.

Ugh, I feel so sappy just thinking about this...

Now, everytime I think or look at him, my stomach does a flip and this damn heart of mine keeps beating faster. What is happening to me? I need to go somewhere to think.

"Hey, Cass! I'm going out for a bit." I said.

" 'Kay! But be back by six, alright?" I heard him say.

"Fine." I said as I stood up and left.

Walking around the city. This was my way of passing the time. Even though it made me feel like time was moving forward, I still hated doing the same thing, day by day.

My path was always the same place. Leave the city, pass Canterlot High School to bask in my defeat, loiter at the arcade, walk around the park twice, and sit at a coffee shop for a few hours.

And that is what I did after leaving to think. Doing all of those things, aside from sitting in the coffee shop, took about four hours. At this time, it was afternoon. I had just finished my final lap around the park and was now making my way toward the coffee shop.

What drew Aria to such a place was the picture of the store's mascot: a siren, or in this world, a mermaid.

Before entering the door, she always looked at the mascot and smiled at it, happy with its past mythology.

"How many men have you drowned today with your convincing prices," I said grimly as she entered the shop.

"Good afternoon." Said a light-blue haired girl as she waved at me. "Welcome to Hotshot's Coffee."

"Hey Coco. Hand me today's special." I said, smiling. Coco then gave me the special, which composed of a chocolate muffin and an expresso.

"That will be $9.15" She said. I gave me $10.

"Keep the change." I said as I went to my usual table. As I sat down, My mind started to wander again to Casper. What is it that makes me attracted to him? Is it because of how he treats me? Is that why I...

I shuddered at the thought. I can't really like him. I mean, he's just the guy who went out of his way to make sure I was fine. The guy who cooks for me so I won't get hungry. The guy who-

"Hey." Said someone, snapping me out of my thoughts. Annoyed, I look at him.

"What do you want?" I asked.

"Remember me, Aria?" He asked. Now that I think about it...

"You're the guy who keeps hanging out with that Pink Devil." I said. He laughed.

"You're right, But I believe you don't know my name. I'm Mallory. You look like you have a bit of a problem, no?" He said.

"No." I said, looking elsewhere. He chuckled.

"You're cute when you're lying." He said as he looked at the empty seat in front of me. "May I?"

"Sure." He sat down.

"So, care to tell me your problem?" He asked. "I promise I won't tell anyone."

"Why do you care?" I asked.

"I don't feel comfortable seeing someone in trouble." He said. I looked at him for a bit, not believing. He shrugged.

"Fine. I only wanted to help. Don't you wanna know what I have in store?" He asked.

"No. Nor do I care what it is." I said.

"Really now? Even when it involves bringing your little dream to life?" He asked. Both of us were silent for a moment

"What do you mean by 'little dream?" I finally asked.

"You know what I mean. Your little... Situation with Casper Nocturne." He said. My eyes widened.

"I... Don't know what you're talking about." I said as my eyes shifted.

He chuckled. "Oh Aria, you don't have to hide your feelings from me. I already know your feelings for my buddy Casper; I can sense it in your heart. You wonder what it would be like if he loved you, if he hugged you during a rain storm" he paused as he went closer to my ear "…if he kissed you." He whispered. I shivered slightly at the thought. As Mallory took his mouth away from my ear, I stared into thin air as I thought deeply about it. "I…have wondered those things." I admitted.

He then wrapped his arms around me. "Oh, Dearie. It's so upsetting, to love somebody who loves another."

I didn't know why, but I had the urge to rest my head on his shoulder; which I eventually did.

Mallory smiled before he released me from his hug. He then looked at me. "What if I told you I could make your dreams a reality?" He said before I looked at him; giving him my full attention.

Mallory grinned as he pocketed his hand. He then took it out and showed me a small vial. He gave it to me and I looked at it. "W-What is this?" I asked.

"A potion." He simply said.

"A potion? What kind of potion?" Aria asked.

