Meanwhile, a beast of legend has escaped from his prison. Although his changed nature has delighted one of Equestria's rulers, what he brought with him may become an issue.

And by issue, I mean a peril.

...until something unexpected arrived. A tiny creature appears one day in their fortress, in need of compassion and care. Somehow, she finds that in this group of strange individuals, as she becomes their baby.

But sometimes, life will give you surprises you could never predict. For Fluttershy, it was three little foals. But not her own foals, or even orphans. Three little foals that used to be her and her friends' most fearsome and dreaded foes.

Instead of the original plan of throwing him in a dungeon or banishing him to Tartarus, Celestia decides to go with the plan that worked out well enough for Discord.

Pinkie takes the job, and gets right to work in helping Sombra become a better pony. Will Sombra finally change from his old, wicked ways and reform? Or will he instead strangle the annoying, pink menace known as Pinkie Pie?

Shining Armor and Cadence had just expelled the evil Queen Chrysalis from Canterlot after nearly destroying their wedding, but not before Chrysalis successfully planted a spell on Twilight. As the last remaining changeling alive in Equestria, Chrysalis must depend on that single spell alone to win Twilight's love and ultimately ensure the survival of the changeling race.
