What if Twilight had to replace Stygian in the Pony of Shadows? For a while, they'd just have to move on with their lives until The Pony Of Twilights, formally The Pony of Shadows could be seen again and the Mane 5, even some with relationships, have to fight to get their friend back. Big Mac knows how to read certain details about her. It keeps him in tune with her. That’s what friends do, right? And that’s what they are. Friends.

1000 years the ponies have prayed for a saviour to deliver them, whether it was their long lost sun goddess Celestia, or even Nightmare Moon, maybe even the chaos lord Discord, anypony! After suffering under the yoke of a tyrant god for so long, they decided any saviour will do, even a dark demonic overlord. One unicorn sorceress finally decides to take matters into her own hooves. She sets out to the frozen ruins of a long lost Empire in the Crystal Mountains bearing a grand sacrifice of 1000 ponies in an attempt to summon the dark demonic overlord of the Crystal Empire.

When the dark ritual turned up a blank, the universe decides to shuffle in the next best thing. Will he rise up to the expectations of his newfound flock? He'd better, and quickly, for the tyrant god's inquisition is out to get him and the 1000 'blasphemers' involved in his summoning. With a nation to build and an evil tyrant god to fight, never has there been a taller order to fill. But it's alright, he's a dark demonic overlord, right? He quickly finds that with some smokes and mirrors and the help of 1000 very magical ponies, anyone can look the part, even an entirely magic-inert pizza delivery dude.

Waking up in unfamiliar places is nothing new to Logan Carabel. However, getting arrested by multicolored ponies in another world is a little new to him. Being far from home without another human in sight, Logan is forced to make connections with those around him to find a way home. But when he finds out he's not the first human to enter Equestria, he has hope. If there's a will, there's a way, and he's willing to do anything to get home.

Princess Luna, on the other hoof, has just returned to her role as Princess of Equestria upon her freedom from the Nightmare. But with her weakened state, she's unable to do much. Lost in the memories of the past, she may just be the key Logan needs to get home.

Izzy likes hanging out with her new friends, especially Zipp. She's learned so many new things from her, like that Pegasi don't hatch from eggs.

This story is a sequel to The Twin Students of the Sun.

Sunset Shimmer and Twilight Sparkle, along with Twilight's dragon son Spike, have finally moved to Ponyville! It's about a week after the Summer Sun Celebration, when they teamed up with their new friends Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Sweetie Drops, and Masquerade to save the world from Nightmare Moon's eternal night.

Now that they're (mostly) unpacked, it's time to catch up with their friends, meet the neighbors, and enjoy a welcoming party thrown by Dr. Pie, Doctor of Party-ology. And then Spike gets a message, containing the usual Grand Galloping Galla tickets. Ugh, so boring right?...girls? Why is everypony staring? Uh oh.

Episode 2 of the Sunsetverse, now open to more authors!

It's the middle of the night. Maybe. Since Sunset Shimmer uses light-blocking curtains and has no bedside clock, it could be noon for all she cares. Still, the buzzing of her transdimensional diary wakes her up. It's Twilight Sparkle, panicking about venturing outside her comfort zone. Sunset does her best to calm her friend down.

One thousand years ago, Celestia failed to reach out to her sister and save her from the darkness that consumed her. In her sorrow, she was forced to seal her within the Moon.

Five years ago, Sunset Shimmer, Celestia's personal student, also turned twords a darker path. Celestia once again sought to save somepony she cared about from falling onto a dark path. This time, she succeeded...

The first story of the Sunsetverse, join Sunset Shimmer and Twilight Sparkle, Celestia's personal students, as they are sent to Ponyville to oversee the Summer Sun Celebration. Oh, and make some friends. Sunset's not so sure how that counts as a job, but it would probably be a good thing for Twilight. Poor girl's obsessed with some Mare in the Moon legend she read. A few days out of the library and interacting with other ponies would only be a good thing for her, right? After all, there is no way Nightmare Moon is real.

With the sirens dealt with and no pressing time limit to return to her world now that she can come and go at will, Twilight spends some time catching up with Sunset Shimmer. She asks a question that has been on her mind for a while now. Namely, how Sunset ever thought invading Equestria with a few hundred zombified high school students was a remotely workable plan. It turns out that radically altering your entire physiology and brain chemistry doesn't do any favors for your IQ.
