I'm just a reader who enjoys some of the many stories on this site. The question I have is: why the heck do I have 3 followers when I neither do a blog nor post stories? I'm not interesting on this site!

I have a huge soft spot for Spitfire, and I'd never seen the idea of she and Sunset being sisters before, so it was an intriguing setup, but yeah, longer story, hard to compare.

I write a lot about the sirens from Rainbow Rocks, who many people portray as immortal. I don't see it that way myself, as I think that would drastically alter the characters, so in some respects by Chrysalis/Celestia story was my attempt to examine what immortality must actually mean and how it would alter your perspectives. Ultimately the fondness for someone you have shared/will share centuries with outweighs the anger you have over your disagreements with them (although whether that would extend to Tirek, I don't know).

I'd argue yours is better but Dahlia is a longer piece so a little harder to objectively compare. You do a very good job at getting across true agelessness and the horror that is a true Sisyphean task and what it could do to a person. It's why I found you're story so fascinating. Add on that you create good reasoning for why Chrysalis is the way she is and you have a great work.
