4172196 nein, is negative emotion in general. One will often feed emotion into spells and that will either empower it or corrupt it. Usually it corrupts somehow when one does that, but whether or not it is a good thing depends on the emotion. Anger makes the spell volatile and violent and other v-words that mean painful, while happiness will deepen the efficiency of the spell. Hatred... Your correct, often results in darker arcana, but it is also all forms of hatred. Vengeance for example. Wait, crap. I'm taking this too seriously.
