~ This is a side story to Luna Plays...

It has been months since Princess Luna has discovered video games, and it has been months since she found somepony worthy enough to challenge her; to meet her skills equally in virtual combat. But alas, she has beaten thousands of millions of players around the world, and not one of them came even close to her score. Shooters: she would take them down like a firing squad. Platforming: she already jumped her way to victory in ten seconds flat. Puzzles: outsmarted those poor gamers. Casual: too easy. Role-Playing Games: she's the highest level.

To Luna, multiplayer in video gaming was getting a tad bit boring, and she was desperately looking for somepony that could match her prowess. So you can imagine the joy of adrenaline she received when she met Button's mom online.

She always knew that her friends would begin to drift apart with time; she understood that those endless Ponyville summers must end one day. Still, even though Twilight has accomplished her dreams, something is keeping her rooted in the past.

But the bustling, decadent nights in Canterlot are made for sharing secrets, and tonight, an old friend is waiting for her among the crowds. Could a familiar face and a guiding hoof be enough to lighten the young princess's burden?

That is none other than the stallion who's loved, protected, and cared for him the most. The one who's been there when nopony else has. The one who guides him, provides for him, and leaves big horseshoes for him to fill someday.

Takes place before "Wonderbolt Academy".

After returning from Hearth's Warming Eve in Canterlot Rarity cannot stop thinking about her purple unicorn friend in a new light. Great angst and shipping ensues.

When I lost my sight, I became a recluse. I hid away, staying in my own world instead of out in the one meant for those with sight. But when Princess Celestia had me move to Ponyville, I had to adjust to a new walk of life, again intended for those with sight. I guess I'm doing okay, thanks to a certain pegasus mare whose kindness and gentle voice got through to me where everyone else has failed.

Caramel's cutie mark is rather strange one; his special talent is supposedly spreading luck to himself and those around him, but in more than one form. He is new in town, and the shy earth pony is finding job-hunting and making friends a little difficult. This all changes with a chance meeting with Sweet Apple Acres' resident workhorse and the aftermath of Applebuck season leaving the farm short on labour. As the months pass, a strong bond of friendship is forged between to two stallions, and all kinds of shenanigans ensue.

When a gossipy Rarity sets up the idea of using a spell to help her and Twilight find their true loves, they were biting off more than they could chew.
