Set only a week after the banishment of Princess Luna to the moon, the realm of Equestria is in a state of upheaval. Celestia's royal guard attempt to regain control over the vast empire once ruled by dual monarchs, and the young alicorn's actions as a ruler have become a subject of scrutiny after her sister's attempted coup. Two factions have risen in the turmoil: The Knights of the Sun and The Bright Moon.

Far away from the political infighting and sword rattling exists a small mining town on the outskirts of Equestrian territory. Where once the royal guard would have no trouble fending off raids from bandits or other criminals, the panic of the capitol has caused a withdrawal of military forces to more essential cities and trading ports. Completely undefended and without a spell or sword amongst them, this town was soon overrun by a band of bi-pedal canines calling themselves the Diamond Dogs. As brutal as they are lazy, the Diamond Dogs have forced the local population to work until collapse to collect gems from the town mine.

Outraged by his inability to fend off these bandits and thieves, a young unicorn named Bone Marrow tries with all of his might to find his purpose in life - his cutie mark - and hopes that it will be enough to drive off the invaders of his home. He will soon discover that his special talent is far more than he bargained for.

During one of Trixie's performances, one of the spells inadvertently sends herself, Fluttershy, and Sweetie Belle to the Wizarding World of Britain and into the care of a wizard named Humph.

This being, of course, a world where unicorn blood is the most valuable substance on Earth.

When she learns that the mirror is also a portal to another world, well, what else was she supposed to do? But it seems that she hadn’t considered every possibility. She hadn’t, for example, considered that she might get herself trapped on the other side. Nor did she think she’d find herself transformed into a child again.

It was supposed to be so simple. Step into the teleporter and join Eli Vance and his daughter, Alyx Vance at Black Mesa East. Of course, life hardly proved to be simple to Gordon, and today was no exception. Having only just been brought back by his inhuman 'friend', Gordon once more finds himself face to face with the not quite human individual who seems to hold a particular interest in him. Worse, this face to face just so happen to coincide when the teleporter goes ballistic thanks to a certain domesticated headcrab.

Now Gordon finds himself in a strange world with even stranger inhabitants, without any weapon to defend himself. Will he be able to survive, or will the magic of friendship and harmony do irreparable damage to his respectable intellect?

Also, just where did his crowbar end up?

This fic was requested by Mr-War. Although he was not all too specific with what he wanted other than it should be a crossover with Half Life, and just let me come up with the general story. So, here it is. A silly fic about Gordon going on a chase to find his crowbar. Don't expect it to be too serious. Characters may act out of character from time to time, although I do try to keep it to a minimum. Updates will also be sporadic, as I am focusing most of my time on my own fics. But those who know me should be used to this by now.

And now Ryu finds himself in the land of Equestria, a strange land for one such as himself. But here he shall seek to improve himself while fighting the best ponies in the land to reach the pinnacle of fighting. For Diamond Tiara he is a master who can help her overcome her foes and herself. For Rainbow Dash he is a rival to defeat so she can prove that she is a great fighter. And for Zecora he is a student that she hopes to keep on the right path.

But the ponies must be careful of this noble soul, despite his calm and kind demeanor. For if pushed too far they might see that even the most kindhearted of fighters...can house deep within a raging demon.
