This story is a sequel to What Have You Done?

Chrysalis, the Changeling Queen, has taken her prize, unhindered by Equestria's precious heroes. Celestia is little more than another prisoner of war now. The Bearers of the Elements of Harmony are lost, and the Elements themselves have turned away from Equestria's plight. As the world they once knew begins to crumble, a single question is asked among the people as they look up at their fallen heroes.

There is no such thing as "miserably ever after," for someone will always be fighting for things to change. Hope doesn't die just because someone's turned off the lights. Truth doesn't vanish when deceit begins its reign, and Harmony can only shine brighter among chaos.
Even as this world falls, we'll work to build it up again.
Even as you lose yourself, you can find greater things within you.
Even as fear rises up like a tidal wave, we'll forge a sanctuary to stand against it.
Even as you break, someone will always be standing there next to you to carry you through it.

Princess Cadence, as the princess of love, has certain projects. One of them, is running a special center in her kingdom. But now, she has run into a situation that may just be over her head.

Discord has found Tirek, and is about to parade him back to his friends for their love and adoration. But an offer is made, an enticing offer... He'll need to talk this one over with a friend.

Equestria has been released from Tirek's control, but victory has come with a cost. Unlike her friends, Fluttershy has been mysteriously ill ever since unlocking her key to the chest, and everypony has gathered at her house to tend to her. However, one night, Discord witnesses her undergoing a shocking transformation that has even him confused. He's willing to just shrug it off, however, until the rest of her friends discover it and tell him that what he has just witnessed is no laughing matter, but rather something that could change everything. If the issue is not contained, Equestria could be in jeopardy only mere weeks after it was last threatened. Caught in a whirlwind of drama and questions, only one thing seems true: another villain has outconned even Discord.

And he doesn't like that one bit.

What Rarity doesn't know is Spike still loves her, but he's getting sick and tired of the way she treats him, even though he's a teenager now. Will this be a roller coaster ride for both of our lovelies, or will it end horribly?
