After Sandbar's announcement about him and Yona having done "it" provoked a lot of confusion and embarrassment, now it's Smolder and Ocellus' turn. Their own announcement about "it" creates a different kind of confusion, but still a lot of embarrassment.

When a battered girl claiming to be Sunset Shimmer dropped out of an interdimensional portal into Twilight Sparkle's bedroom, little did Twilight know that she was about to be plunged into a chaotic journey through a multiverse that holds terror and wonder in equal measure.

Now, Twilight must uncover the secrets of this strange Sunset's past, survive the whims of something called Discord, cope with Sunset's eternally-changing hairdo, deal with dozens of doppelgangers--good and bad--of Sunset and herself, and worst of all... once again come face to face with a very real demon of her own creation.

And maybe, just maybe... find a way home.

About the Project:
Formerly known as SunLight Sliders II, this massive collaboration project was originally built in the SunLight Sliders FimFic Group. Feel free to check the original group forums for details on the project, the original material and more.

The project kicked off on January 1, 2018 and ended on April 22, 2018. The goal? Each author writes up to 1,500 words within 3 days, always picking up where the previous one left off. The result? A constantly evolving story about SciTwi and an unknown Sunset Shimmer sent careening throughout the multiverse.

SunLight Sliders: Infinite is being published so everyone's hard work can be seen. Please note that I take no credit for the story save for the chapters I wrote (Collaboration on the Prologue, Chapter 1 and the Epilogue). All Editing by Novel-Idea - Unlike the original SunLight Sliders, I did not do any edits beyond a fast pass on basic grammar and spelling. All chapters are almost exactly as their original authors wrote them. Flash Sentry has come along way from his days as a street rat. He's trained with the best, learned from the wisest and fought against the most wicked. He's met many amazing friends in his adventures, both pony and non-pony, and has helped save Equestria from disaster many times. So why is he so nervous about finally getting the chance to become a Royal Knight, his dream?

Could it be that Flash doesn't feel he's ready yet, or is it something else.

And what of the mysterious ability that Flash has unleashed several times? Will he ever learn where it came from and why he was given it? Will he ever be capable of properly controlling it?

Only time can answer all these questions.

Princess Celestia has lived for a very long time and, as such, has had many regrets. One of her biggest ones was driving away her beloved protégée, Sunset Shimmer, who had abandoned her and jumped through a portal to another world.

As time had passed, Celestia's guilt over Sunset had only grown. To resolve their issues, Celestia made it her mission to bring Sunset back home. Whenever the moon lets her, Celestia crosses the portal herself and uses the little time the portal allows to look for Sunset. Many moons and a few attempts later, Celestia finally finds Sunset!...Or does she?

The girl Celestia finds certainly looks like Sunset and even says that is who she is, but this girl claims to only be a simple guitarist and knows nothing about any "Princess Celestia." What will come of this meeting?

Sometimes, all that having an empathetic talk between two friends requires is cool heads and a quiet moment.

And sometimes, it takes a killer robot attack.

Sunset Shimmer and Flash Sentry just needed a bit more of a push than most... because they have more to talk about.
