I'm older than your average brony, but then I've always enjoyed cartoons. I'm an experienced reviewer, EqD pre-reader, and occasional author.

For those fans of writing very short stories, check out Loganberry's Flashfic group and the monthly event. Entries for May are due in about 2 days, but that's plenty of time to write 150 words. They're great exercises in economy of words and keeping focused on what's truly essential to the story, the same reason I used to like the write-off association's minific rounds.

Biscuit, I'm not surprised by. The others, I continue to wonder how they ever found me.

Admiral Biscuit talks it up, and I swear I saw another recommendation for it recently, but it was in comments, so it's a lot harder to find. Probably in a blog post by Loganberry, Chris, or Present Perfect.

Plus Chris gave positive ratings to "Lest We Remember" and "101 Heinous Crimes Perpetrated by King Sombra." And Loganberry gave positive reviews to "Iron Wing and the Demolition Crew," "Rainbow Dash and the Pie Sisters," and "This Isn't War."

Yeah, I'm not buying anyone recommended You Can't Eat Gold for a caffeine-fueled hummingbird's heartbeat. I don't understand why that thing appealed to so many people.

The former, from seeing the comments you leave on many stories, not just my own. And the latter from seeing them turn up in reviews here and there. "You Can't Eat Gold" came well recommended.

Not sure where you derived either of those positive attributes from, really. I mean, I assume you do talk to people.