"…A love potion, Dearie. All you have to do is make Casper drink it. Then, he'll instantly fall in love with the first girl he sees. you just have to make sure it's you."

I looked at it carefully, but I gave to back to him. "No. I want him to love me, but not like this." I said.

"Don't worry. the effects of this potion is temporary. they'll only last for an hour. And the best part is, Casper won't even remember it. Once it's effect wear off, he'll have no memory about what happened. It's a win-win, Aria. You get the chance to have him for an hour, and he won't even remember it. Just make sure anyone else won't find out about it." Mallory gave a generous smile.

I thought long and hard about it. In away, it would make sense. If I use it on Casper, he won't remember anything once the effects wear off. I can have some time with him. But on the otme, would I really do such thing to him? Would I really make him feel fake affection for me? All these thoughts are twisting my mind so much, I'm beginning to have a headache.

I looked at Mallory, who was looking at me stone-faced. It was certainly creepy. that one jolly boy could wear such a face.

"I'll let you think it over." He said, finally standing up and patted my shoulder, leaving me to my thoughts. I noticed he left three dollars and fifteen cents. What was that for?

I then picked up my chocolate muffin, only to find that it's gone missing.

"That sneaky, little thief." I muttered as I stood up, took the money he left for me and left.

3rd Person POV

Mallory walked on the sidewalk of an empty street. He stopped by something unusual; a stray cardboard ox in the middle of the sidewalk. Now, living i this kind of area, Mallory often see trash all the time. Boxes, McRonald cups, and plastic bags littered the streets, but rarely does he see a cardboard box that isn't crushed in one way or anotme. He noticed this particular box because it was in his way.

Curious, he approached the box and opened it. Inside it was a small, little pegasus with rainbow-colored mane, sound asleep. He looked at it for a few seconds, then he closed the box.

"Eh, I'm sure someone else will find it." He said and walked away.

Finally reaching home, he opened the door and looked around. It was a two-floored house, complete with a bathroom, a living room, a garage, and a basement.

"So, what news of Aria Blaze?" Mallory heard someone behind him. He turned around and saw Chaos Watcher.

"Aria took the potion." He said.

"Did she decide to use it?" asked Chaos Watcme.

"She's... thinking about it." Mallory said. Suddenly, Chaos Watcher placed a hand on Mallory's neck; Mallory unfazed by the sudden pressure on his neck.

"If she decides against it, Your life will be the price." Chaos Watcme said.

"As will yours." Mallory said, staring at him. Chaos Watcher growled and let Mallory go. Mallory chuckled as he held his neck.

"It seems that our grip getting a bit loose now, isn't it?" He asked as he went to the shelf

"This is no time for games!" Watcher said.

"I know. And with this." Mallory pulls out a red notebook from the shelf. "She will use it."

"There you are." The boys heard someone. They looked to their left and saw Adagio.

"I've been looking all over for you." She said as she approached Chaos Watcme and Kissed him. "Hey, Mallory." She said

"Ms. Dazzle." Mallory greeted. "Are the pendants done?" He asked.

"Sure." Adagio said.

"Thanks. Now, I will take my leave." He said, and at that instant, he was in the basement.

"So, what's the plan?"' Asked Adagio as Chaos picked up a knife.

"First, we must seperate Casper's friends from him." Chaos said, throwing the knife at a picture of Casper sticking to a dart board. "Once he's alone, we strike his heart. No one will even care once he's gone."

Summer Break; I've decided

View Online

It was the start of Spring break. Time for leisure, recreation, and taking it easy. Today was the day the HuMane 5 (Sunset Shimmer and the girls, except Fluttershy, who spends her spring break in a safari.), the two sirens and Casper agreed to go to the beach.

As of right now, Casper and the girls, except Pinkie stood outside the school gates with their luggage. They waited patiently for their ride, well, except for Rainbow Dash who was starting to get bored.

"How much longer?!" she groaned in boredom.

"Oh, will ya shut yer yap for a moment, Rainbow?" Applejack asked, getting annoyed by her whining.

