Pinkie Pie is tucking the Cake twins in bed, but they are too rowdy to sleep. So Pinkie decides to read them a few stories to calm them down. Using famous fairy tales for reference, Pinkie decides to put her own twist into the stories. That can only mean one thing:

Anything can happen!

A rainy night at a bar really brings out stories from within ponies. During a game of poker, Equestria's rogue list, including Nightmare Moon, Chrysalis, Discord, and Sombra, plus another, the baddies start sharing stories. The similarity; the telling of how they almost won their most famous defeats.

Loosely based on the episode, "Almost Got 'Em" from Batman the Animated Series

Rarity receives an invitation to Equestria’s most exclusive and secretive social club. The only catch is, she can only attend if she brings her lawfully wedded spouse. Fortunately, there’s a certain purple dragon who’s willing to help her overcome this little difficulty. It’s a simple, foolproof plan: get married, attend the club, and then get an annulment. Nothing is ever that simple, however… not their weekend, not their friendship, and certainly not their marriage.

Nick and Penny have been together for fifteen years, and for fifteen years they have been proving that if you try really hard, Equestria can be an unwelcome place for you. They have done shady deals, they got half lynched after Nightmare Moon returned, they got fired from the Royal Guard, they took a bank when Discord reigned. The law would probably hesitate to put much of a price under their mugs on the posters. There are many variables about their misadventures, but two constants are the same - things will get bad, and they will always be at each other's side.

They are exactly the type to end up in Pierce Heaven, and Pierce Heaven is not merciful, either. It will eat you up. And it will not spit you out. It will not care about your constants.

So Penny is going to have to pull Nick out by force, it seems.
