Now she's getting a little more field experience than she'd like.
With strange ponies recognizing her on the street and her best friend plagued by nightmares, Evenstar finds herself thrust into events seven thousand years in the making. What is the strange symbol that keeps cropping up in her life? How can someone she's never met know so much about her? And who was Twilight Sparkle?
But there is still hope, for even in a world of shadow and fear, true friendships never fade.

This story is a sequel to Nothing is Constant

Twilight wants to be alone. Rarity knows that being alone is the last thing she needs.

So come hell or high water, she'll be there. Because, sometimes, if you tarry until you're better, you'll never come out at all.

Twilight has learned that ponies can change a lot in only a year or two.

And she's okay with that. Maybe.

Eldritch abominations from outer space abduct an orange yokel. The country bumpkin is fine. The aliens are not.

The story is generally the same. A group of ponies go on a quest to stop an insane alicorn who had escaped banishment, learning about friendship along the way and mastering the Elements of Harmony. But the details...

It can be Trixie Lulamoon leading the Elements of Harmony against Corona.
Rainbow Dash could be Celestia's student and go to Ponyville.
Equestria could have a deep connection to three young people in its distant past.
The Elements of Harmony could have been moved to Manehattan for the ponies to quest for.
Princess Cadance might rule over an Equestria of music, with Octavia as her prized protege.
Or Spike and Twilight might have their roles reversed, the former a stallion and the Element of Magic.

And each one has been chosen by Discord, an Element removed to a seventh Equestria for purposes as yet unknown. Can they survive? Can they get home? Read and find out!