"And you say I complain." Rarity retorted.

"Cool it, Rainbow, here she comes." Casper said, as they saw a mini-van drive up.

The window rolled down as a man with a Maud and Pinkie looked out the drivers window, "Hey, Guys!" Pinkie said as she frantically waved at them.

"Hey, Pinkie!" Sonata exclaimed.

"Are you and your friends all ready to go?" Maud asked monotonously.

"Ya bet we are." Applejack confirmed.

"Then hope aboard." Maud instructed, as they grabbed their luggage and got inside the mini-van.

In a few hours, they were all at the beach.

"WOOHOOO! WE'RE FINALLY HERE!" Pinkie shouted as she gets out of the mini-van that was still pulling into a parking lot, much to the chagrin of those sitting with her.

"Ugh, Pinkie darling, we can see that. No need to shout so loud that Twilight can hear you from Equestria," Rarity explained as she gingerly rubbed her ear.

"I'm just happy that we don't have to listen to 'Are we there yet!? Are we!? ARE WE!?' like we've been forced to since we left Canterlot." Rainbow stated with great emphasis, which caused the pink haired girl to smile sheepishly.

"Sorry girls" Casper cleared his throat. "And guy, I'm just super nervous-cited!" Pinkie jumped and remained a few feet off the ground for a few seconds before landing. "I haven't been to the beach in forever! The last time I went I think was when we took that freshmen trip to Seaside Beach!" Pinkie said as she put her hand in her hair, and after digging around for a few seconds pulling out a framed picture of her and four other girls arm in arm at a pier overlooking waterfront.

"Heh, well shucks, ah remember that." Applejack said as she took her bag from the trunk of the car. "That was taken right before the Freshmen Fair! Before when we were….umm….uhh…." the cowgirl continued as her gaze shifted to Sunset, who was just beside her. "Umm…..before...well...the rest."

Sunset sighed. "Yeah Applejack...we know."

"Sorry Sunset, ah didn't mean to bring up bad memories." Applejack started with a hint of regret in her voice. Just then, Pinkie moved forward and put her arms around the two girls sitting in front.

"Hey! No need to frown girls! We're finally at the beach again for Spring Break!" Pinkie said, appearing in between Sunset and Applejack and placing her arms on their necks.

"You're right, Pinkie." Said Casper as he swiftly took his stuff, along wih Aria and Sonata's bags.

"This is the first time in forever we've gone to the beach together, and the first time Sunny has come with us on a vacation. We need to make new, good memories! Not remember the yucky old bad ones." Pinkie stated matter-of-factly.

"So girls," Casper cleared his throat once more. "And Casper, shall we get going? We wouldn't want to keep the beach waiting." Rarity stated, to which her friends quickly agreed as they exited out of the parking lot and got a breath of that cool, spring air. The girls then proceeded to gather their bags and beach supplies before walking down a path to the beach. It was an extremely beautiful afternoon, the sky was a brilliant azure; complemented by the dots of snow white clouds above with the cries of seagulls being heard from a distance. They continued down a paved pathway between what appeared to be picnic sites, littered with trees, shelters, and picnic tables on both sides. After a few minutes of walking, the girls finally reached their planned destination of the beach.

"Woah….this is pretty awesome." Rainbow Dash thought out loud as she surveyed the beach. The water appeared to be a crystalline blue, the beach itself had nothing but silky smooth looking tan sand, save for the occasional large rock dotting the landscape. Another noteworthy aspect of the beach was that it was devoid of people, the only audible sounds being those of the waves crashing against the turf and the cries of seagulls overhead.

"Indeed it is Rainbow." Rarity agreed as she walked out and threw down her towel on the hot sand. "My hairdresser a while ago told me of this lovely spot that's quite a few yards away from the part of the beach with all the restaurants and sports bars by it. It's much more quiet, and may I add, a much more scenic venue."

"Eeyup, ah agree with ya there Rares, this place sure does look peaceful." Applejack said with a nod as she wiped her brow.

