Thomas, a human, has appeared in the magical land of Equestria, though it is much different from the show. Ponies of this world are all anthros. What's more, Thomas has been assigned as Princess Luna's royal concubine.

I want to punch those 2 in the face, they just rub me the wrong way.
And now I'm hoping that WHEN they decide to have children, should it turn out that they can, she goes for both a natural conception AND the frozen embryo, potentially resulting in twins.

If you think this is uncomfortable, just wait for what's next... in an unknown number of months
9006534
Eh. Probably not.
9006543
...to which part?
Huh.... I don't remember the fight...guess I'll just have to read the story again
Not gonna lie. I'd love to see how his mates become with pregnancy hormones running through them.
Thomas, you stupid ass. NEVER hide things from your doctor. NEVER!
9006564
Twins and artificial insemination.
9006565
Enjoy!
9006590
Won't be for a good while, though.
9006689
And yet so many do for the exact same fears.
im just gonna say. sperm cells move STUPIDLY slow. it takes anywhere up to 5 days for a sperm cell to get to an egg thats only a couple center-meters away from it. just saying homie.
What about when the blastocyst implants in the wrong place and carrying the baby to term would have a high chance of killing the mother part way, or at the end? Like there have been cases where it missed the womb and or implanting too close to the intestine and the placenta caused organ damage.
I had completely forgotten about this stallion. Glad to the story actually going somewhere different, other than the typical Slice of Life stuff. Slice of Life is good and all, but it gets old fast after a while IMO.

This chapter isn't about looking too deeply into such details. The issue is brought so it can be referenced in a later doctor visit.

So one of my editors has told me.
9007454
... Neat.
At first, I was glad the firestorm plot is back. Now I almost wish it wasn't. Firestorms have that Danzo aura from Naruto going on where his organization will do whatever they can to preserve 'their' vision of Equestria. I sincerely wish there is not a torture scene in the future.

I can neither confirm, nor deny such a scene.
The word is 'diurnal.'

I now suddenly do not like the two not matter there intentions there paranoia towards Thomas and potentially his child bring up very dark and disturbing implications. I cannot imagine how Luna and Celestia would take news of loved ones getting harmed but I know it would not be pretty given both are very experienced and adept and playing off individuals and quite good at destroying a person with words and might. Anyway keep it up!
Meh, I don’t really care about Firestorm and his conspiratorial/thriller type nonsense. I’m really here for the romance, the clop, and the interesting examination of relationships within the society. I find Firestorm more annoying since his existence seems to indicate a large level of incompetence on the Alicorns and anyone who is in charge of their counterespionage.
9008530
Huh. So it is. Thanks for clearing that up.

I'm really liking how I wrote Firestorm and the reactions he's getting. He's laid back, but quietly sinister. He's acting for the greater good of Equestria, but with all the negative baggage that comes with such a mentality. For a while I'd honestly been considering writing him out of the story, but a suggestion from an editor gave me a way to finally bring him back with some actual intrigue. Here's hoping this can continue for a long while yet.

I see your point, and agree on many parts. However, I've heard even more arguments for why simple slice of life can get a little repetitive without a little fantastical interruption. There are (hopefully) some good explanations for what Firestorm is doing and how he's gotten away with so much, but that's still a ways off. In the meantime, the primary focus will remain - as it always has - on the mundanity of slice of life in a fantasy world.

Umm, I think it’d be hard to explain why he’s able to keep a spell on someone this long, especially when that person is privy to top secret information. Unless I’ve missed or am misremembering something, he’s been able to get away with everything because of the spell he put on him after one meeting. That’s the equivalent of planting a bug on someone and if it’s the same bug, that means that they don’t do regular bug sweeps in secure locations where top secret information will be told.
I also believe the spell he used was some type of tracking spell, do they not check key personnel regularly for those? Because I could plant a couple of those on servants and then start mapping the castle as well as potentially plan kidnappings or other clandestine operations with perfect knowledge, since apparently it’s really easy to get around the castle wards to spy on what’s being said. Also, it’s good to know that doctor offices have really bad privacy security as well because of the same problem. And that they allow a person to have active spells on them which could potentially cause interference with results.

All fair points that I'll take into consideration.
Im fearing for thomas’s safety .-. I’m not sure of firestorm’s intentions but i don’t think its anything good...
9011602
Then I have succeeded.
9010748
No problem.

Finally caught up! Dang. Hurry up and make some more please :P
Also just a little while back I was wondering about Firestorm, and here we are. Also damn that bug is some serious magic, if it's resisting professional scans, mystical castle wards, and in a world full of magically sensitive beings including the princesses! Heck you think it's run out of power and die off by now. @_@
Fluorescent. Florescent is a real word, but not the one you want.
I think you want dam in the two cases here.
9013669
Thanks for the catches.
9015123
Gotcha, confused him with reporters. Also no worries as separating out any content for me at least (the others maybe), I was just amused by it in passing.
Looking forward to more though!
9015127
Maybe one day it'll appear, even as a B-plot in a chapter
If not, at least it's a fun idea. TARDIS dress shenanigans.
9019611
Here's hoping for many more months of entertaining stories.

Loved the chapter and your work in general. But when I saw that you were bringing back firestorm, I ended up skipping over it in distaste. I'm hoping you do something that will bring me and others around (please don't change your vision just based on us) but until then I will get my big game rifle and start engraving two names in particular on the rounds.

I'm curious over how there's all this hate over a guy that hasn't actually done anything yet.
I remembered that scene with the GI Joe theme while I was listening to some music and wondered how your ponies would react to it. Thought it might be fun to tell you, for some reason.

Such thoughts frequent my head on an hourly basis.
Every time I read Dr Feelgood, this song would play in my head:

Excellent.
