Celestia has had many friends in her lifetime, with just as many falling outs and arguments as one would suspect to occur in those bonds that simply never stay. Most of the time, she parts ways peacefully with those she has argued with. Other times, she must view the aged ponies she loved on their deathbed and the immortal goddess must offer her farewell.

This is not one of those times.

A head full of romance is what many Canterlot ponies would call a frivolous waste of time. Everypony was meant to play by the rules of high society: keep your nose in the air, laugh at important ponies' jokes, and attend all of the right parties. Upper Crust and Jet Set had been diligent in raising their daughter Crystal Wishes to be a pony everypony would know, but she wanted more out of life than that. She hoped she would someday meet a handsome prince and fall in love, just like in the stories she wrote.

Crystal knew life wasn't as easy as a foal's tale, but that didn't stop her from dreaming. All of the wishes, hopes, and dreams inside her heart escaped into her precious notebook as she wrote about princesses in power and dashing knights. So long as nopony found out her secret, she could continue to play the part of a dutiful daughter while waiting for her own love story to begin.

Everything seemed to be alright the day that Discord came back to Canterlot under the watchful eye of Celestia as a (mostly) redeemed draconequus. But the luxurious life of royalty is so... BORING! "Do something creative," they said, "It'll be fun," they said. Thus it was that Discord sat down and began writing the worst stories he could imagine! But between posh living, running a ministry, court dates, random quests from Celestia and Luna, and learning about the magic of friendship, surely these stories can't be that bad, can they?

Melody. The only name she has ever known. She knows many things, yet they must stay hidden. Found as a filly, she has a rare heritage and she has already many enemies, ever since she was first found. As she grows up, she finds other friends in the most unlikeliest of places... Places her mentors may not necessarily want her to go. Struggling to find her own status in the world, Equestria's fate in the balance, who knows if you can trust anyone or anything in this dangerous game, with many hidden twists and turns, often most heartbreaking. Now, Melody must unite Equestria, before it's too late for anypony. And this secret that she was condemned for knowing since day one... What if she doesn't even know what they're talking about?

Every week, Equestria's princesses take a break from ruling their kingdom and discuss life. Usually over coffee.

And since they've barely begun being Luna's Protégées, there's still a great deal left for them to learn.

Naturally, since they're still fillies, there will be some missteps, mistakes, and even the odd problem or two along the way. But, it's nothing they can't handle, as long as they have each other!
