Ok, where was I? Ah yes, I was just entering my office in Downtown Houston one afternoon to hear a job offer. When I got there, I found a beautiful, robe-wearing woman waiting for me. Now, in this day and age, most people would find that strange. I didn't for two reasons.

1) In this line of work, you run into a few crazies. If I had a dollar for every nut-job I turned away, I could buy a small European country.

2) It was Halloween. Hell, I was on my way to a party dressed in a replica suit of Veteran Ranger Armor from Fallout: New Vegas, complete with gas mask and real riot gear I borrowed from a friend on the SWAT team. I was gonna win the costume contest for sure!

I'm getting off topic, aren't I? Anyways, this weirdo offered me a job without going into much detail. No location, no objective, not even a dollar amount The only thing I got out of her was the promise that I would be saving thousands, if not millions of lives.

Every instinct told me to turn the job down, and yet I still accepted it. Maybe the idea of playing hero again had its appeal.

God, I had no idea what I was getting myself into.

Our favorite old time traveling Doctor has been alone his entire life, and he had pressed it down until one night he shows up one Twilight's doorstep.

Now Twilight must somehow make sense of the outpouring misery of one of the most complex minds in the universe, and, somehow, comfort poor old Doctor Whooves.

A short, feel good tale I wrote as part of a one-hour-challenge. Enjoy.

The Mane Six were good friends with the Doctor in his 10th incarnation. However the Doctor never told them about his ability to regenerate and what that entails. So they aren't taking too kindly to some bow-tie wearing imposter running around with the TARDIS

However, when they enter the world of Equestria, they have to start off in a world they know nothing about, doing whatever they can to earn the money to repay the ones that help them while trying to live a peaceful life. One can only hope that their lives are peaceful.

October, 2179. The USCSS Alhambra has discovered a distant planet amazingly rich in precious ores and minerals designated as "LV-1349."

Mining goes rather well for about a week or so.
Until the entire crew of the Alhambra vanishes.

With a massive payload worth billions waiting to be towed back, the United States Colonial Marines are called upon to investigate the missing crew and bring the Alhambra back to Earth. Their orders also include avoiding the local equine populace as much as possible... but as we all know, sometimes even the best laid plans can go to waste.

Taking place shortly after the failed changeling invasion of Canterlot, how can he keep from being revealed by new security measures, and blend into this new world, while making use of the most unlikely of allies? But of course, avoiding ponies only turns out to be the easy part when trouble has a habit of reading its ugly head. Really though, what could go wrong?
