When an American squad of two Russians and three Americans during WW III in 2032 are sucked through a soviet device, they find themselves in a strange land of mythology. They make choices, use skills, and even fight monsters. Will they accept Equestria? Will they get back home? What will happen?

After an accident involving some cattle dying, Winona decides that the only honorable thing to do is to commit ritual suicide. Applejack, Twilight, and Fluttershy try their best to stop her, but this dog is on a mission, and nothing is going to stop her. Well, nothing except spontaneous enlightenment and subsequent immortality.

Written after a really terrible joke about dog seppuku was made on the Seattle's Angels podcast.

This is Cassandra, my OC don't steal. Her interests include having a dark past, saving Twilight when the elements of harmony fail, and being Celestia's long-lost sister. What follows are the adventures, foibles, and shenanigans that the Mane 7 get into. These stories will touch you, spiritually and emotionally; they will make you laugh, make you cry, and hopefully make you love Cassandra as much as I do. You're probably wondering how I came up with the name "Cassandra." Because while it is a beautiful name on its own, the meaning is deeper. Greek mythology tells of Cassandra, daughter of Priam, who is cursed to see the future, but never have anyone believe her. Consequentially, a "Cassandra" is one who says things that are true, but is largely ignored, either because these truths sound ridiculous, or are too painful to hear. While my Cassandra can't literally see the future (because where's the fun in that?), she still tends to be more perceptive than the others. However due to jealousy or inclination of mistrust, other ponies often disbelieve her. That is why her Element of Harmony is Trust; to represent that she has to learn to put trust in less-intelligent, less-reliable ponies, and that other ponies have to realize they should trust her.

Gummy is the best pet in the world! He always listens to me, never moans or complains when I talk too much, and always comes along with me without any resistance. Sure, he isn't much of a talker, but he's a really swell listener. Every day I spend with him is super fantastic!

Yet, Mr. and Mrs. Cake always look sad every time I play with Gummy. Those sillies! Don't they know that Gummy couldn't hurt me even if he wanted to? He's all gums! Duh! Even my friends have been showing "concerns" about my relationship with Gummy.

Willard Eperts had considered himself lucky: He'd attained his dream job of stoking Southern Pacific's Daylight Limited at the age of twenty, he'd made quick friends with the engineer, and when the United States dove into the Second World War in 1941, he'd managed to dodge recruiters and keep his dream job by the skin of his teeth.

Now, he's debtor to a princess in a world of talking ponies, and the only way he can repay his debt is through running loads on the Equestrian Railways. It wasn't even his fault for parking the 400-ton machine on that marble floor.

*Disclaimer: The characters of Willard "Willy" Eperts and Murton "Morty" Turner are completely fictional. Any relation to persons, living or dead, are purely coincidental. The records for the true engineers and firemen of the Daylight fleet of locomotives can probably be found within Union Pacific's historical archives. This was just an idea I had that I wanted to write.
