A middle aged brony inexplicably replaces Chrysalis as a new changeling queen some decades before the fruition of a certain pony prophesy. Now the new queen must figure out how to manage a kingdom that has been in a slow, seemingly irreversible, decline for the past several thousand years.

When you were growing up as the only human in Equestria you knew you were different. With your canine fangs, these wrigglers you have on your hoof and being an omnivore, you gave up on having friends. Until one alicorn change it all.

I might switch it to third person depending on the story's perspective or you guys' opinion. Cover art is done by me.

Hi! The name is John Gate. I'm from California, and I work at a pizzeria for a living. Well... I used to. Now, I'm stuck in a land full of magical ponies as a freaking crocodile. That's right, a crocodile. However, not just any crocodile, a Krookodile from Pokémon!

I mean, it would be cool if it weren't for the fact that these horses can't understand a thing I say! Not to mention, some crazy pink pony made me her pet! Well, I can't really complain all that much. At least I have a new little friend. Ain't that right, Gummy?

Today I did not wake up in a place I recognize. Not that I can remember how I got here. Where even is here? A castle of crystals in a magical world of pastel-colored talking horses. It's like a dream, only I'm also a wearied, mutant bug monster.

What in the world is a changeling? Oh, and what is that about a war we're apparently responsible for? This looks like it's shaping up to be a hell of a new day, at least, if I don't get squashed like a bug before it can even start.

I have moved to the land of Equestria and already I hate it, though it wasn't like I had a choice on the matter. It was here or elsewhere, and considering here was ruled by a lovely Princess; it seemed like the better option.

So, I get an invitation to a convention right? Well the name was a little weird I'll admit, but I thought 'hey free stuff!' sadly my ticket didn't get me a plane or a train; instead it got me a crazy cab driver who was insane! Now I'm in a place called Equestria where I'm the main character in one of their little kid shows, but the fans are all full grown adults. Why do the weird things always happen to me instead of Jason? Anyway this is going to be an interesting vacation to say the least.
