A day before the town-wide Hearts and Hooves Day party, Twilight Sparkle received a strange note in the mail. There was no doubt that it was Rarity who had penned the curvy script gracing the letter, but the riddle that lay tauntingly alongside her greeting was quite the mystery.

And Twilight loved solving a good mystery.

While the mane 6 and their families are on a camping trip, Rarity and Twilight are asked to tell the story of how they fell in love when a colt gets confused as to how they could have had a foal together. Although rated Teen, there are no plans for any direct sexual encounters, explicit or otherwise. Credit to /u/anon2lol over on reddit for the cover art!

Centuries after most of her friends have all passed away, Twilight decides to make one last trip into the past. No interacting, no greeting deceased friends, no reunion with her beloved marefriend. Just one quick glance at a life long lost.

However, for better or worse, she'll end up getting much, much more than that.

This was something I wrote for the Twarity prompt collab. A stand-alone oneshot for a bit of my own venting in it. Not one of my best pieces, but I thought it should get published, because why not?

It's come to Rarity's attention that Twilight doesn't know the finer points of royal etiquette yet, so she gives her a few lessons on how to dance like a true princess would.

It's not like she has any ulterior motive for asking Twilight to dance under a romantic, starlit sky... right?

Clover the Clever owes all she is in life to the whim of the unicorn princess. Platinum isn't perfect, but Clover has seen first hand the good she can do.
