I tried to have a normal day today. When I got turned into Princess Luna from a cartoon , I realized that this day would be anything but simple. But that's not all! I have her sister to worry about, these "Elements" I keep hearing about, and I have the original Luna in my thoughts, yelling away! Combine all that with no way to go home, and you got yourself a bad situation. What could possibly go wrong?

I know the Human In Equestria has been done to death, including the turned into an existing pony thing, but I, and a few others, have been surprised that no-one did one of Princess Luna! Nevertheless, here you go.

As always, tell me how I can improve the story a bit, constructive criticism is allowed, and have a good day reading my story!

In the year 2036 an asteroid dubbed "Apophis" struck the Earth and contaminated fifty percent of its water and atmosphere with an extraterrestrial pathogen dubbed "The SOL Strain." After two years, sixty percent of all human life was gone! With the world's governments struggling to keep their countries together; all seemed lost.

That is where my story begins.

My name is Chloe Cooper and I'm the only known human to be genetically immune to the SOL Virus. During the pandemic, I volunteered myself for experimentation. In order to keep me safe, I and three other humans were locked away in a vault deep within the Appalachian mountains. There these people, who I soon considered my friends, ran many tests on me and the virus, however after months without contact from above it was time to put the project to rest.

Cryostasis pods dubbed: "Cocoons" had been built in case we failed. 16,000 years later I awoke to sirens, signaling a whole host of problems.

And now? I'm the last of my kind.

In the months following her return from Nightmare, Luna locked herself away in her room. Despite her best efforts, Celestia could not coax her sister outside in an effort to reintegrate her with the modern ponies. The Princess of the Sun was not willing to simply stand by and watch this time as Luna fell to ruin, but the younger alicorn was making things much harder than they needed to be, only raising the moon and mindlessly wandering the dreamscape in her self-imposed exile.

The eldest mare's list of ideas was nearly run dry when a strange Rough Collie suddenly appeared out of nowhere in the middle of the royal gardens, wounded. Celestia saw this as an opportunity to get her sister to make a new friend. Luna, however, does not especially care for canines, only seeing them as day-running, mindless mutts.

The only problem with that is... I'm not quite as mindless as she thinks I am.

A/N:
This is a test to see if I could do a non-romance story. My writer's block has been acting up something fierce, so I figured that maybe some work on a different story like this might help me.

EDIT 6/30/18: Progress on the rewrite of my other story, PP&F, has slowed down again, so I'm gonna see what I can do about this one since I can actually post these chapters as a write them, instead of writing the entire thing then posting chapters on a steady schedule.

Some inspiration was taken from A Feline's Point of View by Zman537, a wonderful little story that, if you've never heard of it, you should feel ashamed for not having read yet.

Just because the two sisters have led Equestria through thousands of years of peace doesn't mean there aren't those who think they can do better.

With a powerful artifact on their side, a group of rebels has sealed Celestia in her palace and stripped her of the majority of her powers. As the last of her guards fall, she hears the pounding on the throne room doors and knows the end is coming soon...

To help further improve the diplomatic relations between Earth and Equestria, a human was sent to live in Canterlot Castle; to live together in harmony with it's many servants, guards, and two princesses. This move was sure to help stabilize and strengthen the alliance between the two worlds.

There was one teeny, tiny, condition though: the human, for the duration of his stay in Canterlot Castle, has to serve one of the two princesses.

Now, if you're wondering who that human is, well look no further! I'm the human you're looking for. And who am I serving? Her name is Luna. Princess Luna. I'm already getting the feeling that this is going to go swimmingly. Unless I drown first.

Kali Nyx is a name I came up with for Nightmare Moon. Kali is a Hindu goddess of death and rebirth, and Nyx is the Greek personification of the night. Kali is also the fierce aspect of the goddess Durga, who is often associated with the god Rahu, who is the Hindu god of darkness and eclipse. Selene was the Greek goddess of the moon. If I have something wrong with this or it doesn't sound good, please tell me so that I can fix it.

Rated teen for a mildly bloody battle scene. Nothing more.
