Humanity is surprising in many ways. When most expected it to die out from infighting and chaos, it somehow survived, and now, it thrives. Global conflicts, economic and ecological disasters, near-extinction level events and collapses, all of them overcome, all thanks to the undying spirit and will of Humanity. Every challenge thrown their way has been overcome, and they have endured.

However, when a cataclysmic event of immense proportions approaches Earth, Humanity must find a way to preserve their race. Rainbow Dash is flying home for Hearth's Warming break when she has a disastrous crash with Santa Hooves himself. Now, to save the very spirit of Hearth's Warming from fading out forever - and perhaps get herself off the permanent naughty list - she'll have to take up the reigns of the magical reindeer's sleigh to save the holiday!

Of course, her old friend Death is there to lend a very skeletal hoof by trading his robes for a red suit and his scythe for a peppermint stick to take up the role of Santa Hooves... Let's just hope he doesn't mix up his lists, or a lot of ponies will be Late for the holidays.

Lug wasn't the smartest. He knew that. And he was fine with that. As long as he had a club to swing or a ripper gun to fire, he was content, and there wasn't much thought needed beyond that.

And like many other Ogryn, he was content to serve the Imperium and it's interests until he died.

Until one fateful space skirmish with the forces of chaos, a drop-pod sent him careening through the warp, and soon after, into the Land of Equestria.
