This was a nice, sweet story to read for the Holidays! Good job!
It is a very interesting take on my prompt, given that I specified something that is against cannon it would be pretty obvious for the writer to just brake it in same shape or form, but I see how not doing that might have been an intriguing challenge.
The Scoot walks up to everyone part to ask if they would adopt her was a bit weird, I'm not gonna lie, and I would have enjoyed if there was more RD in the story, but it was whimsical, and that is what I asked.

Well, the point wasn't that she wanted those ponies to adopt her for real. They all understood what she was doing—she was just frustrated with her parents. It wouldn't be approved, so it was a waste of time to fill out the paperwork, but she was hoping to find someone who cared enough about her to make the effort anyway because she was worth it to them.
If just about everypony in town is applying to be Scootaloo's mom, and Rainbow Dash is Scootaloo's sister...there's a risk that nearly everypony will be Rainbow's mom.