"Woah, you're here too, Cass?" They heard someone speak. They looked to their right and saw Mallory, wearing a white sleeveless and a pair of black swimming trunks

"Mallory? You're here too!" Casper said. Aria's eyes widened as she remembered her conversation with him.

" 'Sup everyone." He said to them when he saw Aria. "Aria." He nodded at her.

"H-hey." Aria said, looking down.

"You two know each other?" Casper asked.

"Yeah. We met the other day at a coffee shop." Mallory said as Aria notices a small green light flash through his eyes. "So, don't me stop you from having fun. Let's go!"

"WOOHOO! BEACH TIME!" Pinkie Pie cried out in excitement when she got her first glance of the beach. Then without warning, she jumped into the air, somehow leaving her t-shirt and shorts behind as she flew several feet into the air; revealing her sky blue one-piece with a trio on balloons on her chest in the process.

"Woah, woah, woah!" Mallory shouted as he covered his eyes. "This is not what I payed for writing this chapter!"

"Easy Darling." Rarity cautioned her friend as she removed her clothing, revealing the jet black bikini she was wearing underneath. "We have all afternoon, we don't need to go all out right off the bat." Suddenly, everything slowed down and turned gray.

"Ok, that's it." Mallory said as he double face-palm and walked away. "Go find another character for my spot. I'm going to my hut if you want to find me."

Ok, while we try find another substitute for Mallory, everything went back to normal.

"Rarity's right Pinkie. We should take it easy at least until the other girls get here first." Applejack explained as she removed her daisy dukes and plaid shirt. She was wearing a bright orange one piece. The pink haired party planner reluctantly agreed, opting to help her friends unpack their stuff and lay their towels out where they wanted. Pinkie was quick to set up the radio and turn on some music to help with the Spring Break feel. Sunset and Rainbow Dash were still undressing and stuffing their normal clothes into the duffle bags they brought with them, with Sunset wearing a dark magenta bikini and Dash wearing a yellow and blue one piece; the same swimsuit worn by the ladies of the Canterlot High Swim Team. Rarity laid down on her towel as she put on some designer shades while Applejack set up a lawn chair she brought with her, which she promptly plopped her butt down on.

"Hey, has anyone seen Mallory?" Asked Casper.

"He said that he was going to his hut." Said Pinkie.

"Do you know where it is?" He asked. Pinkie pointed to a small hut nearby.

"Thanks." He said as he walked towards away. When he was at the hut, He saw Mallory playing with cards.

"Hey, Mallory." Casper said. "What are you doing?"

"What do you think?" Mallory said as he gather two cards and placed a black card above it. "It's called Yu-Gi-Oh. Wanna play?" He asked.

"Sure. How do you play it?

"Aw, you beat me again." Casper said as he gathered his cards and shuffled it.

"I know. But you still put up a good fight." Mallory said. "You managed to summon all three God Cards. I can only summon one per Duel."

"Cass? Where are you? We're about to play volleyball." They heard Sonata outside the hut.

"Looks like it's your cue." Mallory said.

"Yeah. See ya." Casper said as he stood up.

"Wait. Take this. As a token of appreciation." Mallory gave him a card.

"No. 39: Utopia." Casper read. "Thanks." He said as he walked away. When Casper was gone, Mallory chuckled.

"If only he knew the reason I gave it to him." He talked to no one in particular.

The game started between AJ and Rainbow Dash vs. Casper and Sonata.

"So what are the rules again?" Asked Sonata.

"Just don't let the ball go to the ground and you'll be fine" said Rainbow as she served the ball.

On the sidelines, Rarity and Sunset were cheering for Casper and Sonata while Aria and Pinkie were cheering for Rainbow and Aj.

"Psst." Aria heard from behind her. She turned around and saw Mallory behind the shack they were staying in. He was calling Aria by waving his hands in a cat-like manner. Aria followed him to the back and he confronted her.

"So, have you thought about it?" He asked, his tone changed entirely.

