After dying in a predictably stupid car accident, a human wakes up paralyzed and unable to see or feel anything... which seems reasonable for the aftermath of an argument with a truck, until Celestia starts talking and he figures out that he's dreaming that he's Discord. And then the Elements set him free and he figures out no, actually, this isn't a dream. Begins right before "Keep Calm and Flutter On", and the first few chapters crib a lot of dialogue from that.

Not Displaced, but it is one of those "human wakes up in the body of an Equestrian supervillain" stories. However. Fellow Discord fans. Trust me, I'm not gonna write a story about our boy where the real thing never makes an appearance. The actual Discord will show up sooner or later. Also not a self insert, as should be obvious if you listen to the main character talk about himself for about 30 seconds.

This is a commission for The Bird, but the original story idea was mine and I take credit for everything except the impetus to actually write the damn thing.

Oh My God, I LOVE IT!

My day was going great at first. Work was over for the week and I was leaving with a few mates to go hang in the city before heading home.

My plans kinda got detrailed though, when I melted into one of the walls and found myself in the Castle of the Two Pony Sisters from MLP. On top of that, I've, for whatever reason, turned into an anthropomorphic filly Alicorn.

Just what the hell is going on and how can I go home as a half pony?

Things could have been better, but I was making my way through the day to day. Then my parents die in an accident, and when I'm finally able to start moving on I'm contacted by the God Pokemon Arceus with an offer to go to Equestria because Discord apparently did something to a bunch of other people that turned them into Pokemon, and he says he needs someone to keep an eye on things for him. I've got nothing really holding me to my life here anymore, so I agree.

Having to become a Mew and not being able to return to Earth isn't all that bad a price to pay, even if catnip makes my head go all funny now.

Spitfire has a secret she's told to nopony she knows, terrified of the prospect what they'll do when they figure it out. So what will she do when the rookie accidentally finds out?
