In the forgotten lore of Equestria, legends speak of a time before the dominion of the Celestial Sisters, or the tyranny of Discord. Myths tell of terrifying, vengeful, Gods that ruled over the land without mercy and the live sacrifices they demanded.Fables herald the coming of two benevolent and merciful Gods, who shepard Equestria into a new world leaving the cruel Gods; and their world, behind.
It is said however, that one day the Gods of the Old World will find Equestria, and shall rain their wrath down upon the land. Yet, a prophecy details the coming of a savior, a mortal, that shall come from the Old World before the return of the Gods. With his arrival he shall gather around him, The Elements of Harmony and make them whole, and with that power challenge the Old Gods.
Nothing is written on who shall win, or who shall lose, but in the darkest hour one must have hope.

Edit: After checking some of my source material, I'm going to be playing loose with a few "facts" in certain mythologies.

Even with a powerful defense, Pinkie-Pie was charged with one count of Murder, but fled Ponyville soon after, her friend Fluttershy honorably taking the fall for her escape and herself being imprisoned for being an Accomplice. Five years later, a Detective Pony, Mr.W.Quill, will learn and discover the mystery of Pinkie Pie's Dark Descent, and the grim, bloody trail that was left in its wake. How the story ends...only through hearing the tale will the Detective discover it. He is willing to unravel the truth behind a plot of sinister evil...and will learn what a Pink Mare had to do, to save herself, and a town under siege

This is the tale of a baker, who had everything...and a colt of Power took her friend away, destroyed her happiness, and accused her of a most atrocious crime...and in her sorrow...a new mare was born. Never Forget...NEVER...Forgive.

Octavia is a high-class pony. Fine alcohol is her wont, and uncouthness her intense chagrin. Such is her surprise to find herself lumbered with an insufferable oaf of a DJ pony. However, sometimes these situations work themselves into a satisfactory ultimatum all the same.

The following is a continuation and sequel of Pinkamena: The Dark Descent

It's been a few days since Pinkie Pie, the Party Pony of Ponyville returned from being banished to the moon after killing Inspector Trottington. Upon a review of her own actions and mentality during her "baking", Pinkie Pie seeks the professional help of Luna and a close Therapist Pony friend of hers in hopes to find the answers as to why she was so comfortable and unbothered by what she did. What they discover...is unimaginable. A dark entity is living inside Pinkie Pie, and although it has never controlled her, it had influenced her dark actions after being awoken from the sorrowful emotions of the Pink Mare. When a spell to rid this entity misfires, the entity succeeds in escaping from its pink prison, and escapes from Canterlot, fleeing to Ponyville. It's reasoning and purpose unknown, it finds and corrupts the first pony it comes in contact with...Twilight Sparkle.

Returning to the scene is our friend Detective W. Quill, curious as to the origins of The Entity and what its intentions are. Along for the ride comes Scootaloo and Fluttershy, hoping to aid the detective in his case.

With Twilight "Ponynapped", Canterlot in a state of shadowy chaos, and The Entity threatening all of Equestria...

...one Pink Mare, armed with a lantern, matches, and her own sanity...must travel to a place of nightmares, and begin A Darker Descent.

Fluttershy is your typical pony. Kind, caring...and lonely. When a new colt comes into town and takes a local Bandmaster job, Fluttershy finds him strangely attractive...

"Twilight Sparkle is at college age, with no life experience. Living in the castle in Canterlot for most her life, her only friends are her books and, in his mind, Queen Luna's student Harmony Spirit. Queen Celestia has decided that her young student needs to learn that there is more to life than books. So now she has to go to collage in a little town of Ponyville, but the education she will find there will be far more than she imagined she would ever learn."

Little things to remember:
- This is an anthro(Furry) story. Ponies evolved (with magick) and some races in this world are feral, but stand erect. Such as Gryphons, young Dragons, and so on.
- The story is set in a universe that is like a retelling of the FiM series. Once just an excuse to write an anthro(Furry) version of the show, because of Shon Howell's pictures of Twilight in collage, has grown into a series of stories that has a deep history, and characters mostly its own. Some events are mentioned from the show.
- I replace many words with more pony sounding words, just as the show, but I am pretty strict about it. Such as "Hoof(ves)" in place of hand(s) even if they have hands and fingers, they spent generations having only hooves.
- Celestia and Luna are Queens of their respective hours. Lauren had stated that she was going to have them as Queens, but Princess was more acceptable to little girls. (Darn Disney)
- It is a Queendom, a term I picked up from "The Looking Glass Wars" Since it is ruled by two Queens, with no grumpy males. hehe
- There are many countries around Equestria, with many races who also have made homes in the pony Queendom.
- Bay-B is the Bayland Beyond. A Multipurpose social device, like an iPhone or Android, with a laptop, and Nintendo DS mixed in. Pretty much the only thing in the market that does just about anything you can think. (Becomes pretty background after the first two chapters)
- Ponies are very open, so things like being naked, same sex couples, and sharing the land with all walks/trots/flights/etc. of life, is not a big deal. Though Unicorns are kinda stuck up about nudity in public. Silly shame.
- There are a few Original Characters in here, as well as some Background Ponies.

I have been pouring a lot into making a rich history, and develop the characters with the same passion as the show. It has made me grow as a writer. I am no New York Times Best Seller, so little things might be off, but hopefully will not ruin the experience.

This story is based on characters from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic cartoon series. Characters which are under ownership of Hasbro and Lauren Faust. I claim no ownership of the original characters, nor is this a licensed work of either. This is a work of fan faction.

This is a furry(anthro) style story, so all characters are to be considered as such. It is set in its own universe, apart from the one the show is. It is a different spin on the series, set in a deep history devolved from inspiration from the original series. As such, some events are inspired by the original story, some lines and/or plots may have been used or modified for the purpose of humor, or connectivity to those events.

Everyone's favorite musical pairing is back in another fanfic! Octavia and Vinyl are now room-mates, and are like any other couple...but how will they react when they discover there's another about to show up?

A seemingly average man in an dull life receives a Unicorn's horn, a magician's cape, and an ancient journal from his now-dead great grandfather after being lost in the postal service for more than 30 years. With only a few hints and a limited store of magic in a world that otherwise lacks magic completely he seeks to know the truth about his family's legends, and his heritage.

While the story itself is complete, as readers find errors and point them out to me I'll be going back occasionally to fix them. Thanks for all the comments and suggestions. The direct sequel is now in the works, as to the alternate continuation that lost the vote at the end if anyone cares to read it. I may or may not also work on that one from time to time depending on my mood.

Having joined the Wonderbolts to increase her skill as a flier and have fun seemed like a good idea long ago, but after seeing the accomplishments of Rainbow Dash, Spitfire begins to question her freedom, approaching the rainbow maned pegasus one night after a show. When Rainbow Dash is questioned about her motives to join the Wonderbolts, her answer surprises Spitfire, and the two come up with a wonderful idea.

This is my first ponyfic, so I'd like some feedback. If you have any questions I'm glad to answer. Of all the shipping I've seen this is probably my favorite, and this is my take on it.