"I won't do it.." Aria said. Mallory looked at her

"Why?" He asked.

"Because It's not right." She said. "It's not right that I'd control his feelings." Mallory opened his mouth to say something, but he was cut off by her. "And I don't care even if he doesn't remember it. I feel like I'm breaking his trust. After everything he did for me, it..." She paused for a second. "It just doesn't feel right."

Mallory was silent. "Very well. Do you still have it?" He asked, holding out his hand. Aria placed her hand in her hair and gave it to him. "Thank you." He said and walked away back to his hut.. "Enjoy this fine day at the beach." He said.

"It will be your last." He finished. Aria payed no attention as she went back, only to find someone behind her, knocking her out.

A few hours later...

"Hey, where's Aria?" Sonata asked as she flattens the blanket under her. "She's about to miss lunch." She said. Behind her, Casper was setting up the food he made, which includes a variety of sandwiches, some caesar salad, and A pitcher of orange juice.

"Aria's a big girl, she can take care of herself." Casper said.

"I'm here." Aria said. "Sorry I was gone for so long. I wanted to explore the place." She sat down with Sonata.

"It's fine. Now, lef's get to eat. Girls! Food's ready!" Casper shouted. The HuMane 5 rushed to get a bite of Casper's delicious food.

"Mmm. It tastes like a miracle." Rainbow Dash said as she took a bite of her sandwich. The others agree.

"Come on now, I know I'm not that good." He said, blushing at the praise he got.

"Aw, he's so cute when he blushes!" Said Sonata, causing Casper to blush even more, earning a laugh from the girls.

"But seriously, Cass." Said Applejack. "This is mighty good."

"Thanks." Casper said as he finishes eating. Suddenly, Aria stood up.

"Hey, can I show you something?" Aria said as she quickly grabbed Casper's arm and pulled him up.

"Hey, slow down." Casper said as he was helplessly dragged away.

"Should we be worried?" Asked Sonata.

"Nah, I'm sure they'll be fine." Said Rainbow Dash as she ate her sandwich. Meanwhile, Sonata had a strangest feeling that something's wrong with Aria. She was never that excited about something before. Perhaps, she could follow them and see what's wrong with her. And that she did.

Aria, slow down." Casper said as he was continued to be dragged by Aria*

"Just for a little longer." Aria said. "It's just behind those vines." She said, pointing to a cave with lots of vines covering the entrance. They quickly entered it and Aria ans Casper took deep breaths from running too fast.

"So... What do you want me to see?" Casper asked.

"First, how about a glass of water?" Aria* asked, pulling out a small jug. Casper was curious on where she got the jug, but remained quiet as Aria* poured him a cup.

He looked at the cup with water for a second, then drank it. Aria* held a smirk on her face as she held her cup for a moment and tossed its contents to the sand. Casper sighed in refreshment.

"So, what do you want to-" Suddenly, the world around him became vertigo and he fell to the sand, Aria quickly went to his side and placed his arm around her shoulder and lifted him up.

"Are you alright, Casper?" She asked.

"Yeah. I... I think so." Casper said as he stared at her. Then, Casper's eyes glowed a bit pink as he looked at Aria's face. "You know Aria, I never noticed you have such gorgeous eyes." He said.

"Yes!" Aria* thought. "The potion's working."

"Oh, are they now? " Aria* asked seductively.

"Yes." Casper said.

"You know Casper, I've had my eyes for you for a long time. And I was wondering if... How would it feel like if you gave me a kiss." Aria* said.

"Anything for you, my love." Casper said as he kissed her. Aria moaned in delight as their tongues entwined one another

(A/N: I still can't believe I wrote this part... I feel sick just reading this again :pinkiesick:. Alright, next scene.)

Sonata followed Aria and Casper, only to find nothing. There were no footprints, or anything. She continued searching for the two until she heard loud moans. Sonata knew from Aria and sound into a small cave. What she there saw broke her heart and ignited a fire of fury.

"Casper Nocturne!"
