Hello there, my name is or was Kyle but now I go by Axel. You see, what started as just me and 13 of my friends going to a convention cosplaying as Organization XIII from Kingdom Hearts II for my 18th birthday, has ended in us becoming Organization XIII, coming to Equestria, being labeled as enemy's of Equestria and having all the ponies hating us including that S.O.B named Celestia. But you know what, I don't care; if I'm stuck here and miss sun butt isn't going to help us get home then I might as while have some fun well I'm here till we find a way home.

Kasin, a low self-esteem 17 year old teenager has just lost everything again. When things seem bleak, he is brought to Equestria where he'll meet six ponies that revive his will to live.

But it won't be all fun and games even if the Elements have a new friend. With the revolutionaries on a rampage, Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Fluttershy, and Kasin must do their best to rise against the foes that threatens the harmony of Equestria and to their friends.

So, I accepted an invitation from a first cousin, once removed. It seemed like a sweet deal at the time, I mean, there were these conventions I wanted to go and he so graciously offered me a place to stay! Alright, so I had to share a room with my brothers, but I had the first convention all for myself! Plenty of cash to spend, and my costume was really easy to make!

Naturally, I spent all of the money that didn't go into my costume on everything that caught my fancy.

I should have left that table alone.

Now? Now... I am not as mad at Celestia as I could have been, as I should have been, all things considered. I can't help but let it be smoke in the wind.

It's in my nature.

And she... she knew there was a chance it would happen.

Alright, do you want some advice?
Don't go evil if you don't want to have heroes trying to kill you repeatedly. I know, sometimes you have to do things that are morally questionable, but at others, just be a good guy. Wait in line rather than summon a horde of undead to tear the throats out of everybody except the barista. Or just freeze everybody in place. That's at least funny in a conventional sense.
I'm (sort of) reformed now.
Unfortunately, there're these six mares and their ruler who are making this VERY DIFFICULT.

I was known as Frank DeFontaine. I was going to a Halloween party. I was a pretty intelligent kid, starting my first college term, and decided a little dress-up couldn't hurt.
My buddy Richard got involved, though. And like everything, he took it a bit too far. This time, I didn't say no, though. I really should have.
Next thing I know, we're going all-out on making my Dullahan costume. Because he's my favorite optional boss, and all.
Really shoulda known something was up when that guy behind the counter just so happened to have a sword that fit our specifications perfectly.
Next thing I know, I'm in Equestria. And I'm missing a head.

My name is Adrian Decimus. For years I was the scourge of society because of chaos magic beyond my control, something that had surrounded me since the day I suddenly arrived in Equestria. But things are changing. Princess Celestia and Princess Twilight have helped me to nullify the chaos magic, and—according to old artifacts—I am meant to fall in line with the Elements of Harmony and protect them as they carry out the crown's bidding.

But things are brewing on the horizon. Things neither the crown nor I saw coming. Things that the Elements are going to need me for, sooner rather than later. And I'm not sure that I'm ready.

The tyrant with direct access to my mind isn't sure I'm ready, either.

This story's prologue has been edited in the last eight years since it was written, though it is still very contrived in many ways. I am, however, very excited about the world I've created, and am looking forward to exploring it through Song One. If you'd like to skip over the prologue (which isn't a hundred percent necessary to understanding the story), please read the first half of the first chapter (Song Zero - Prelude), then skip to Song One - Prophesies and Fallacies. Thank you for taking the time to check out some of these weird horse words I started writing when I was 15—it means a lot.

When our protagonist awakens in the Everfree Forest, he is not alone. Transformed into a creature he once thought to be fictional, and accompanied by his close family he must find his way through this new land. Can he build a new life for them all in Equestria, and how will the ponies react to these strange creatures? Particularly when they find out about a certain TV show.
