Toby "Tobuscus" Turner is transported to Equestria when he presses a rainbow colored button, will he make friends or will he be evil. Neither, he shall be Tobuscus. And if It's Tobuscus it means stuff.

When the world seems to be against you, how do you find a place where you belong? Forge has had that problem for as long as he can remember. Due to his special "gifts", everypony believed him to be a monster and were terrified of him. However, after getting caught up in the storm of the century, he finds himself in Ponyville where his luck begins to turn. But how long will it last?

Rated Teen for mild language.

When Sir Spike the Fireheart is framed by a fellow knight and branded a traitor to the Kingdom of Equestria for crimes he did not commit, he escapes persecution and makes a new life in the Everfree forest with a thief by the name of Pipsqueak. All the while, the seeds of vengeance slowly begin to bloom, and with the help of a strange cast of allies, he seeks to right the wrongs done unto his name. Cover Art belongs to: John Joseco. A noble earth-pony family, fallen somewhat on hard times, is killed in a mining accident. They leave behind a single male heir, who is in sore need of a guardian, and of protection. Celestia takes the young pony under her wing and delivers him not to ponies - not earth, unicorn or pegasus - but to a dragon, an ambassador, an old friend of hers.

Playing a game which may just be deadly to the uninformed, the dragon decides that the one path open to him to ensure the safety of his charge and to carry out his sworn duty, is to adopt.

I was hardly prepared for this...

Even though I am an avid reader of the "human finds himself into the equine society" kind of genre, most of those stories which happened to have an average human as the main character were simply.. absurd, biased against humanity or simply illogical right off the bat, mostly picturing ludicrous approaches and results, ranging from resorting to outright socipathy for no apparent reason to instantaneous mutual affinity between two alien beings who had never met before, again, for no actual reason.

As a result, those had little to none useful advices... nothing that can aid me now on dealing with the real thing, just dumb, over-the-top, childishly written perspectives... like a supersoldier's violence-ridden one-track mind, a fanboy's squeamish and annoyingly upbeat vision, a lonely human' sugarcoated dream of making out with equines and so on...

I figure I have no choice but to carry on my own particular approach by avoiding such distorted perspectives... we'll see the results soon enough.

Usually when you are killed, you die. Of course there are exceptions to every rule. Usually those exceptions don't end up in a world full of colorful talking ponies with 3 other people from random points of Earth's history, but hey, I can't complain too much. Now if we can just figure out what happened, how we ended up in Equestria, and who is responsible for this mix up...

I always wanted to go to Equestria. When I got the chance, I took the deal without reading the fine print. To my surprise, I didn't arrive there as a pony, or even as a human. It seems I get to view this world from a different perspective than what I've imagined.
