When a human is thrust into Equestria on a whim, he struggles to fit in with the locals of this strange land and tries to figure out how to get home, making new friends along the way.

Snowstorm is new in Ponyville, has just met the mare of his dreams, and landed a great job. But how will he react when the object of his affection is not only his partner, but his manager? Lessons of life, love, loss, and laughs, as well as everything in between.

Justin's life on Earth sucked. Horrible job, horrible apartment, horrible lifestyle and no contact with anyone you could call a friend. When he winds up in Equestria, he's more than happy to stay. But things ain't so easy where the grass is greener...

There is a pony who goes by the name of Blues. It's not hard to miss him, but it's easy to forget about him. He is just an average pony with an average job and a bad luck streak.

But today he's going to change that. Blues is on his way to ask out the most beautiful pony in all of Ponyville. Surely nothing can go wrong, especially if the main cast get involved. Right?

[2nd Person Perspective]

"Look out for number one."

That was the way of life back in Clopton. A city where survival was a daily battle.

Having made a few too many enemies, you move to Ponyville with only a bag of bits, the tools of your trade, and a couple jackets to cover the scars you've accumulated in the past. You don't trust anypony as far as you can throw them, but can you mesh well enough into the little country town to support yourself?

It'd probably be easier without that colorful maned pegasus bothering you.

When a new pony arrives in Ponyville to lead a quiet, simplistic life away from the stage, he can't imagine getting smitten by a shy, timid little pegasus. Even worse, his life before wasn't as glamorous as everyone would believe, and when his past begins to show up in his new home, he'll have to decide between the music he loves to play, or the pony he loves to play for.

Author's Note: Yes, I understand the tags are a bit contradictory, but elements of humor always manage to snake their way into every work I do. If the general consensus is that I don't need it, I'll uncheck it. And it goes without saying that all feedback is welcome so long as it isn't blatantly offensive.

EDIT 9/21/11: Yes, that cover image is one I drew myself during a Calculus lecture. An intricate flute with a butterfly on the end? How adorable, I know! Before anyone says anything, I have no idea what an actual flute looks like anymore, so any issues can be chalked up to pony craftsmanship. Enjoy!
