In the episode "A Canterlot Wedding", we see everyone treat Twilight Sparkle rather shabbily, and when she's proven to be right, no one apologizes to her - not even Princess Celestia. How might this have affected Twilight?

In the aftermath of the ruined wedding of Shining Armor and Princess Cadance, Celestia and several others maintain a vigil at Canterlot General Hospital. AU.

A/N: I'm sure that someone has done something like this before, but I needed to get the scene out of my head. Please give feedback and let me know if I messed anything up!

Princess Celestia asked the element bearers to write her friendship reports. When she reads about how Twilight overcame Tirek, she is surprised and... somewhat less than pleased.

After all, as the Princess of Friendship, shouldn't she have tried to work through Tirek's issues? Shouldn't she have tried to reform him? Shouldn't she have known better than to give the villain all their power?

And then there is that one, last, thing...

What if Rainbow Dash had been present when Discord gave the Mane Cast their first shot at him? How could things have gone different? How could this have changed things?How could this have changed Twilight?
