Dragon Lord Ember

Fairy tales write dragons as unkind, creatures of avarice, so cruel
But now, I can hope ponies will open their eyes and remember
There are dragons who love friends more than simple jewels
Look no further than the noble Dragon Lord Ember.

When ponies she just met needed her, she fought on their behalf
She halted what could have destroyed Ponyville; a pony dragon feud
By opening her heart to others and taking the Dragon Lord Staff
We all owe her a great chorus of unending gratitude.

We owe each other our lives, I saved her and she saved me
We came through for each other and our friends when the need was dire
But she bridged the gap between dragons and ponies
The moment we became friends and the moment she took the Trial of Fire.

Her true strength is a fragile heart
That thunders for every comrade
This gives her power that sets her apart
And fortifies her soul ironclad.

So next time you see a tale of knights and dragons malevolent
Remember Dragon Lord Ember, so brave and benevolent.
