Starlight Glimmer wants to fly kites, but the weather is not scheduled for anything conducive to kite flying. Things go awry because the name 'Starlight Glimmer' is in that sentence.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Thanks to Mitch H for an offering that became the paraphrased second paragraph and helping connect two discordant ideas. Also Tired Old Man for his input and edits.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

My other fics Sunset Shimmer is MAD about Everything and A Newspaper Solves Everypony's Problem are tied into this, though not strictly required for enjoyment...

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

...assuming there's any to be had.

Twilight has never been one to leave an endeavor half-baked, so when she decides to learn to cook, she demands nothing less than the best teacher gems can buy: renowned chef Spike the Dragon.

Eggheads will crack, nerves will grate, and longstanding national institutions will be shaken to their starchy, tuberous roots as Twilight grapples with the art and science that is cooking.

A visit to Twilight's house started off like normal. Some gossip here, some makeup there.

Then Rarity ventured into Spike's room, and is appalled at how child-like It looked. Dolls, Comic books, and even a Power Pony themed blanket. As an act of "generosity", Rarity decides to surprise Spike with a new room and gives away all of his collectibles.

His reaction? Well... It's rather... explosive.

Rarity is screwed.

An unrealistic interpretation of Spike's reaction if his comic books were to be tampered with. Written for fun/practice as my first comeback story since 2014! Enjoy!

This story is a sequel to The Spike Poem Anthology

Spike writes poems about his life with Twilight and his friends, hoping to meet a mysterious poem writer through his own poetry writing. These are a few of his new poems about his friends, his life, and his secret admirer.

You might want to read the first anthology to get what's going on or at least the epilogue. Anyways, this time I intend to write more than one poem back to Spike. Going to warn you some of these poems are a bit dark. That's cause I've been going through some stressful times lately and dark stuff just came more easily. Don't worry, I'm fine.

Updates might be highly irregular though.

Twilight bounds into her castle's kitchen one morning, and interrupts Spike's breakfast with exciting news.

"Exciting," in this context, is used incredibly loosely.

(Originally written for The Writeoff Association's "The Twilight Zone" prompt, and submitted under the title "Twilight Sparkle Seeks a Zoning Permit". Wisely retitled for FiMfic.)
