Sunset Shimmer's plans of revenge against the Princess had everything going right, up until she came back through the portal. She thought the biggest problem would be the crown being given to Celestia. Instead, she does the right thing, to the shock of everyone, and is now dead. But her uncharacteristic sacrifice and unique origins has created an opportunity for the Spirit Realm. Under the employment of Botan, a grim reaper, and Koenma, the heir to the Spirit Realm, Sunset is unknowingly given one last chance to earn the crown and wings that she so desperately coveted once before.

Hey everypony, just wanted to thank you all for checking this out ahead of time. I loved watching and reading Yu Yu Hakusho as a kid. For the last year+ I've had this thought lodged in my head that kept pushing Sunset as an incredible Spirit Detective. Out of all the unpublished stuff I started, this was one few crossover ideas that I'm surprised has never been replicated by someone else... so a few of my friends finally convinced me to polish it up and publish. So, here it is!

It takes place in the mid/late 2010s and not in the 1990s. Additionally, no Yusuke, Keiko, and Kuwabara... the rest? Well, you'll just have to wait and see!

Desperate for dates on Hearts and Hooves Day, Twilight Sparkle created a spell that would make others ask her to be their date. She's too shy to make a move herself.

But a mistake made the spell go wrong. The one who would get the action Twilight longed for was one that did not want love in this way. Even if she once thought that she would never get enough love!

Entry for the "No Author left unnoticed" Holiday Competition, with Heart and Hooves day being chosen as the holiday to make the story about, obviously.

Last, but not last, special thanks to flutterJackdash for editing this story. The edits came a day after the story was submitted, so the errors I missed when editing it are fixed now.

Celestia and the sun are connected, to the point where when something happens to Celestia everypony can immediately see the sun acting up as well. What few ponies know is that this connection works both ways, and those times when the sun acts up, this has... certain effects on Celestia.

Celestia wants nothing more than to keep it a secret so as few ponies as possible worry about her. But keeping a secret from her stubborn, curious and loving marefriend might prove to be more difficult than she expected.

Due to the same force that changed her, dark shadows have begun to spread across Equestria, bringing to life these ancient fairy tales. And Twilight might just be the only one that can stop them...

After some inspiration from from my good pal Gunflame, I'm throwing my hat into the ring for a good Sonic/MLP crossover. And I aim to give it the much needed improvement in quality that's so desperately needed with this particular crossover genre. I'll strive to make this one of the premier Sonic/MLP crossover stories on the web.

Applejack and Luna have been dating for some time, and in that time Applejack has watched as Luna tore herself up inside over long held frustrations that never waned. Luna does her best to control those emotions, locking them away in the recesses of her mind, but that may be doing more harm than good.

Applejack wants Luna to air her frustrations before they air themselves, but after so long, Luna simply isn't able to. Every part of her that could, all assertiveness and confidence and anything else that made Nightmare Moon who she was, is locked away too deep to dig out. As she is, Luna has no choice but to bottle it all up.

So, it's time for Nightmare Moon to make a return.

This is set in the same universe as my short story anthology, but it'll stand entirely on its own. There's no need to read any of those other stories, but they are there if you're interested!

Sweet Biscuit may or may not have a slight cookie addiction. She also may or may not break into Anon’s house to steal his cookie jar. Again. Or maybe it’s just because she misses him.

Either way, they're happy enough to see each other again.

... Though that doesn't mean Anon won't lose a sweet or two in the process.
